That was hilarious, and especially impressive when you made it with your own engine!

A good quality work for a self-made engine ! nice one ! Runners always work so i don't have a lot of feedback to tell you, the avatar is pretty fun and i like he's inertia, maybe feel too heavy for the moment
was a pretty good game though i didnt manage to win :(
Hope to play it on macOS

Pretty challenging! I like the helmet damage, the music and graphics :) Good job with the custom engine!
I was a bit skeptical at first.. but this game turned out to be a lot better..The graphics are good and the theme fits perfectly..
Very hard!!! But a nice entry, good job!
Nice work with the inhouse engine, Solid gameplay, but the controls felt a bit janky for me me. Overall solid effort!
I'm having some issues running the game. According to Microsoft, I already have VS2015 installed, but it crashes shortly upon running it. A command window pops up, followed by a large window titled "GFX" which stays blank, but then a notification comes up that says that it's stopped working.
@random-storykeeper Could you please provide name of video card? Video driver must support opengl 3.3 in order to run. I'll add additional check to inform user that hw is not supported.
The graphics and audio is really nice! It was positively difficult to avoid those guys that chase you a little bit. Good entry :)

Welp, that was a really disappointing run... Fun game though! Managed to beat it after a couple more runs. Seemed a bit too dependent on random chance for good powerup locations- I think it would have felt better if you didn't slow down to such a slow pace after the arrows wear off.
Your game is hilarious! The art is great too.
And it was pretty tough, I couldn't manage to win, I was always stuck at like 90% when there was lots of enemies and less bonuses :)
A local multiplayer mode would be really fun! And it would fit your theme very well ;)
@ursagames Thank you for feedback! We made it in such way that it is chance dependent - as in real life :). My current result is 40-50% chance to win. Helmet helps a lot though.
I had some real struggle with this game, it was quite difficult! I couldn't get the hang of how to control the player and also had some trouble trying to predict where the enemies would be going. Definitely had fun playing. Nice work.
It's quite challenging. And the theme is very funny. Controls seem to have a bit of lag, but I guess that was on purpose since you're... well, swimming, right?
Great work!
Pretty difficult, but impressive given it was a self-made engine.
Always impressed by people who made their own engine. Also, love the graphics. Would be nice if the tail followed the head when you moved up and down, instead of the whole thing moving together. But I have no idea how easy or hard that would have been to implement in your own engine. Wish the game was a little bit longer and a little bit easier, but overall, very good job.
@hhsaez yes, inertia was intended because of swimming :) Thank you for your feedback.
Nice little game, found that it was mostly luck tho.
Nice little game! :0) Haha! The controls are a bit slow and for me it was hard to beat. :0) I didn't reach the end very often and one time I missed the goal! haha! Seems like I've had some big luck in real live! hahaha! :0)
Funny game. It remembers me to an old French cartoon about the human body. The best part is the graphics: they are awesome. The only problem I see is that it is hard to control, tighter controls or a more forgiving collision would be better.
I did it!!!! Cool game!
Very unexpected game! I never thought I'd see that like that on Ludumdare. really, really great idea and all production - art, sounds. Undoubted plus - using your own engine! You did a great job, guys!
@ruba I'm not certain what you mean by "Video card", but upon searching, it seems to mean graphics card? In that case, the card I use is called Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000.
@random-storykeeper thank you for your answer. According to Intel, HD 3000 supports up to OpenGL 3.1, but not 3.3 version. I will address this problem for future LD and add minimal specs to description of this entry.
@random-storykeeper I made special build for you with OpenGL 3.1 support. You can try it by the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByIVB-Hif3M1UTRiQnNKbC1kc0U/view?usp=sharing
Tell me if it works for you.
Thanks!
@gao-ming You inspired me to revive my 1.5 year old port to MacOS! So, see link in description :)
When you manage to chain a bunch of powerups together, there's a really fun sense of speed, but the rest of the time it's slow in a frustrating way. Also, powerups spawning in the danger zone is annoying.
@will-walters thanks you for your feedback - critics are always welcome. Spawning in danger zone was made on purpose - with helmet you can hide in organics without damage.
@ruba Well, I got to try the newer version. The game opens up the window, I hear a split second of music and then it crashes immediately. Sorry. :(
