The game was a little clumsy to play. But it's a good entry according to the theme.

The game was a little clumsy to play. But it's a good entry according to the theme.
How is it even possible to create a game of such scale within 72 hours! Great job. Beautiful art style and effects. Quite interesting mechanics, even though the concept was a little confusing at the beginning.
Quite polished for a game jam game. Very impressive.
I like the audio a lot. It helps to build suspense. On the other hand, the game mechanic requires a little more polish. Sometimes it's quite hard to hit an enemy. But none the less a fun game to play
The game was a little difficult to play on my 4k display. :D And it took me a while to get a hang of the controls. But I had some fun playing.
Quite complex game for a creating time of 72 hours. And I am talking about complex in a good way. Choosing the fights carefully to loose as fewer party members as possible is an interesting game design decision. I also like the small minigames within a fight. With these, the result of an encounter is mostly bound to the player's skills. Great job!
Quite fun to play. Even though I had some difficulties shooting and turning with only my touchpad. XD Maybe you should rate more games to get more ratings yourself. You'd deserve it. (:
Quite fun to play. Awesome level design. Fine graphics. I like how the game unfolds over type by gaining new items or activating teleporters. But there are a few aspects of the game I have to criticize. First of all, I'd it would be great if the deity gets angrier over time. So the player has to hurry a little bit. And some kind of indicator of how many candies the player has collected compared to the maximum candy count would be nice. But after all a great entry given the fact the game was created within 72 hours.
Swipe movements are unusual using a mouse. But worked well either way. Cute game but not the most innovative gameplay.
Easy to learn and pleasantly hard to master. But it isn't easy to tell the freezing and the warm people apart.
Well, not bad for someone who started developing games a few months ago. But the gameplay is not much fun. I found the best way to play to just stand at the altar and keep pushing my left mouse button. But never mind and keep going. You'll get better with every game you create. (:
Feel free to share your thoughts on our game. We'd love to get some feedback. (:
@itsn8 Hey there. Montezuma_FIX.zip is the last and most polished release. Hope you enjoy our game
@afroant Thank you very much! Well, the inspiration... Stuff like this comes to mind if you have no sleep. :D
The thumbnail was not very appealing but I am quite happy I clicked on it anyway. Really awesome entry. Very fun to play with easy controls.
Managed to reach the fourth stage. This game is quite hard, has interesting enemies and works fine. But there to little innovation for my taste.
Finally I managed to defeat the Lord Marbles. Only took me seven runs. :D I survived with 22 minions by only producing swords. It was fun to find the right time to attack the lord. But I'd wish the defensive items had more or any effect. And the usablity of the UI deserves revision. But after all I had a lot of fun.
Wow. Those small fish have quite some mass. :D Beautiful art. I also like the fact, that you made the sound effects all by yourself using your voices. On the other hand upgrades were useless in my opinion (with the exception of the rotor). I'd also wished for a description on how the upgrades effect Kailax. But, non the less a solid entry. (:
Your game is fun to play. Also the theme works very good with tower defense games. The animations and enemy graphics look smooth and polished. At first I had some trouble to determine the spawn points of the enemies. But after the first run this wasn't a problem anymore.
Impressive! Fun to play. Lovely models and animations. Had some problems with the controls in the beginning. But got used to it after a while. My opinion on bull-dozers was neutral before. Now I am not so sure anymore. :D
This game is fun to play. I somehow like the concept of the camera being attached the mouse curser. Also the indicators at the sides of the screen where to find the nests were quite helpful. But I can not see a situation where it's better to buy a weaker weapon instead of the assult rifle or the sniper rifle.
Your game looks quite nice. But I am more a gameplay guy. And the game doesn't communicate its machanics very well. It's hard to tell if the players actions do have any consequences. Also the game's speed is a little to slow for my taste. But beautiful animations!
Impressivly polished game. Pretty hard to play though. The grphics, animations and sounds work nicely togeather. On the other hand it has a little hard to play the game with a 4k display. :D The 'aim' dot was hard to keep track of.
Fun to play. Somehow reminds me of the game 'Papers please'. Got a bug where the progress of furniture bought isn't reset after a play through.
Solid game. Some indicator if the character was hit would be nice.
Had no real difficulty beating this game. In my opinion much to easy. And the game does not suit the theme very well. It's not your life you trade but other creatures life. Anyway, great art and sounds. In the whole a solid entry.
Fun and intensive gameplay! A little to hard for my taste but I managed to beat the game anyway. Loved the concept of air beeing life beeing currency. But I needed the oxygen so badly to complete the levels I only bought some armor. Nothing else.
I realy like how you interpreted the theme. Also solid graphics, audio and gameplay. But the controls sometimes left me frustrated. Especially in the last level.
Very beautiful and challenging game. (: But had some difficulties to figure out the thrust direction. The poor earth that gets hit by all those meteorites. :D
Very innovative gameplay. And it does fit the theme. The controls were a bit weird to be honest. But most importantly: The game was fun to play.
Was intresting to explore all the wrong answers and their results. Solid entry for just one person. (:
Very fun to play. (: Some audio feedback on hit would have been nice.
What a fun game! Really liked it. But I'm missing UI with my life points left. And I didn't see the damage coming. The game is strange as I would expect it from a Ludum Dare entry. :D
Looks like the same problem we had in the beginning. You have to switch the compression method in Unity to Gzip. That worked for us at least. Hopefully I could help.
Beautiful game! And it has a gameplay that is hard to master. Just a tiny suggestion: Add some points for beeing faster or add a minimum amount of loops to perform. This would spice it up a bit. But after all, awesome work!
What's there to say? Awesome concept. Awesome graphics. Very fun to play. And a lot of levels. An awesome experience. (:
Wow, a polished idle game in only three days. Impressive! Loved the humor. Balancing is slightly off and the 7 looks like a 1. :D It also took me a while to understand the reason why I wasn't earning money was the "Do no evil" button. But none the less. Awesome entry!
The game was fun! Enjoyed playing it. Sadly I had some graphical bugs. The whole environment was very dark. One couldn't see much.
A very literal interpretation of the theme. ^^ The puzzles aren't very complicated and the controlls are a bit clunky but it is a fun game after all.
Wow, really fun to play. And fascinating mechanics. Feels complete with few things to complain about. As expected of you, guys. :D
The game looks very sweet. But the gameplay needs some tweaks. The note were of the same colour as the background and therefore hard to see. And three lives or so would have been nice. It's hard if one mistake sends you to the loosing screen.
Sweet and challenging game for only 5 hours development. (: Loved the detail with the bloody spikes.
Puhhh. It was quite hard to play as this jerk. XD Poor Robin. Sadly there are a few bugs while playing the game. But in the whole a nice entry.
Nothing more to say. Awesome concept, art and gameplay mechanics. And the music and sound effects aren't annoying. Much better than most. :D To say at least something slightly negative: In the beginning it is hard to figure out how the gravity system works.
Nice game, but it needs some polish. The progess is too small in my opinion. It takes a while to beat even the enemies in the second area. The controls are a bit clunky and a dodge mechanic would have been great. But it was fun to play anyway.
Wow, awesome game! From the concept over the music to the implementation. Nearly perfect. Hopefully you get more ratings and therefore more attention.
I managed to finish the two levels. At first it was a little hard to figure out how to use the space dash. After that the level was possible. But a few more levels would have been nice. (:
Great experience! Really innovative and fun to play. But I ran in some bugs that made it impossible for me to finish - sadly. Wanted to see the end. (: But very impressive result for just a few days
Wow, I really had fun playing this. Definitely my type of game. The concept is pretty similar to our game. :D How did you manage to do this in only 48 h? Pretty impressive.
This is a solid entry. The connection to the theme is ok but could be more integrated into the gameplay. Also the style is pretty basic and I was missing some music.
I love the midjourney generated pictures and the 3D artstyle. (: They gameplay itself was OK. But I like how you managed to create a start and an ending. Keep it going.
Very beautiful game I have to say. (: And also a cool concept even if the game is a little too fast for my taste. :D I seldomly managed to create a vehicle that did not crash on start. Also it is frustrating to see a good vehicle burst because auf loose parts of the enemy vehicles. It is also a little sad, that the ending is missing.
Pretty interesting concept. I took me a while to understand the rubik cube idea and I am not sure if it gives much to the gameplay. But nice to play nonetheless. The looks of the game are very polished. Especially the screen transition and the ending sequence. The music becomes pretty annoying though. XD
Very cool game with fun mechanics! Very polished with the expolsions, screenshake and all. Would have liked a clearer "receiving damage" sound though.
@sash-a Thanks a lot for your feedback! The shooting behaviour is pretty dumb I have to admit. No time to implement some prediction. Same to say for the spawning of the branches.
@kavehes Thanks for your feedback! The balancing would have deserved more time, that's true. :D
@chocolat-endive Thank you so much for your feedback. Actually MiniMetro with its adaptive music was part of the inspiration for this game. Nice that you noticed it. (:
@vidim888 Thanks for your feedback! I really like your idea for quickfixing the ordering problem. Best would be of course if the nodes would not appear in places where other nodes already exist. But time pressure you know. :D Same goes for your second suggestion. Very much appreciated!
Very fun, good looking and great sounding game! Would have loved some indication of how many lifes I have left. Anyway great job!
I really like your take on the theme. One of the few entries I saw, where the 10 seconds weren't connected to the gameplay but to the story. Also the graphics are pretty nice. I would have loved some basic ambient music though and a less anoying "message" sound. :D The mini games are OK, nothing to special but they are providing some gameplay. Besides that the messages at the end of the game was very touching and made clear why I coudn't make out a continous story. It would be cool if the controls weren't hidden behind the minigame. I had to restart to see the controls for the minigame again. Overall a very cool entry. Keep it up.
I managed to build the statue in 166 days. Super cool game that is fun to play. The controls are self-explanatory and the pacing is good. I think I don't have to say that the looks of the game are amazing. And I do love bunnys. :D Overall: Great work
This is a very cool game. I love the concept, the music and the visuals. Also pretty innovative gameplay. Good job!
First of all: Pretty impressive what you achieved in such a short time! (: The game is fun to play, easy on the eye and seemingly bugfree. Good job. A few remarks: After a few minutes trying to understand the game it was pretty easy to stay alive, since the costs for "rain" and the "sun" are constant. Also starting the game in the shop was a litte confusing. Maybe show the village before opening the shop. Besides that loosing was not possible for me. I really tried. :D And while trying that I noticed that the "catastrophe" sound accumilates and gets extremely loud.
This is a solid game with a variety of levels and enemies. Also the theme is integrated well into the gameplay. The difficulty is pretty easy. I managed to end most levels by simply dodging some enemies or even running straight through them. The jumping curve is a litte weired, more like a triangle than a curve. And also I would have liked another tutorial text describing how to enter the next levels. I found out by accident. Non the less a very good result for one developer. (:
Very cute game with a solid game mechanic. Nothing to special though. Would have liked more level elements. I like what you did with the theme though. A good entry for only one developer.
Intrestring to be a fly for once. :D But honestly, it took my a while to understand how the controls work and even after that I didn't manage to stop the guy from pushing the button
