absolutely love the concept, but sadly the I did not understand the folding bag puzzle with the holes. The puzzle before that I solved by simply walking back and forth to scout out the puzzle and accidentally solved it doing that, so I think I lost crucial understanding in what the numbers at the bottom meant, I tried a few options but sadly didn't manage anything specific. Even so, love the idea and love the concept! I'd love a minigame of this on steam, like just an hour of good puzzling 10/10

@landerack thank you for playing! that level is definitely trickier than the first two, so, here's something to help you and other peeps out:
Hint for Level 4
(Level 4 is the first level with holes) !> You have to hit the buttons in numerical order, 1 then 2 then 3. The sequence you have pressed is shown on the floor in each room. Just following the holes will take you 1 to 3 to 2. You have to move each bag to the correct room so that using the bags to travel between them will take you from 1 to 2 to 3. You may get the button order off by one or two, so that you hit them 2,3,1 or 3,1,2. you can use the holes to fix that offset, because pressing any 3 buttons will reset the sequence. For level 6 you have to plan it out more, and if you get off by one you have to restart.
hope that helps! remember that you can restart a level by pressing R. and if you need another hint for this level or any other level i'm happy to write more!

My brain hurts from all of this. Amazing concept. Very clever.
The game was definitely fun, and very challenging, it had the whole bag thing and then on top of that you had to figure out where you put your bags especially on level 4. Which I thought was very hard, but a little much a little too quick
The art was really good, the only problems I saw with the art was the transitions were buggy sometimes and sometimes it cut out the transition before it was done. There were also a couple times were the the circle fade was behind the room.
The main issue was I was having trouble figuring out what button to use and had to basically always look at what came up, and also the area where you could press the button on the rope sometimes got caught up where a bag was which annoyed me.
But with all that it was a nice game very challenging!
This is such a fun idea! I felt like I was thrown into the puzzles a touch too fast, definitely would have enjoyed a slower build up.
But seriously, awesome idea, please keep working on it.
Great game! Amazing mechanic and really smart puzzles!
Got through the free payed trial and my brain now hurts too. Good puzzler!

A really unique, innovative take on the theme. And not only is the core idea incredibly clever, everything else just further improves on the experience : the fun level design, the witty writing, the engaging music, the whimsical, lighthearted atmosphere. All of it just screams polish and personnality.
Great work on this little gem. If you ever decide to make it a full, standalone game, i'd play the hell out of it.

@fraanns @heyllopotato @bamallama @sam-machell @faithcaio @whismirk @oligue @stefan-laimer @dalloner @labete thanks y'all for playing!! i really appreciate all the comments. ive seen a couple suggestions to develop a full game, which i was thinking about doing anyways. so if you're interested, and have an itch.io account, please consider [giving me a follow](https://itch.io/login?return_to=https%3A%2F%2Fben-m.itch.io%2F&intent=follow_user) for updates! making good puzzles is tough and i'd really love to have some feedback as i continue to create them and learn.

It's hard to craft a puzzle game that feels rewarding yet still challenging at any time, but to do it in a period of two or three days is certainly a feat to behold! Great work!

For some reason on the "Someone's at the door" level (2?) after I picked up the key I couldn't get out. E was shown, but pressing did nothing ... reset and tried again with the same result. Love the look and feel of this. The music is awesome and suits the text. @ me if you find out why I couldn't get out.

That was a really interesting entry. Nice game concept and execution. Not too difficult for me actually because I'm a fan of puzzle games, but the level difficulty was a little bit off. Some earlier levels felt harder than later levels for me, but that could just have been me getting into the mechanics more. Would have loved to have more levels to play to be honest. I'm not sure what happened with the end screen where you could walk around infinitely.
There is actually not much to complain about the game because the controls are well implemented, the graphics are nice and the music is really relaxing, perfectly for a puzzle game. The story is also funny, but as already mention I would have loved more levels and more story.
Very good entry for the game jam. Going to follow you in case of an update 😉
Nice nice nice! This looks like it must have been a major time suck to figure out how to code this! I ran into 0 bugs so this is a great entry. I enjoyed the puzzles and it was a rather unique experience. This is gold! I had fun. Well done!
**+** creative take on theme
**+** good art and fitting music
**+** clever puzzles
**-** the lofi noise is a bit too clicky
**-** I wanted an easier way to track which bag I was in
**-** could use some more easing-in levels or text prompts for certain concepts (e.g. the bag loop)
Love the entry. A "fractal puzzle" like this was one of my favored ideas going into the jam, but I couldn't find a fun spin on it.
You succeeded at that.

We enjoyed playing this a lot! The two kids on our team found it way easier than the one adult, who couldn't even figure out he had to pick up one of the sacks on the first level! Very tricky and challenging puzzles but we loved that. Also the graphics and music were great!

@doc-kaos if i understand you correctly i think it wasnt clear enough that you cant take items up the rope out of a bag, so you have to figure out how to get the key to the door by only taking items into bags. if you mean opening the door with the key didnt work, then oops! thats a bug :)) anyways, thanks for playing!
@backurio i really wish i had allocated my time better because i have a lot of ideas for more puzzles, as well as ways to introduce the mechanics more gradually. hoping to get your feedback again on the post-jam version!! thanks for playing!
@no-grapes-games yeah i lost a lot of sleep on this lmao. glad you enjoyed it!!
@rovernoon good suggestions, all things i will keep in mind when working on the full game. thanks for playing!
@panurge that makes me happy to hear lol, thanks to y'all for playing!

Good idea. Just one complaint: the reset button is too close to an action button and I accidentally reset the level multiple times :-(
Allowing players to take objects into bags but not take objects out of bags was a really interesting limitation that took the puzzles to the next level. Overall this was just a super creative premise, good job!
Really creative take on the theme, and super interesting puzzles!
I felt so smart on that second level when I realized I had to take one bag into the other!
I do think the difficulty ramps up a little too quick. I'm notoriously bad at puzzles, and by the 4th level I was completely stuck.
Amazing job!

@hybitous soon :wink:
@kromeboy ah sorry you had trouble with that, ill make sure to change that in the full version
@dninosores glad you enjoyed it! thanks for playing!
@andrewkennedy thank you!! there is a hint for level 4 if you scroll up in the comments, it may help you
I really liked that game. Would be great to add more levels :D
Really fun (and funny) little game! I liked the interpretation of the theme as well as the clever puzzles. It's so confusing but it feels really satisfying to figure them out. Also the audio, graphics and overall atmosphere was really whimsical and cartoony and I liked that a lot (although I think the walking sound was a bit annoying). Maybe also being able to peek into the sacks before entering them would be nice (to avoid getting stuck all the time :D). Good job!

@bender-biber thanks for playing! ill definitely be working on a full version of the game with more levels, so if you're interested you can follow my itch.io page [here](https://ben-m.itch.io/)
@jandourek thank you! thats a great suggestion, ill have to try to think of a good way to implement that.
Very unique! Great application of math. The art direction could merge more of the sound and the visual graphics. More of jazz you know. Take a look at that jazz experimental game: https://jottesen.itch.io/jazz-in-black-and-white Maybe in sepia colours. It was a great experience! I will follow you in itch.

"and other brain ticklers!" -> so "THE END" is really the end or is there something? I found a very suspicious looking yellow "building" (or wall or whatever) in the last level and went off in every direction for atleast 30 secs before resetting. Couldn't find anything.
