I am determined to shoot a missle into orbit now!
I had such a great time with this game! I was surprised how much fun controlling the lights of that building was.
At one point about 50 seconds there is a huge difficulty spike that is basically unwinnable, but other than that its really fun!
That was hilarious, and especially impressive when you made it with your own engine!
Nice!
It fits the theme and its a clicker, nice work!
Absolutely beautiful game, interesting gameplay, very difficult!
Very fun, dropping off body parts was fantastic. Box moving a little shaky but i enjoyed myself.
That was really fun, at first i was confused but picked it up fast. Really interesting gameplay.
Fantastic art, interesting gameplay, nice job!
The idea was really cool! I found it extremely hard to keep the bombs on the enemy platforms, and was often enraged by good aim being ruined by the bomb rolling off the edge
Overall it was very pretty and I loved how the music ramped up with the waves.
Fun game! I had an issue when i had picked up a piece of cargo, and fallen down out of the level, and when the level rebooted, i couldnt pick up any cargo again.
I just rebooted the game by shutting down and restarting. I liked the way the game worked and it was a bit suspenseful in the later levels when it was hard to map out the exact numbers over time. Thanks!
I really liked this game! I did have a really hard time not blowing myself up with my pills, however. The art was really weird and fun, and I liked the sounds. This was a great time. Cheers!
Thanks @delta-key for the suggestion! I think I will add a readme to the game and make a note in my install instructions. Cheers to everyone who has played it so far!
@prismapunch Sorry that it opened your VR! I'm pretty new to Unreal Engine, so there must be something in my code somewhere that accidentally activated it. Glad you liked the game even though the combinations are tricky.
Cheers!
@sakura-magika thanks for the detailed feedback! This was my second game made using unreal engine, and during the jam I found out that the physics I had made were framerate dependant, which was a huge mistake. I never realized that the wall tiles were able to be jumped up! That's really funny and concerning at the same time.
You had the right idea about launching yourself over the spikes, sorry about the physics, and have a great day!
I enjoyed the movement! I feel like an indicator of how the forces add up at the beginning would be great just to help me get myh bearings. It was also frustrating trying to get to the mailboxes on the left because of the river, it seemed to never end!
Cheers!
It was really satisfying breaking the glass balls, it seemed at the start like I would have to be strategic, but things moved too fast for me to think, and led to me often just jumping up and down on the bulbs mindlessly, which was still fun.
I wish throwing bulbs was useful, the Super Mario Bros 2 animation was cute. Good game!
This game was super cool! I had a hard time registering when i was in danger because my health was in the top left, and it rarely looked empty at all. Some sort of indicator on the player or located nearer to the action would have been awesome for that. Near the end the enemies started to take longer to die than I would have liked, finding some other way to challenge the player could have helped a ton in these sections.
In addition, I loved the art and bosses, and how they made you think about your movement as well as shooting. Great game!
I liked the idea a lot, and the different block types were really neat. I think the levels were often very hard to read as they were just a collection of thoughtfully placed blocks. Some of the jumps were also a little too tight for my liking, like the ones at the beginning of the second level where a block is right over your head. The block falling sound was a bit grating, I think if it was done over again, a less loud and high pitched sound would do wonders.
I really liked the music, I was just playing the Outer Wilds DLC before this, and games where you have to think about gravity, and the movement of planetary bodies is so fun! I really enjoyed this. It was often difficult to find out where the right way to go was, but I mostly didnt care because weaving around planets was so fun. Cheers!
I really like the animations on the player. The jumping was either too high or too floaty, and there was a strong lack of feedback with the combat. Even when I hit something, it seemed to linger for a long time before it went away from dying.
Other than that, really cool and fun game, the animations while long were very cool.
It was fun! I liked the character conversations that came up. A lot of enemies often hung around the edge of my firing space, and i would have to press myself into the edge of the screen to get the shots off correctly, biasing the enemies more into the center would have been welcome. Also, maybe adding a couple more firing sounds would provide variety to the repetetive shooting sound. Cheers!
These little plop plops eat and drink too quickly, when the next level was like "Congratulations, you adopted more plip plops!" I was like, THEYRE TOO MUCH IN THE FIRST PLACE
This game was adorable, and I was laughing out loud while trying to keep these little plip plops fed. Cheers!
This was a good time! One thing I had trouble with was the jumping, the ball was quite bouncy, and it seemed like it was inconsistent on whether I could jump in the air or not. Sometimes i was able to jump while in mid-air, but sometimes it would seem to disallow me.
Because the ball was usually on the ground and near the bottom of the screen, the jump power indicator was often off the screen, and hard to see. Other than that, the idea was cool and the game was fun!
I liked having to get fine control of the ball sorted out, I think the ball would have benefitted from being larger in comparison to it's surroundings, I often felt like I couldnt see enough of the space, and felt like the player was obscured by foliage.
The second level goal for me was also behind a bunch of leaves, which wasnt great. I would suggest making sure the goal shows over the scenery. Otherwise fun game!
I was not sure how to get anything to happen in the game, I even started just mashing my keyboard and clicking everywhere to get any feedback, and nothing. Love the graphics though!
