It was such a relief to find an exit! Good job, thank you for your entry!

Theme, humor, mood, audio are awesome as always! Graphics has special spirit of programmers art :) Gameplay is hard, I feel there should be some balancing done to be more forgivable.
Great game, nice sounds and graphics! Definitely hit the theme! Reminded me Portal a bit. Great work!
For me WebGL version worked fine in Chrome. I liked visual art style, especially big spaceships. Sound is good as well.
Nice entry :)
Nice ambient music and atmosphere overall! Controls are hard a bit. Solid entry overall.
PS: I like noise post-process :)
Totally simulates my usual morning :). Absence of moving backwards adds lot of hardcore to this game.
@gao-ming You inspired me to revive my port to MacOS! So, see link of the port in description. Hope you will have fun :)

Your robots are cute, I like animation! Music is awesome. Hope to play version with fixed mechanics - game has potential.
Dialogs and music sets despair atmosphere. I like art style as well. Nice entry and great hit of the theme!
Introduce binary representation of meshes. Parsing obj files at load time is not an option for large projects.
The movements were fine in my case. Do you multiply your speed on dt between frames?
Be aware of dt problems in physics simulation at the beginning of your engine development. To get stable physics you need to do some tricks with your dt. You can read more here: https://gafferongames.com/post/fix_your_timestep/
While designing my own engine, lot of inspiration I got in data-driven design. Probably best resource on it: https://blog.molecular-matters.com/
Keep going - hope to see actual game on LD40 :)
Oh, that sound of falling bear! :) Highscore is missing indeed.
Simple and nice, good work.
As it was above - **DAT BLUR**!!!
No, really - blur/bloom time has passed by and we need to move forward. For god sake graphics programmers understand this nowadays and they use them in right places.
Overall, short and fun game, reminded me Gothic times. It was my dream to create third person exploration project like this, so thanks for inspiration!
Good job!
Music and atmosphere are awesome. I wish to have logging system indeed and some tutorial.
Nice graphics and audio. Agree with @baben - a bit of work need to be done with camera when you move backwards. For some reason, after pressing "R" game starts from very beginning. Intended?
Nice work overall :)
I was able to score 3000 points :)
Nice mechanics with torch. Good job! As was said before, find an artist and make game faster. I feel that this game needs some end-point purpose.
Humor and mood are awesome. I like cute graphics style as well. After score 130 it is really hard to get proper speed when you was hit. I wish to have more options in this case:)
Good job overall!
Story telling, sounds, camera filter are great! Thanks for the entry.
Theme and mood are awesome!
@random-storykeeper Could you please provide name of video card? Video driver must support opengl 3.3 in order to run. I'll add additional check to inform user that hw is not supported.
@ursagames Thank you for feedback! We made it in such way that it is chance dependent - as in real life :). My current result is 40-50% chance to win. Helmet helps a lot though.
@hhsaez yes, inertia was intended because of swimming :) Thank you for your feedback.
@random-storykeeper thank you for your answer. According to Intel, HD 3000 supports up to OpenGL 3.1, but not 3.3 version. I will address this problem for future LD and add minimal specs to description of this entry.
@random-storykeeper I made special build for you with OpenGL 3.1 support. You can try it by the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByIVB-Hif3M1UTRiQnNKbC1kc0U/view?usp=sharing
Tell me if it works for you.
Thanks!
@gao-ming You inspired me to revive my 1.5 year old port to MacOS! So, see link in description :)
@will-walters thanks you for your feedback - critics are always welcome. Spawning in danger zone was made on purpose - with helmet you can hide in organics without damage.
I like graphics. Unfortunately on my 3440x1440 screen menu is almost unreadable, so it took me a minute to realize that I'm already in menu :)
I like polished mechanics. Didn't manage to finish last level after "you win". I liked that it is possible to find an exit without light at all :)
Guy with headphones is cool, but other stuff are well described above in comments. Hope to see your finished project on LD40!
Fun idea, but it really needs restart from current level - not from the first one. Passed to 3-rd level, was bitten by dogs 5 times :)
Unforgiving and difficult, but nice! Need to check it again in the morning after good sleep.
I played it at night and it scared me, so you managed to create that creepy feeling - 5 stars for the mood :)
This game is awesome!
Sound, graphics and lalalalala made my day! I feel that this game stop being challenging after day 10, on day 13 I do not know what to do. What about this machine upgrades? If they are not infinite than there should be some response to that fact (levels, something).
Keep going - it has great potential!
I enjoyed playing your game a lot! What a story telling! Every character have something to say to you. Thank you for this entry - your project cheered me up for today :)
Hello turtle guy (and the rest of the team)! Congrats on the game and emscripten test!
Controls feels good, gas/weight mechanics indeed fits the theme well.
I think that it would be nice to mark pit stops somehow.
Nice entry overall.
Go check my game - I do my own engine as well (do not want to spam with links, just check my profile)
Hello! Hope you are doing well :)
Story rich game with nice puzzles and genius music! Liked it a lot - congrats!
I managed to finish the game. I really liked gameplay, very nice game mechanics! Sound of death is awesome ^_^
Few bugs, but nothing important. Solid entry - congrats :)
Very nice clicker/cat manager simulator! I like graphics, animations, sound and humor. Awesome work!
Nice work. Got 20 points. Sound would add more atmosphere!
Audio is hilarious :) Art style is nice.
I wish to see which tools gramma holds at least in UI.
Nice entry overall!
Wow, just WOW.
On the GO from scratch? Very nice!
Theme is clear and it was definitely fun to play! Graphics is nice. Style reminded me Wolfenstein 3D because of controls. Congrats!
Nice entry!
Got 50 kills. Graphics looks very polished, controls are a bit confusing though.
I saw Walter White, I swear :) Nice game, cool concept. Enjoyed playing it.
My fleet was 20 at the end!
I liked simple and understandable game mechanics. Sound was good as well.
Clever gameplay mechanics, I liked it! Relaxing music and nice art style.
Very nice idea, music and art!
Game sets atmosphere of upcoming Christmas.
Cute game!
I got a bug that I can't click on hungry kitten some times.
Overall nice entry! Congrats!
Nice art! Physics could be better - I was unexpectedly sliding on branches. It would be good to mark branches as game objects since it is not very clear that you can jump on them. Music is good.
Good entry overall! Congrats team! :)
@lugdumdare-team Thanks for feedback!
Reverse works that way because snail will have direct path over circle in this case :)
@jjjjason Thank you for your feedback!
About general experience with own engine: I did not invest enough time to test all new features implemented for this jam, so it was bug fixing on the run along with changing concept. As consequence it was not much time for final polish. We got our experience and very happy that this situation was not on production stage of big project :)
Overall we are happy with results.
@svarttand thank you for your feedback!
Agree about controls, unfortunately it was not enough time for polishing. I beat this game on 4th try today and I know how ghost AI works, design of level etc. :)
@angriestscv Can you try to run it under Wine? Should work AFAIK.
@lazard Could you please provide your system setup?
Very nice! I laughed when I saw cars were flying around after crash :) Driving feels nice, probably mini map would be nice addition since it was hard to find base sometimes Agree about lack of audio - would add more fun.
My high score was 800 :)
Nice audio track, clean graphics.
Probably left corner is not best place for high score. Wouldn't be better to put it somewhere under car?
Controls feels smooth, music is nice. Keep going with the game. Awesome entry! Can agree about lack of challenge - it seems that I do not really need to swing my katana to kill enemies :)
Greetings from Kiev :)
Nice atmosphere and art style, good work with camera jitter. Nice entry overall - keep it up.
Bloody mess on the floor! :)
I liked intro, controls, work with camera jitter on hit. Animations looks nice and smooth. Music is nice as well - atmospheric.
Unfortunately I have only 2 controllers, so I was not able to fully test this game.
I'm win!!!
Found that ball doesn't make any difference - it doesn't stop cats :(
But nice humor - I like the game!
I would love to see your build under Windows or Mac! :)
That was hilarious!
Amazing core mechanics, audio, graphics, humor. This entry definitely deserves top marks!
Very nice entry, I was impressed that you accomplished such polished game in such limited time!
I really like general puzzle idea, but game lacks connection to theme. Very innovative though!
Found myself playing it for 20 minutes, which is very nice result for LD game. Congrats - very nice gameplay.
Very solid and polished game! Just read your graphics breakdown - simple solutions that just works. Amazing. Congrats!
This game rocks! Very nice music, especially taking into account that you played that theme by yourself. There was a bug when no enemies spawned at all. Very dynamic and thematic entry - nice work.
Very nice entry! I loved base gameplay.
**Creatures are guessing! Take attention to environment! You need to guess what creature in the darkness as well based on environment! Sorry for not making it clear!**
@kegnarok you can throw torchligh to see them :)
@dexp hints will tell you that he is scared of fire. We wish to have more time to make it less confusing, though :) thanks for feedback.
I enjoyed to play this game! Very nice work for first platformer.
Very nice idea. Gameplay feels solid. Sounds are awesome. Did you use Emscripten for HTML5 support? PS: I used my C++ custom engine as well, go check my game ;)
@gwinnell Still need to port encryption part (used for highscores) to OSX, so I doubt that I'll make OSX port this time. Thanks for inspiration to use Emscripten though ;)
Very nice and atmospheric game! Balance is indeed somewhat poor, but graphics and general idea is top notch. Congrats!
Wow! That's one nice and polished entry here! Congrats! What engine did you use? Is it some custom one?
34 trophies collected! Nice clicker, lacks of graphics though. Some background and textures on cubes would make it much better.
Fun game! Agree with others that music was a bit annoying :). Gameplay is great - I enjoyed playing it. There would be a nice if tornado had some smoke alpha blended texture assigned.
no brainier - one of the best games I played on this LD
Neat idea with sacrificing your body parts! I liked animations when some parts were absent. Keep going!
I liked humor and audio! Gameplay is not very original, I saw already few games with similar idea (frankly it was my first idea for this jam as well). Very nice entry overall!
I loved animations. Very nice music and general idea. I don't see connection with the theme though :) Game lacks variety, but well done overall considering that it is your first steps with Unity.
I liked main mechanics of the game, graphics were a bit simple though. Not bad for first LD, keep going!
