Have you considered doing a WebGL build? Makes it easier to play and review :)

I'm open to ideas on how to submit UE4 content in a web player, but everything I found hints that it's not as simple as a build :(
Would appreciate if you tried it anyway :)
I had fun with this submission. I liked the graphics and looking through the houses. I couldn't make it past age 38. Great submission!
This might just be a problem on my end, but I think Unreal's trying to run the game through VR or something? I'm getting an OpenComposite error and the game fails to launch. Again, no panic, might just be a problem on my end
This game is really funny to me for some reason, i think its the nihilism of it all. I could see it being expanded out to be a great game. Would be nice if there was some more audio though.
Made it to age 35. Nice game, really like the idea. Having more features, more detailed maps, NPCs and so on would be cool. Definitely a project worth continuing to work on post Ludum Dare 50. Would love to follow the progress on some kind of media if you decide to pick up on the work for this game? Overall a great game, requires thinking and strategy, and the indoor house rendering is pretty cool too. Loved that. Nice work!
Made till 45. Its a little funny that you put in a crosshair
Lived in the game for 46 years but never understood the meaning of life. Looks great. Good job
Hello There,
This game was a really interesting concept. I was laughing pretty hard when I realized it costs $100 dollars to sleep. Honestly maybe this will be a reality some day xDDD
I liked the concept for this game, it went with the theme well. I really think that music was needed to make the experience a bit better. The walking sound was also a bit jarring and didn't really feel like walking. Lastly, maybe some UI to show everything you can do on the map. Like Mining and how much it gives you.
Overall, great game thanks for making it. I enjoyed it :D
Made it to 33? Liked the concept, felt it was a bit odd, couldn't quite figure out the balance, but otherwise, great graphics and an interesting idea.
This was an interest take on the theme. I had a good experience.
Got to 63 its honestly addictive!
This game is like typical human life Work eat rest and die because of stress Audio is a bit annoying, and cost of food doesn't raise, not much realistic xd
Really interesting premise! I think the underlying mechanics could use some tweaking but that stuff takes time and game jams don't provide that. It would be really cool to see this game given some time and additional resources.
Well done. =)
This is a tough little resource management game. I got to the point where I didn't have enough energy to work, but too poor to eat. A grim depiction of the economic struggles of the peasant class. Fun to play though!
:) Fun game! I really love the 3D modelling. I couldn't make money faster than it cost me to feed myself! Rough! It could really use a simple music track. But I like this a lot!
Simple but beautiful 3D. Age 42 first try.
It's funny to find trees and stones inside the houses
In general the idea is very good and it is very interesting, maybe it becomes a bit monotonous just having to rest, eat and work, I think that could be better designed. The artistic section is quite good, with more work and polishing they could achieve something very nice!!. I would like to see how the game progresses and what changes are implemented
Wasn't able to past day 37, but I enjoyed my life while it lasted (specially knowing that I am able to enter the other houses). Seems like a nice project to be explored. Nice balance for a Compo game (I feel that those are very hard to get right without time to test). Nice work on the graphics! Well done!
Made it to age 46. About the age of 25 working becomes useless: it exchanges 10 energy for 10 money, and food does the exact opposite, so you end up with a zero-sum loop. I guess this was intended (taking the theme into account), but still would be nice to have some more late-game gameplay.

Got to 42 first time. Good game. This is sad the game is so small. I feel like if there were another way to produce energy, it would be great
Great game! By the age of 20 something I was paying to work :joy: The stepping sound was a bit too loud but it was a solid entry! Good job
Very solid! I appreciate the existential dread this gave me about my own work/eat/sleep repeat loop...
Cool concept. Have hard time to go above 40~ but it feels addictive ! Like other, after 20~ its hard to find the balance but it fits so well with the theme. Great job !
This is my favorite interpretation of the theme I've seen so far! This game is such a great metaphor for life. I thought I had it figured out early when I was young. I had so much money and so much energy! But that was only because I was young. It all went downhill quickly and I died at 41. Lol!
Like others here I'd love to see this expanded more. NPC's to talk to. Maybe a vista to visit to lower some stress. I like the art style, and unlike some others here I actually like the footstep sound effect. It's reminiscent of Nintendo era stuff. To me its nostalgic and part of the game's charm. Awesome work!
I enjoyed it! It became impossible too quickly like others said. Lovely 3d graphics (:
Congratulation to your entry.
You did a lot of 3d models in that small amount of time. I liked the low poly character style. I had some performance issues on my laptop though.
I had the feeling something was missing in your game. Like a specific spice when you cook. Game design does not always need to be complex. A simple idea can change the entire game.
But keep up making games! You will get better and better!
