Really like the difficult scaling. Good use of the theme. Controls felt mostly fluid. When I died, the game didn't go to a game over screen or anything (was that intentional)?
This is great! Love the pixel art. The monster is awesome. Controls felt good, and the abilities felt meaningful. Is there no sound? Really nice health meter, btw. I love the shape, and it clearly differentiates your original max, current max, and current health.
Bug? When I died, the game just sat there, and I couldn't find a way to restart. Ended up having to tab away from full screen and quit the app.
@vuvuzuellainc Thanks, appreciated. @synystercola and @trevor-shoe thanks guys and no we didn't have time to make a death scene or restart functionality. I will update the description.

I like the controls and the balance of your game. Also, you hit the theme well. Due to the missing sound it feels a bit empty. But overall, good work.
What a great game! It definitely could've benefited from some audio, and there being no ending when you die was odd, but otherwise great game! Certainly can't fault you for not having those things given the time constraint.
I enjoyed it. I do have a question, though. Is there sound being played? I heard some wooshing that seemed to fit what was happening, but no actual sound.
Had a lot of fun! I enjoy your unique take on the theme as well.
If you move with arrows (right hand) buy and attach are find on the left (left hand), but if you move with WASD (left hand) buy and attach should be on the other side for the right hand, but there is no option for this.
shame there was no audio -- would have really helped -- overall very solid game -- controls were a bit floaty but not too bad -- attack system also felt a little loos as well -- perhaps if you added some impact to the hits -- thanks for making this game
The controls take some time to get used to, and lack of sound is noticeable, but I love the look of the shop keeper, and the AI of the enemies. Feels like you guys run out of time same way we did, and there is something great behind it! Hope you'll work on it some more after the jam because it has potential.
Cool character design for the It. I enjoyed the game but the lack of all sound made me feel funny. I got to a point in the game when I died and feel into the third shop at the same time. The character just kept on swiping while moon walking into a corner and I was stuck, but the life bar still had life in it. All in all, good job!
I wanted all the powerups though! Nice game guys. I thought that the finality of decisions was a nice touch, no going back once you chose to buy an upgrade. My issue with the game came mostly from the controls so I won't belabor the point. Basically as a WASD boi it is really hard to get a good sense of control from arrow keys. You provided both which is lovely but only x and z for actions. This meant that I had to play with the arrow keys (which I'm bad at) or to stop moving to attack. My suggestion would be to add some alternative keys like j and k for those of us who play WASD. Great entry none the less!
Easy game to play, hard game to master! The WSAD and X to attack was awkward. Overall good job you guys!
@sondrian It was also difficult for me to play with x and z / arrow keys. And audio could really help set the atmosphere. But the game fits the theme, and I loved the "it" design!
Controls on WASD feel weird. And no sound is a shame. But otherwise good job. Art looks nice.
Very tight platformer, had a lot of fun with this. Classic enemy types with good variety, lovely and cute pixel art with great general art direction but the best thing was the really well implemented upgrade system. I especially like the distinction between hp and defence, makes for interesting choices! Jumping maybe felt a bit floaty and would have loved some sound, but those are my only nit-picks. Edit: Just discovered the balls can bounce each other around, fantastic!
Fun platformer! I went with the arrow keys for movement, and I found this to be much easier as I had better control over my attacks. The upgrades really do give you a lot of extra power, which is nice when fighting the ceiling-shooty guys and the jumping blobs. It seems like a lot of work was put into enemy variety and enemy abilities. The floating orbs attack in a really unique and cool way. Definitely kept me on my toes! Great entry!
Awesome game. Started trying to speed run it at some point. Challenging and balanced!
I like the graphics, and the game was responsive, but I had to stop due to the control layout. I think audio would really give this game the kick it needs!
Fun idea that was communicated quite well via just the gameplay. Great job on that especially. Controls felt a little slidey and floaty unfortunately. I appreciated having space as jump, but would have preferred having the other actions mapped to the other side of the keyboard. It was a little wonky having the controls (particularly attack) all scrunched together in one place.
