This game was so much fun, I can't believe you made this in 48 hours! I couldn't stop playing (although I didn't complete the hard challenge) but I had tons of fun building up some automation. It was a bit difficult to get a grasp of at first but it was amazing overall. Thanks for this great entry and I look forward to seeing it develop in the future, maybe even into a full game!
This is a great game that is very well polished and looks and plays absolutely amazingly. The visuals drew me in, and the addictiveness kept me going. The only improvements I would say would be to improve the music, make the health remaining more obvious, and that I sometimes glitched when falling through the floor where I got stuck inside of the floor. Otherwise, this is one of the best games I've played yet and I would love to see it be developed more!
It was a pretty good idea. It was fun to play but I think it could have been more complete. The gears and stuff didn't seem to do anything and I'm not sure if that is a bug or an incomplete feature.
I liked the game, it was quite engaging yet simplistic. I think that you could expand on the mechanics a bit more but great job for a solo game. The enemy was also very strong he just runs to your base and kills your base in 3 shots, which I found quite annoying because I kept losing because he was too quick :).
I really liked the challenge of the game, but I seem to be really bad at it and it took me a long time to get the hang of the controls. The graphics, sounds and gameplay are great, the only improvements I'd like to see is to reset the timer when you die and a better explanation/usage for the dash as I didn't find myself usin it much.
I love the graphics of the game and the concept but I found it quite confusing at the start because I was greeted with a NOPE when I pressed the help button :). Other than that it was a good game, except that sometimes the window didn't open to access the buildings. Can't wait to see what this develops into!
I really loved this game but I found it really hard to get past the 1st level (I might just be really bad). I did it once after playing it like 10 times. This game is very engaging, Overall, a great game, I loved the concept, the execution, the mood and the graphics.
The idea seems well thought out, but I was really confused at first because I didn't really understand the game. I tried to fight the spiders and find parts but I didn't know if I was doing it right because there was no feedback, but I think it has great potential and I'd love to play it again once you have a chance to work on it a bit more
I really liked the concept of this game and how you used running out of space with a PC. The game was fun but it got a bit repetitive and I hoped to see more exploration of the PC. Also I think I found a bug where if I tried to turn on shields before the first round it kept on disabling them and freeing up more space to the point where the game was using negative RAM. Some better explanation would have been nice although I can't claim that I thoroughly read the instructions :).
This is a great game. It's highly addictive and I kept trying to beat my high score (even though I am really bad at it). It was also a very innovative interpretation of the theme although I found myself dying from zombies constantly rather than worrying about running out of space. I also like the art style, which was really consistent although a bit simple. Other than that, I will definetly be playing this again and I hope to see you add more mechanics and features in the game.
I love the dynamic of this game and the idea. The art is also quite good for the time limit. It was lots of fun but I'd suggest showing more information to me about how long it will take to fuel up my rocket and things like that. I also love the baby making animations and how the children grow! It's exciting to play and watch.
The idea is nice and I'd like to say the execution is the same other than one glitch, that the replies dont correspond to the option i chose, for example when i chose to support the caste system it failed without my support, and when i decided to abolish the caste system "the people believe me, total war has been avoided. Otherwise this game is awesome, i love the art and as other people have said the style is similar to Kurzgesagt. Nice idea, i'll be waiting for any updates!!!
First of all I'd like to say that this is officially the best interpretation of the small world theme, I have no idea how you came up with such an absurd yet interesting idea! The game is very fun, and i'd totally download it on my phone. I'm looking forward to any powerups or similar mechanics you might add to improve the game, because its quite simple right now. The graphics and audio are also very nice.
Innovative idea! Never seen a power business game like this before. The game got me a bit confused though, with no connection goal given (also what was the house power line thingy). Also I often misplaced a power station/generator, with no way to go back. Audio really fit the theme but the graphics were a little barebones (although it is definitely understandable in a 72 hour jam). Also really liked the intro cutscene - it was well made. Overall an interesting game with a lot of potential!
I'm speechless for this game, this is a stellar effort for 48 hours! The mechanics, the graphics, the sounds, the dialogue, EVERYTHING, was perfect. The only real feedback I am able to give is maybe to allow an option for WASD as many people are more comfortable with that. Also, maybe some hint might help out a little bit because i spent a good amount of time scratching my head and eventually gave up, but that might be just me.
A really fun game with charming graphics! Didn't really get the game at first, so I kept starving due to not eating the grey bubbles, but once I figured it out, it made way more sense. Also, is there any penalty for just holding down the hunt button? A surprising amount of strategy in a 72 hour game, with great complimenting audios and visuals and a pretty good AI. Had a lot of fun playing your game!
Nice game, its really fun! And I'd love to see better levels and graphics, but its great so far. The level/s so far might be a bit too simple, but you've already addressed that, and although it's mostly obvious, an instructions page could help.
Great game! Loved the level design which was difficult but not too hard. Kept tipping over at the ramp though - restarting on lap 2 was a little annoying. The items on the road were also very thematic and looked pretty good. The car controls were a little clunky though, as some others have already pointed out.
Overall, I had a lot of fun playing. Well done!
A really innovative and cool game! Graphics, music and sound effects really fit with the DNA theme of the game. A more detailed instructions page might be called for, as I had no idea what was going on at the beginning of the game, although it was fun to find out. Game crashed on me once (no idea why) but overall extremely fun!
This game is excellent (and very addictive), a lot of other games I've seen are way too difficult or short, but you have grasped the players attention very well. Maybe, as others have said, increasing the ufo speed may make it more engaging and also the hud may need a little improvement. But the foundations of the game are there and are very strong, I'm looking forward to any updates to this game!!!
One word: wow, especially for your first jam. Your visuals and audio are amazing as well as your game. I don't know if its just me though, but i got completely and utterly stuck like 5 minutes in and i had no idea where to go. Some tips or direction would be really helpful, but for the 48/72 hours this is great! Can't wait for any updates and to see if i can get any further next time! Also as others have addressed there's a minor typo, but that's about all I can say to improve on.
Really cool game, our game was very similar in principle but from what I can see, your execution is much better. Just one tip, maybe make it a bit more obvious how you win/lose or how to change the outcome of your meetings, i was a bit confused and stuck but other than that nice game!
