Where is mommy? by jQnas 2017-05-01T16:00:07Z
@schiapu the girl has a stress meter (you'll hear a louder heartbeat). It goes up while in the dark and down when in light. Once it reaches a critical point she runs back to the last light touched.

Could not run it on Linux in fullscreen mode. (Mouse clicks are always in the center for some reason) Had to start it with "-screen-fullscreen 0"
But otherwise fun and creative game!
Very innovative! Great looking! Good game.
Got stuck after triggering the elevator (I think i was supposed to take it?)
I granted all the wishes. Killing and resurrecting Zombiebirds to infinity. Fun game!
Fun game. Could have been a bit longer e.g. by zooming based on your size. Also the camera transitions could have been a bit smoother.
Fun little puzzle game.
Wait its over already? We want more!
Also aiming was weird.
Good first game. Interesting art style.
Cool little puzzler. I found it too easy to fall of the edge.
Is it even possible to get a good time and not kill anyone?
Great graphics and audio! The boost control feels a bit clunky to use.
Interesting read. Would have liked more pathways for the story to go.
Good first try. I found the random enemy spawns very frustrating sometimes.
Fun little game. Altough it gets repetetive real fast.
Theme is fitting very well! Had a good time herding the penguins.
Very funny. Would like to have this as a complete game with better graphics.
Controls on WASD feel weird. And no sound is a shame. But otherwise good job. Art looks nice.
Found it very hard to collect any money because of the slow movement. Also some kind of background texture would make it look a lot better. Otherwise good job.
Great game. Love the amount of minigames I should probably not become a doctor.
Solid game. Kiting with ranged weapons seems to work too good.
@sigod Child nodes only exist for: - Sequence - Parallel - Selector - Repeat - Not - Interupt
When a child node is mandatory the plus icon is always visible. Just drag a behaviour onto it. For Sequences etc. additional plus icons appear when you hover over its box.
@pythooonuser I added a cheat link that has the tree as seen in the screenshot. You can play with that (but don't start with nothing anymore)
@toc I added some explanation. Hope that helps.
@nj-vs-valhalla I changed the order of the behaviours in the side panel to make a bit more sense. We would have liked to visibly put them in different categories like - Perception - Movements - Actions - Meta
but there was no time left.
Game looks great!
Movement controls are a bit too unresponsive, especially when moving over the void with the moving platforms.
Really liked the atmosphere... but then game crashed for me too when going for the open door. :( (web version Firefox on Linux)
@gameag In the Submission Version when reaching the goal planet the indicator is just wrong and nothing really happens. This and the controls are changed in the Post-Jam Version. It now uses the scroll-wheel to change the velocity.
@adiwan It was supposed to reset you to the last stable orbit you were in. Sadly that somehow broke in the submission Version (It thinks the crash location is a stable orbit position). We also fixed that in our Post-Jam Version. You can then either go safe and slow down every other planet to go into a stable orbit around it (moving your save-point forward) or speed trough multiple planets risking to crash into one and reset further back.
@bmacintosh Fix coming soon. In the meantime you can just place 2 charcoal burners next to each other. They were supposed to get bonus production when clustered but instead do nothing when alone.
Nice platforming game. General platforming felt good. But when hitting enemies you get thrown around a lot. Sound & Music fit well. I could see this being a longer game with a few more mechanics introduced in later levels.
Good Job!
Got through the free payed trial and my brain now hurts too. Good puzzler!
@wizcas You need the yellow keycard from the left-upper side. To get there you need the rocket boots to get over the gap.
@puyo its a RGB puzzle. There are 4 ways to change the open state of the 3 last doors of which you need to use at least one (can be more as its a bit random which doors are open at the start)
@otterfaelure You won! :)
@shallowkong Blobs get slower as they grow larger. To not snowball AI enemies actually wont grow much larger than the largest player on that server. The game is multiplayer so for a good challenge find yourself another human.
@ira-baciu You enter your LD-Jam username and we COLLECT your game for our hex-grid. It will be placed on a free tile near the center.
We use the same API this site uses e.g. https://api.ldjam.com/vx/node2/get/419397 to get data about this entry
@seven-z you can zoom out more now. Also ?max-zoom=600 as query parameter allows even more!
@mikhailne funny that you ask, we already had that functionality for testing as not a lot of games were published yet just add a query param to the url with `jam=
We did reset the database for release so almost nothing is placed.
@antti-haavikko The "game" part of it is the awards and ratings, we had some more ideas to collect more information (dialogue style) but couldn't fit it in.
The "Game not found ..." error is a caching issue that we could not completely get rid of. But it should only prevent the tile that game is placed on to load temporarily, until the cache is invalidated.
Do you mean the panning itself? The grid does not generate more empty tiles that are too far away from any placed game tile. Currently only 204 games where placed on the hexgrid.
@thadev @nomelu On the selected game click the "Award a Trophy" Button and then on the popup select the awards you want to give. You can give one of each but not to yourself (your game).
Nice complete puzzler. As others mentioned already controls could be improved.
I like it. Getting CD to 0.5s is op.
