LD44 — Your life is currency

Almost free by Listonos 2019-05-01T01:42:27Z

I enjoyed it. I do have a question, though. Is there sound being played? I heard some wooshing that seemed to fit what was happening, but no actual sound.

The Necromancer Saga: Endless Dungeons by frankitox16 2019-04-30T23:59:07Z

Very tough, but I like the concept. Nicely done

Myrrh by bwalter 2019-04-30T19:01:25Z

I enjoyed the graphics and the general feel of the game. Very impressive for a Compo game.

Aging Toads by ristoretto 2019-04-30T22:45:39Z

I appreciated the tutorial. It didn't take long but it got the basics down. Got to a score of 55 on my second try.

You life is just currency! by alexhonor 2019-04-30T22:13:32Z

It's hard to make a clicker-game likable, but this seems like the perfect theme to make one. Good job

Windows XP and whips, something every successful company needs.

To Health and Back by boaheck-artgent 2019-04-30T23:55:18Z

Very well put together, also gets very challenging. I would've liked an option to skip the dialogue after going through it once, though. Good job.

The Reaper by fixedgerald 2019-04-30T02:50:23Z

Good job with the music. I noticed the far right shop in the third level doesn't quite work. It clearly asks for 10, but it says 10 isn't enough.

Keep Life Alive by Koen Bresters 2019-04-30T10:25:54Z

I love the concept. Reminds me of a game I used to play back in the day. Sadly my planets keep dying. I think because the tree score goes negative?

Cloudwalker by JLV 2019-04-30T23:11:30Z

I was a bit uncertain about playing this with a mouse, but I am glad I sticked to the end. Nice job.

The art is amazing. Instantly understood the game's core mechanics. Good job

VALLHELL! by Shuskey 2019-04-30T21:53:55Z

I found it more efficient to just hop my way to the portals rather than actually fighting the enemies. Nicely made models.

Tetris: Tempo by Valid 2019-05-01T00:41:26Z

Took me awhile to get used to the controls, so I switched them. I love that feature, by the way. Managed to get top 3 on my second try, after figuring out what buying was.

Forgotten Keep by burst 2019-04-30T21:39:13Z

The controls are really intuitive and feel flawless. I like that unlocked regions stay unlocked. Nice job.

Good job anon

I enjoyed the theme and feel of the game a lot, although the speed was a bit too slow. I wasn't sure where to go and walking around took quite awhile.

More Power, Less Life! by DrSomma 2019-04-30T02:58:02Z

The sprites for the arena are really nice. I was wondering how the second character was controlled, turns out it was the controller. I guess I could've known if I read the text.

Thanks @sholyu, Procedural levels were on the long list of unimplemented features. I had to cut and choose to finish this, but I appreciated the time limit at the same time. Usually I don't get beyond coding initial gameplay.
