LD44 — Your life is currency

Shinigami's new assignment by Sun-Wukong 2019-04-30T13:37:20Z

Really cute art and I like the theme, but sadly the level design combined with the enemies and zoomed in camera make for a pretty frustrating experience, especially all the random leap of faiths that are required to get some of the souls. The jump is also a bit stiff and trying to hit the crows can be very annoying too.

I overall liked it but it would have helped if you polished it up by having less levels that are better designed instead of having a bunch of mediocre levels. More dialogue during the cutscenes would have also been nice.

Pretty fun and polished with great presentation, but how much you need to click to progress is a bit much. Would have been nice if the speed at which you automatically gained cultists and or how much you got per click would have been higher with potential upgrades.

The Legend of the Peixaralho by ShadowKitsune 2019-04-30T01:57:22Z

Sadly I can't try this out with a friend, but the main idea about it would be fun if it was a bit more fleshed out and balanced

The fact that you hit yourself while moving forward and firing would definitely be very annoying however!

Battin' Bats by DigiGee 2019-04-30T02:09:03Z

I like just about everything except the controls, extremely slippy and unresponsive tank controls don't fit all that well with an action game and sadly I couldn't enjoy the game very much because of them.

So close to being great!

@yazara If you try to buy an item that costs more than how much money you currently have you do end up dying and restarting.

I didn't end up having enough time to put in some proper animations, menus or tutorials in the game to properly explain it all sadly.

Pretty fun! The enemy pathfinding and hitboxes are bit dodgy, with encounters where multiple enemies are present usually resulting in the enemies getting stuck behind each other. It's also possible to hit enemies behind fences and such while they are stuck behind there.

I would have liked it if you could keep playing when you run out of money, but just be unable to leave after saving the dog. That was something that I would have expected after reading the menu and dialogue.
