:star::star::star::star::star: Well done. I really liked the atmosphere and the theme. Although I found it a bit hard to click the boxes, it was all otherwise great! :clap:

hahah loved it! I was constantly stabbing the space bar and rarely rotating the room and was able to lead the beloved leader back to his benevolent self. Good job! :clap:
Well done! Reminds me so much of my dogs when they were pups.
Wow... trippy. I had no idea you could do this kinda stuff in Blender. Amazing. :star::star::star::star::star: :clap:
First time I ran it, nothing was happening. Nothing was spawning. Refreshed and then I had things coming at me. Very unique idea. Good job.
haha very cool little game. I like the destructible environment. It took my a bit to figure out that I needed to take them to the school but I prevailed. Good job! :clap: Check out mine.
:star::star::star::star::star:
Thanks @nolic0321! I've been improving some of those quirks. I rearranged the warehouse to make it easier to get around.
It already has it. The + and - keys.
You have to clear out the warehouse by matching and shipping.
Oh wow nice job dude!
@acronaut Thanks for the great review! I like most of your ideas and some of those ideas I have thought of. Like matching pallet types for instance. I've already started to take it to the next level but Im going to wait until the voting period ends to see where Im going with it.
Neat little game! It was hard to tell if I was doing any damage. It was more of like running around hacking wildly. The most I made was round 3.
I didn't actually play it, I watched YourBr0ther play it on twitch. I really liked it. Very unique idea and fit the theme really well. And I love doggos. :) Well done :clap:
Very nice. I love the atmosphere. Reminded me a lot of Tron. Good premise in a game. Pretty frustrating getting to those last blocks and sliding off. I'm ashamed to admit it... but I rage quit. lol Well done! :clap:
Loved every second of it! Nicely done! :clap:
I was highly satiated by this game! I played for quite a while. I think you have something here! Although I could not figure out how to earn GP and my bottles were full on the bottom and only had one slime left. I couldn't figure out where to go next. But still well done! :clap: EDIT: I figured it out. :)
Music was great, art was fantastic. Great game! Took me a while off the bat to figure out what to do. Having no credit to upgrade or activate was a real pisser. :) Well done! :clap:
Very nice little game. Pretty unique idea. I loved the music, very subtle and casual. The bloom was a bit too high and it was giving me a headache on top of the darkness. On the second level when you go into hack mode and then click the yellow node, you get a message saying "Not a power source" and if at that time you leave hack mode, that message remains. It was then I wasted 5 minutes wondering why everything I hovered over was saying not a power source. :) Good job! :clap:
@eric-smith
@pandan I was broadcasting my development all weekend on Twitch so I'm not sure if it was a coincidence but cool none the less.
@candlesan You know whats even more scary is that I was calling it Wild Fire in the beginning.
Can we please get a HTML5 build? People are too lazy to download and install. Namely me. :)
Wow this was definitely a fun little game! Well done. I would like to see this one mature. :clap:
@adrien-dittrick It's ready!
@kambing Thanks for the review! I wanted it to be real-time and not turn based. The axe men remove foliage to create fire breaks (dead zones), the hose guys dowse fire and prevent it from spreading, the engine provides water to the hose guys. The heli does the same as the hose guys but in a large radius and with more effectiveness. The police cars were added to do the whole evacuation thing but I thought that managing that PLUS trying to battle fires was too hard to play. So I changed it to a fire chief unit that gives the units effectiveness bonus for being in range. Had I more time I would have added a description or tooltip for each unit to describe its job.
@kszaku Thanks for the feedback! If your units are in a fire tile, they run the risk of getting trapped and destroyed.
@kroute Thanks for the feedback! The small dot on each unit indicates their current task. White=Idle, Green=Moving, Blue=Working.
@antt5053 Thanks! It was fun having you there. Just rated your game. :v:
@rytannic Hmm... that's a weird one. Glad you liked the game!
Thanks for the review @bificommander! Yea I know there are still some balancing issues. The game is however only 6 days old. :) The logic that determines when A fire should break out needs to be refactored a bit. And I'm not sure how to keep the logic and still not have you go into the hole right off the bat. One method could be through scenarios and challenges I'm thinking. I too feel that the hose radius is too small and plan on widening it. Fire is of course, unpredictable and it will jump from time to time. As for waiting for a fire to burn out, yea I know, and it was suggested having a time scale control to zoom through that. Or if you have some response companies you can have them put them out to earn extra cash. Wrongful death claims now only occur when a civilian dies in a fire and there IS a chief nearby.
Very cool game! I really like the premise and WWI is a not to all the time remembered war as compared to WWII. The only thing I immediately noticed were the tanks. Tanks in WWI didnt come about until the later years and they were gigantic heaps of metal that moved very slowly. Oh well. Still fun. :clap:
Fun little game here! I managed to kill all the spiders. Once I figured out that you just had to grab mushrooms, I was thinking "not enough mushrooms!' Then I figured out that they are actually in abundance. Finding the alters was really tough. Maybe a mini-map would help? It wasn't until the end I figured out that I could carry multiple spiders and once and I had no idea if certain spiders only fit in certain alters? Anyway, well done! :clap:
Nice little game. Had a hard time picking them up when directly over them for some reason. Otherwise, pretty solid! :clap:
Very nice first entry.
Moving was kind of sluggish. Maybe it was the collider was too wide? Regardless, good game!
Nice. I'm also a fan of the Synty Studios POLYGON character/environment packs! I own 4 of them.
Really fun premise. After a bit playing it I was able to figure out what to do. I thought I was supposed to go to the green circle, (still don't know of I was supposed to) but then I realized that it's actually the player gods clicking stuff? I loved that! I really felt like I was on the playing field. Also, to avoid your ragdolls from breaking apart when you die, which is really annoying, either lower the force applied to it, uncheck Enable Preprocessing and/or enable projection on the Joints using either ConfigurableJoint.projectionMode or CharacterJoint.enableProjection all on the ragdolls joints. (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/RagdollStability.html)
Pretty fun! I couldn't tell if I was supposed to move over to the xbox or the ps4 but then I couldnt move so I guessed that they were just stationary. After I shot everybody, they quit coming out. Didn't know what to do from there. The music was great but too dominant. Maybe down the volume on it's audiosource to like 0.3? great entry. :clap:
Easy game to play, hard game to master! The WSAD and X to attack was awkward. Overall good job you guys! :clap:
Good game overall. I like how you have to get killed in order to progress. I couldnt figure out what the yellow blocks were or what to do with them. I later found out they were cheese but I still didnt know what to do with them. More obvious indicators of where it does etc would be helpful. Nice job! :clap:
Wow what a great game! The art style was really good and the music it sufficiently casual. When you fail the Menu button doesnt seem to work. Nice job! :clap:
Plaz play and rate mine. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/lifeforms-in-space
The controls were hard to get used to at first but wow the art and music are amazing! I was thankful for the little hints to tell me what keys to press. Good job you guys! :clap::clap::clap:
neat little puzzle adventure!
Very impressive! I really liked the music. The fire stream would not hit the enemies most of the time and I couldnt figure out how to keep my life from draining even though I was raising dead. Good job you guys!
Plz play and rate mine. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/lifeforms-in-space
Took me a bit to figure out how the game worked but then when I got fat and stuff was dropping like crazy, it was a rush! Nicely done!
Play and rate mine plz. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/lifeforms-in-space
@mcovert You can only have 3 fleets at the moment. The strategy is to not lose them or merge them. Another strategy for a weak fleet would fly though a nebula on the way to a planet. At the moment the enemy is on a timed turn cycle per turn. And no, they dont do anything currently. I didnt have time to do it for the jam but I will be doing it post jam.
@lyrcaxis Lifeforms are the currency...
@lyrcaxis I thought this theme was terrible. I wont deny it. It wasnt really a theme, it was an IDEA from a theme. Like to me the theme should have been Life or Currency or even Life is Currency. But YOUR life is currency? :x: But in all fairness, YOUR LIFEFORMS ARE CURRENCY! :)
@cheesepencil You only get three fleets. That is the strategy of the game.
@paul59 Honestly, I don't know. That's up to you. In reality, I just do it for fun and could care less about winning. And I want others to have fun too. So if adding more hours post jam to make it fun, then what the hell. What ISN'T fun is having angry trolls lashing out in forums. :) And I'm just here for the fun.
@jimbly In the beginning, the game was a lot harder. I dumbed it down for the benefit of the jam so that people could get through the whole game.
@peterfonts It looks like you conquered all the planets but they are not colonized. There will be a blue atmosphere around the planet when you place 100 lifeforms on them. Only when they are all colonized will you win the game.
All the links were broken for me.
Great little game here! The graphics were good and the music sufficiently gamey. :) The controls were a bit hard to work and had a tough time pushing coins away but over all the idea is very cool. I like how you worked in the theme with spending your life being a coin shover. :clap:
Neat game. I like the gold piles in the center. You should make the gems look like bags of gold like they are carrying away bags of gold. I never figured out what the princess was all about. :clap:
Neat little game. It would have been nice to put some more work into the tutorial. I was just about to quit thinking I broke it until I figured out to scroll the tutorial. I had no idea what to do with the eyeballs or even how to pick them up. so all the keys and that information would have been helpful. I killed the boss but the rapid clicking is a mouse killer. I would have preferred to just hold down the mouse button to shoot. :v:
Very neat little game. Very cool concept and great idea of saving the trees. Is it an endless runner because it never ended and you just couldn't shoot fast enough to get through trees eventually. :clap:
Nicely done! As short as it was, I really had fun. Very cleverly conceived. :clap:
Neat little marble game. It took my a while to get used to the gravitational control and running jumps were really hard for me. But I did manage to collect all the noms! Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=0h53m18s
This game for me was very difficult. And I hated to love it! It is very challenging and kept haunting me and calling me to come back and play it. In fact I think I will later today. :) Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=4h34m48s
What a great little game! The physics were really fun if not a bit hard to control sometimes. Which makes this game because if not, it would have too easy. The music and sounds were great and the voice overs had me giggling. Yes and on the art, when using large images and scaling them down causes dithering on the edges which can be fixed by using Mipmaps on the import. But the graphics were well done! Thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=2h32m32s
Absolutley! Feel free to use the link where you want.
Nor should you forget that face. That's the face of a hero!
@akronsus Its amazing that you got back up in under 2 minutes.
@akronsus Very good strategy! Thanks for sharing.
@akronsus I used your strategy! Screenshot 2021-04-27 155940.jpg
@angrysandwich Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Very cool and fun game! I liked how you had different densities of the rocks making some harder to drill than others. The most I made was 209k. I loved the art style and the modeling. Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=1h18m8s
The art and music were fantastic! Cute game. The enemies were a bit hard and kept sneaking up on me. The orbs timing out and disappearing was kind of frustrating because it's your only source of attack and should never be without. Without orbs you're helpless and will inevitably die as the enemies are relentless in their pursuit. Over all well done guys and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=5h8m18s
Pretty great little game. The mouse was a bit too sensitive so I had a hard time aiming. :clap:
Cute little game. I'm kind of dumb when it comes to card games but I managed to damage myself enough to get tons of onion juice in my eyes to the point where I couldn't see anything. Fun concept and great gameplay. Thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=1h49m26s
Great graphics! I got frustrated with the obscure control scheme. Overall good job! :clap:
I loved this game! The graphics were great, the music and sounds were great and the game play was great! I really enjoyed finding and rescuing my beloved Kiki! Well done! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=1h27m16s
Art is great. I love how the planets had their own gravitational pull. I was surprised by Anna at the end. lol Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=0h34m41s
Amazing concept! I could have played for hours but unfortunately there were other games in the queue. I had some difficulty drawing with my mouse and the pentagram was the hardest. I kept getting ambushed with no warning from demon hands on the bottom right. Not all the time though. Great work and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=2h46m9s
This game was downright amazing! I really loved every minute of it. It remined me a lot of the old Tandy/Radio Shack games by Sierra like Kings Quest and Space Quest which brought back quite a few good memories. You guys did an amazing job in all areas! Thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=2h59m3s
I really liked this game. Although I suck at card games, I was having a lot of fun with this one. The music was very good and enthralling. Funny that I kept getting fired so soon. Story of my life! :D Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: :bird: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=5h25m21s
Took me a bit to figure out what to do and without the authors hints while I was playing, I would have rage quit! Nice use of doodle art! Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=4h19m11s
Very cool game. I especially liked the warp tunnel effect you came up with. It got pretty hectic the more you progressed deeper and deeper into space and the rocks relentlessly keep coming and taking out all of my stuff! Argh! Well done and thanks for sharing! :clap: :bird: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=5h52m3s
I really loved how you used your own hand drawn art in the game. I really can't say I felt anything like I was going deeper and deeper though. Just changing levels. Well done guys and thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=2h22m40s
Great game! I really could feel the anxiety of getting deeper with my limited oxygen. I had Dive Suit 4 and when you go back to the store it always says its Dive Suit 1 instead of what it really is. Good job! :clap:
I really really really liked this game! I especially liked the feel of the rifle and the kickback. The grappling was excellent fun but I really had a hard time repelling past the spikes. I don't know why. My brain just couldn't process it well! lol. But I eventually did it and beat the game and that's all that counts. Well done guys and thanks for sharing! :clap: :bird: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=6h10m15s
Not bad at all. Music was a bit tedious. Took a couple hits before I realized that black fish is bad. :clap:
I was having fun with this game until I broke it by warping from level 1 to level -30. Oops! Other than that the graphics were cool and the gameplay was good! Thanks for sharing! :clap: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003785681?t=3h28m15s
