Good idea, but you have a lot of work if you want to continue on this project. For some reason I doesn't have a mouse icon. But I had fun playing it. Keep it up.

I am not sure if I am planning on continuing this project. I have some other cool ideas in mind.
Honestly alarm clock stops when it burn out. I checked it on every stream. And yea there is an in game time, but it's kinda tricky. The clock in the walls are actually show the in game time. So in cutscene it says that you need to wait 10 hours. So when the game start you just should to wait 10 ingame hours to win.
I really like the style you chosen, so good.
Overall is a good game. I really liked the Portal cake reference :D But I not sure is it can be completed, or you just reach the end of the level? Fun fact if you spam click you will be boosted second time. I also think that this game have lack of background, it's not bad but I think maybe some mountains will make it look better.
Atmosphere is very impressive, so love it.
I see you have inspired from LIMBO a lot, and It is great. I soo like this game, but it have a little problem with the sound when I walk through the thing (maybe is was rocks or gravel) and it starts spamming the sound. And I think during the first escape the spider moves kinda slow.
Nice and relaxing! Dificulty curve is smooth, I like it! I also really liked that they are rigid bodies, so you can push one another. But I think it's not intended because the UI is turning with the plant too. Also really liked the day night cycle, but feels too short for me. As I understand it is for the gameplay reasons so that plants won't die from freezing. And the ambient sounds is fantastic!
My thoughts: Overall gameplay is good but get's repetative pretty fast, maybe adding features like: some plants do not like to be with each other it will add more dynamic to the game, so you not just tossing plants around, but you need to think where they should or should not be.
Good idea! I really liked the concept, a blackhole shader and a different endings. But game seems empty in gameplay perspective
Good game, same problem here as a people above have mentioned, hard to aim, it is mainly because of camera projection you've set to be orthographic, if you switch this to perspective it would be easier to aim.
Also game become really repetetive with only one type of enemy
This is one of the cleverest theme representation I've seen in this LD, I might completly miss this one for the cover image, but man, this is just so brillint I have no words.
Music is good, chill and relaxing
Puzzles are smart and have several solutions. Also the puzzles get harder pretty fast (might be even too fast)
As a fan of puzzle games, really enjoyed it!
Liked the concept of the game and get the idea, but there is something with the difficulty curve. So begining of the game is nice and calm, so I can shoot some bugs easily. After a minute or two, I figured that I can shoot faster when I kill the orage onces and just spam click, but after a while they just start to zerg rushing (spaming) my base If there is more power aps or upgrades for the base, it would add vary to the gameplay and help player defend the base
Good game. Like the concept of stacking boxes and traps! The game not only feels finished, but plays that way too! Only one problem was to me to reach the archer.
The graphics is insane! Really like the lights, I really can feel it! And sounds is gourgeous. But I kinda stuck on how to start glowing agan, when I played before reading the descriptions, as for me it's not so obvious what should I do. But overall really enjoyed the game!
Good game. Liked the renewing plates portal, music is nice. As for me the ball move eather too slow or too fast. And for the top portal there is kinda strange ball behaviour when it exits from it, it just starts to slowly jumping to the left.
But for the time it took for you to make the game, this game is just brilliant!
Nice game, cool visuals. First time I played I just start shooting the builds, and then I saw that the enemy shooting building too and I was just like "Oh.. wait.. f" Music is beautiful
From gameplay perspective the game is feels finished, but shooting enemies is good and all, but why I can't run over them?
My achilles heel is to make SFX. Maybe if I've spend more time on it, it would be good. Maybe it would be better leave sounds away, but it is what it is.
@EagleV I don't see any
@kromeboy I was planning to do procedural generation for the cities, so it makes clear that player don't travel to the same place, but every time visiting new city. But time was agains me :)
@oadt At the start I've planned to just make some sort of bunker, where you've hinding so player would know that they are running from something or leaving the place for some reason. And the reason will be seen in a few moments as a storm (tornado) that comming for the player.
Yes, it will remove the feeling that you drive into unknown, but the original idea was with the ending where the player reaches some place it dreamd about, so in this scenario you'r right and I will take a note for this, thanks!
@auxiliarymoose Yes great idea! I wanted to add the music as an ambient, something like in Outer Wilds but completly forget and remmember when I saw that the time I have left for finishing my project is around 1-2 hours, so I just tosed this aspect from a project. I ofcourse will consider it for my next projects!
@bohmann well it's just a requirment for the category
Fun game. Took me some time to figure out controls, when I did I've enjoyed game pretty much. But still have a strange filling in losing controls and missing some tiles because of it. Overall good game, misses some music tho
Really good concept. The game is fun, and can train your reaction and typing speed. Tutorial is brilliant, explains everything you need in a playful way, I like it a lot!
Very nice idea. I really liked that the cells appear in rhythm of music! One thing I think you should improve is the curve dificulty, it starts easy but become impossible really quick (But pretty sure it's for sake of the jam). Overall, really liked the game, with small tweeks in graphic I see it in PlayMarket as a popular game!
Good concept, the title is defenetly brought my attention, but I thought about little bit different game that I got. Overall game is nice, SFX for each card espesially brilliant. Playing with only numbers is good, but it become really repetetive over time. If you will continue on this project I can suggest you to add buffs or debuffs, so you can approach the gameplay a bit more thoughtful
Just interesting: I know that card balanced against the player for the theme reasons, but if not the JAM would you still do it that what?
Good game. As a fan of garden simulators loved to see one in the competition. But for me game feels so hard to understand and is really rappid in gameplay, like I just planted a flower and second after it dies because I don't water it. Also as a person above mention, game just don't allow you to test other plants, so you only way to live is to plant sunflower and let it die.
But with some balace tweaks I see this game in my Steam library easily
I really liked the idea. Firstly I thought that you need to block each stream of water, rather than fixing entire dam. The game really misses some SFX. Any even simplest sounds would be nice :/ Rather than that I really liked the animations you've made
That was unexpected. I firstly thought that it was a exploring game, but it really is racing game and you also managed to implement bots. Impressive! But I'm pretty sure that they use some cheats for moving in the environment :) Also really liked the sound, music and the shader on the batteries Controlls, a bit tricky and sometimes it hard to control where your rover will end up
Very interasting puzzle!
Missing some music in the background, but it's okey
Sand block (in state when it is unmovable and you can walk on top of it) seems really similar to solid (I mean in color pallet)
From puzzle side: Pretty much well done! Looking forward to see what would you come up with, maybe for your game
Good game. Sims that you forgot to remove generate map button :) Not quite understand that I can use ability first time. Would be cool if you could continue to fight agains spiders, so you can overbuff your character like in Risk of Rain
Got to 42 first time. Good game. This is sad the game is so small. I feel like if there were another way to produce energy, it would be great
Cool idea, got to 80k, but on this level your balance just jumping from one side to another with a jentle touch, so I failed here :D This game reminds me of old flash games I loved to play as a child, really nostalgical, love it
Graphics is pretty, I see you are similar to me in graphis we are both don't have a clue how to make humans right, but your anyway seems better than mine ;)
Sounds/music is decent and I don't get borred listening to it
I firstly thought that I should be balancing in the place and keeping the bar in the green are. Second time I thought I need to move forward and don't understand why I was loosing if do soo. And only on fourth time I understand that you need to just get a high score and do not exit specific area
Cool concept! Really liked the mini-games you put in to. But for me the energy one seems off (or maybe it is input delay), because when I press exacly on the spot it doesn't register, so it only works when I press it before it touches the bar. Also not sure I got how gravity tractors works, because seems mine doesn't do anything :) Found little bug where you can fill ore when it already filled up Noice you've added seems not fitting for me
Overall good entry, also this game reminds me of games like "Please, don't touch anything"
Liked the sounds of trumpet :)
Firstly I thought buttons was click 'n' place, but it was actually drag 'n' drop, and for me it is fitting better that what I was thought originaly, but you need to make it clearer or add both methods of placing.
One big problem for me is the camera, sometimes it is very hard to see where the ball is. And I need to constantly rotate my camera to keep contact with the ball. Also it is hard to feel the depth for the level, so when I use the explosion it is hard to predict in which direction it would be thrown
I tossed it so hard, that it crushed to the moon! Good game, very funny. Like it!
SAD - stands for Sauce Always Down?
chrome_daonUCpk0y.png Do I see something? No. Was it fun. Yes!
chrome_ZletpkpioA.png Shooting sound got a bit disturbing at after some time, but besides it was really fun little game. Actually see no need to pickup Magnet as option power up, since I need to have some damage output for each stage of the game. Usually for Vampire-like games this power up drops randomly whenever you kill enemy of find it in tresure chests. Overal fun experience, wish there to be more content in the future :)
chrome_aCG83JYmFj.png Have no idea how you managed to optimize it, take of my hat only for that. As it seems you have no intention on making a game as it is, but some just relaxing experience that, or tech-demo. This game can be described as "Just sit back and relax and wathing on random pixels consuming other pixels"
chrome_9hQu8OVEGR.png Really enjoyed the game, but the only thing that was a shame, that the upgrade isn't infinite!
Really great job you've done here
Really apresiate SFX of the game! Also sometimes I was unable to see platform that I have to jump to, they was just out of my screen :) But overal liked the graphics and style of the game
