Very nice game! Intuitive controls, retro shooting elements and nice implementation of the spaceship's power control. It's funny that it mentions the Civilization Kardashev scale :)

Nice effects and the map was built in a cool way. Audio and visuals worked great together and it looked like a good and complete package. Controls take a while to get used to, steering with the mouse felt slightly strange at first but it worked well with the shooting.
UI could have been a little bit more finished, I felt it was hard to tell if I was taking damage at all at some points.
Good job!
Very nice game, it was fun to play.
Quite a nice entry i gotta say, and that intro was really funny "we are going to build a sphere..." hmm that sounds familiar ? :p
**Positive things** - The controls were sharp and responsive and i like that you guys went for the modern WASD take on"asteroids" type controls - The graphics were really good, i dig the pixel art, and the little intro was really a plus - The music was cool and fitted the game well
**Negative things :** - My only gripe is that i experienced some serious slowdowns in some areas (WebGL version) whenever there was smoke or a large number of sprites on screens
Other than that, that's quite a solid entry and it was fun to try out ^^
Some feedbacks missing, but quite nice to play
I can't seem to play in either Chrome or Firefox, the intro hungs at the end (I will destroy their mining bases!) so I can't rate, I'm afraid. But I'll give you this, the intro seemed quite funny to me, because of the art and how you made the "stupid mass" the evil enemy, thumbs up for that!
I loved the intro, it really hooked me up and made me laugh. I liked the visuals very much, the variety of enemies and the map.. I was actually thinking about making game like this by myself.
I had just 2 thinks I didn't like that much - Controls - for me it was very difficult to flip the controls by the rotation of the ship - Sound Effects - It would be nice to a have a crash sound upon my projectile impact. It kinda stole my feeling from shooting as I heard the launch of the projectile but I missed so much the sound of the projectile hitting something.
I had some really fun moments with the game; the biggest highlight for me was the big station, bringing it down was fun as well as avoiding all the missiles that were being shot at me! Oh and I love spinning around in circles, it feels very satisfying.
I had some feedback issues though: 1) sometimes I was getting hit by projectiles but i'm not sure if they were being registered 2) My craft would shoot random green projectiles, when I was not pressing the mouse button. I was using the web version of the game. Besides that, a pretty solid game; good job guys!
For me WebGL version worked fine in Chrome. I liked visual art style, especially big spaceships. Sound is good as well.
Nice entry :)
Great gem! Loved the shield mechanic, audio fits in perfectly, and i seriously love the grain effect ties the graphics so nicely together! :D
Took me a while to realize that my max energy was tied with my health, before that I thought that I was imortal LOL, the movement is realy interesting and after you get the hang of it feels very nice. Got a lil bug where it was going the wrong direction when I pressing "W" (it was going backwards) and on the WebGL version it is buggy to hold the mouse button to keep firing. Great and solid game man.
The game is cool, the art is simple but looks great, the music is really well made and give the vibe that the game needs, I think that the spaceship could be a little bit bigger, but I liked this game
I have weird conflicting feelings about the controls, since it totally made sense for the Asteroids-type style you were going for, but I just couldn't get used to them for the life of me which was a little disorienting.
The intro was pretty funny though, and the graphics were really good! Audio was simple but got the job done, so it was solid. Overall, good work!
The music nicely matched the theme of the game. And the dust particle effects looked quite nice. The shooting could be a bit more speedy but otherwise well done.
Really fun little game, with interesting idea and nice graphics. Opening scene was fun, but lucks sound. Steering is awesome, one of the best I've seen so far. It would be nice if ship would get damaged after hitting asteroids. Really fun game.
I uploaded my gameplay of this game on youtube, you can find it here

Thanks for being part of the stream :)
Very well polished game. The difficulty jumps quite a lot on the second base and the hitboxes on the asteroids a bit too big so they were a bit annoying to navigate through. I like the music and sound effects.
This game if good. Very polished
Really nice game! The first thing that comes to mind is that is really huge, it's incredible what your team made in 72 hours! The AI of the enemies is really hard enough to make the game fun to play and replay, at the beginning i expected a game where the main object is going from point a to point b not colliding with any asteroid, but is really much better that that! The game is quite polished, but could use some more feedbacks to the user (make the hits more noticeable, from or to the player). The graphics are really good and perfect for the genre! The controls were quite difficult to adapt to for me. For example, I expected that with A my ship sould always go to the left (but probably is a personal preference). The game could be "broken" by always shooting the bases from the distance and using the enemy projectiles to help the aiming. Overall is a really good game, for me is way above the average of this LD, it have some things that could use some work, but that's totally normal for a jam, and is actually a lot of fun to play, great Job!
That was brilliant, thanks! The audio and graphics are great and the ship controls felt good. Bigger explosions would make it even better!
Great Entry! I was really surprised at the movement, that the ship actually moves perpendicular to where you're currently looking at with the A/D Keys. After getting used to it, it was really fun getting to avoid enemies bullets, while strafing and shooting them yourself.
The penalty for getting hit is a great idea too, reminds me alot of Continuum. It really forces the player to play well. The art is great, lovely animations too. The sound effects do a great job at telling you what's happening.
The soundtrack is good, however it distorts heavily at times.. please fix this
My only other issue is that some attack patterns are really tight to pass through, since there are often multiple attacks going on at once i would increase the gap of those balls some more.
The difficulty level is nicely balanced, rewarding good gameplay. So the upgrades feel very deserved and you're really glad to be getting upgrades.
Overall this has been the best LD game i've played so far. Those controls...great stuff!! It feels tight and responsive.
EDIT: The browser version had a huge framedrop so i immediately grabbed the standalone. Didn't happen afterwards. Oh how could i forget about the Nebula, it's also rewarding the player to get himself into dangerous situations because his power doesn't recharge as fast.
Asteroids hitboxes are too large!
You guys have a good sense of game design and i wish you all the best on your future projects.
Wow, this looks really polished!
My main complete was the controls, because they were relative to the ship and not the screen (they were responsive otherwise). Also, SOme feedback when you don't have enough power to shoot would be welcome.
Other than that, it was great. The sounds were good, the graphics and the effects also…
Wow wow wow, really fun to play, graphics are real good and music is excellent ! Good work !
Nice entry! Very impressive jam! I have a few problems with it, the game is very heavy, at least for my computer, the hitboxes are pretty weird in my opinion. A bit too big I think. And it was not really clear to me how I got damaged. As far as I could tell, I was not being hit, but then suddenly my energy drops to 0. But all in all, with some polishing this could become a very fun game!
Game seems great but runs very slowly for me and pauses for a long time at the end of the intro. Also, the collisions seemed very strange because I couldn't fit into a hole 2x the size of me. Great music and art other than that!
Hey that was fun, I liked the fact that it was a shooter but had a slightly open world feel instead of scrolling or fixed screen style. Controls confused me at first because I was expecting keyboard only style asteroid controls, but once i adjusted it worked well. Art was nicely done and the music was really good. Minor things: Some sound on the intro would have been nice. Also in the asteroid field there was some kind of visual grainy effect that popped in and out sort of suddenly that felt a bit weird. Overall great job though.
This is interesting shooter, but the player is invincible?
glad I could turn on a dime and stop in a split second or else I would've crashed many times. lol I'm not sure if my shield was also tide to my overall power so I could've died if I ran out of power and then got shot, guess I managed to managed the resources correctly? :D Aesthetics fit in very well with the space theme, music was enjoyable and I like how it appear to ramp up when I went into battle, and sound was subtle without getting in the way.
Wow! You guys had found a time extender or something like that? How could you make something as big in a short LD time? XD Art and music are amazing, and gameplay is hard but efficient! I like the idea that your life/power is also your fight limit, but I can't say more because I'm afraid to be so bad at these kind of game that I didn't manage to destroy more than the first station before being crashed by turrets. Very good job!
Really like this game!
The world looks massive, enemy bases are diverse and mining ships make it livelier! Great work on this one!
I couldn't tell why my power drops to zero and wasn't recovering, but I don't lose a game. My guess is that when you get hit, it decreases you max energy limit.
I Recently played your game during a live stream at your request. You can find the video [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEKsM8vugRs) .
I really liked the graphics and the game play was fun. Solid entry! My only advice is that on the web avoid using mouse clicks for action while using mouse for movement. It seems that the game wouldn't always trap the mouse input and the webpage would try to handle it. This cause my controls to get "stuck" sometimes. I was able to play the game I just had to be careful not to click and drag at the same time.
if you haven't already please give my game a try [Zombie Power Station](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/zombie-power-station) HTML5 Thanks
I like this open map design, with the transporters casually flying between stations, and being able to fly around wherever you want. Took me a while to realize I should follow the arrows around the ship. I battled with a far too strong station in the beginning. It got a lot more fun once I realized, that I could strafe with A/D, somehow just used W before that... There was sometimes a random fog like effect over the screen, that I assume should be linked to the fog on the map, but it appeared at completely arbitrary times...
