I like the art and music, but I feel like the gameplay could use more direction - objectives to fulfill? Or things to discover?

Very cute graphics!
Love the Graphics solidly fun gameplay would like to see more content
First of all: Pretty impressive what you achieved in such a short time! (: The game is fun to play, easy on the eye and seemingly bugfree. Good job. A few remarks: After a few minutes trying to understand the game it was pretty easy to stay alive, since the costs for "rain" and the "sun" are constant. Also starting the game in the shop was a litte confusing. Maybe show the village before opening the shop. Besides that loosing was not possible for me. I really tried. :D And while trying that I noticed that the "catastrophe" sound accumilates and gets extremely loud.
Thank you all for the feedback and kind words!
@blacklambert Thanks for pointing out the win screen not showing. I've uploaded a small patch which resolves the issue, as well as the accumulating sound issue.
Very solid! I like the simple mechanics. Like others have mentioned, I think having a goal system would give the game more direction, like "reach x population", "collect x stone". It did seem a bit easy, almost my entire map was flooded, but once i got the sun, everything was instantly fixed with hardly any repercussions other than not getting many materials for a few turns and a slight population decrease.
I honestly can't believe you have received only ten ratings so far! I mean, this game has everything: perfect implementation of the jam theme, polished graphics in a style that suits the genre well, same goes for music, and the inondation mechanic creates some really interesting scenarios sometimes - for example, I softocked myself on my first run because I neglected a resource and I didn't have enough of that resource to start producing it again XD
Most importantly, this game looks professional and I could easily see it as a mobile game, just to give an example. One thing is for sure: I'll continue playing it until I master it!
I really like this kind of game and this was the i've played most in LD. Graphics are nice, gameplay is polished and game is addicting.
This is such a cool idea for a town builder! Really great use of the theme! Really fun and nice graphics too! :D
Such a fun and polished game, with a simple and cute art style. Really nice!
I really enjoyed the vibe of this one! I found myself wishing that the available resources were randomized every visit to the shop, so that I could address resource shortages or natural disasters during a season. Great job on getting this accomplished in 72 hours!
Very nice and chill game. Would be great if the shop remembers the slot i just selected, so i can easily build multiples of a tile. Keep it up :)
Nice calm game and very well polished, the sound effects and animations were nice and made it clear what was happening in the game at all times
excellent game, i loved the graphics, the tile system, really great work! calm and relaxing music is nice too!
Definitely on of my favourite submissions so far! It's so simple yet difficult, it's very well polished and feels nice to play, great work!
Nice and relaxing game) Switching to the shop is a bit annoying and personally for me it was not allways clear why i cannot build some types. but overall it was really fun! great job)
Really fun game! Cute artstyle and nice music, controlled great and was pretty simple once I got my head around everything. Played it on the first update and it's come along really nicely now that a lot of the bugs and locks got patched out. Good job!
