Very nice little score game, don't really have a lot of problems with what is here
At first I thought the healing made the game too easy, but then it started spawning more enemies and that problem was solved
The only thing that really brings it down for me is the lack of sound. I'd be able to get past having no music, but the lack of sound effects made killing the enemies less satisfying than it could have been.
Overall, fun game, could spend a bit on this, but I wish I could hear it
Really fun little game, loved the aesthetic and the simple gameplay. The writing was hard to read in places, but the story was nice :)
This is really cool! Love the level design, especially in the head-off sections and the secret ending was a nice touch. Managed to skip picking up Alice's head in the 3rd level on my second run through, which had no baring on the secret ending difficulty but did make the normal ending impossible which was kinda funny
Didn't read the description and was caught a bit off guard when I won lol. Great little game, would love to see some kind of endless mode for it
@ryusui I actually did want to make it an HTML5 game but I made the game with C#, which Godot told me meant I couldn't export it as a web game. Will definitely look into gamepad controls for future projects/a possible update for this one Thanks for the feedback!!
@hexyvexy I would normally do that, but I wanted to see if I could make the level a bit bigger than what I normally do so I decided to let the fact that you're changing the limits of where you can go carry me for the theme on this one (Also it was easier lol). It's definitely not the most integrated take the theme though, I will agree with you on that
This is really cool! Loved the art and the gameplay and the leaderboard was a really good motivator to try to get a higher score.
Cool entry. I'd say having the only death condition be touching the red zones would have been a bit better since it would leaned into the theme a bit more and there's no way for the player to track their health anyway, but that might also just be me being bad at the game. I really like the variety of options and the dash is really fun too!
Nice little time killer. Thought shield units were a bit useless at first, but I like how they very quickly become more useful as you go :)
I'm not very good at this kind of game, but I really liked this one. The atmosphere was really cool and most of the puzzles were satisfying to solve, though I wasn't sure what I did for a few of them (especially when the chef room went black and white, no idea how I triggered that)
After having beaten the game, here are some thoughts Good: Graphics The boss at the end is fun There are plenty of useful movement options that are fun to play with Difficult, but in a fun way (other than the spike section)
Less good: The spike section has a severe over reliance on instant kills to provide its challenge. This combined with the very fast fall speed and lack of checkpoints makes it an absolute headache to get through. This also seems to be the area with most side paths, but I didn't feel any sort of want to explore them because if I died I would just be sent back to the start and all that time would have been wasted. It's not too bad once you know the route, but being sent back to the start for making a single mistake does make that a bit of chore.
Overall, I quite enjoyed it. The section with the golems is a good primer for the boss and the boss itself is an enjoyable fight. good game!
This is really cool! Game froze during the monologue where Clochette was talking about submitting the theme and I can't tell if that was intentional or not, but the rest of is a really fun idea that's presented really well :)
Fun little puzzle game, but not everything is telegraphed that well. Stuff like having to combine the bird with the worm to interact with the yarn ball felt a bit random, but what did work worked really well!
Gonna do a running update with this because I'm less than 5 seconds in and it's already my favourite game I've played from the jam so far. Revealing the rest of the tutorial when you rotate the window is the obvious thing to do with this concept, but it's still a really good moment that immediately sets the tone for the rest of it.
Immediately not in love with the control scheme. I would like to be able to use the arrow keys to move if I'm using Q and E to rotate the window, but I need to hold the mouse to aim so I have to use A and D to move. With W being shoot, it makes the controls feel a bit cluttered.
Loving the level design. I don't have tonnes to say about it, but it's really fun :D
The boss fight at the end is really cool. A bit of a difficulty spike, but nothing too bad. It plays with the concept in some really fun ways and is a really fun challenge!
Really good job on this one!
