Incredible use of theme! What a fun idea, also great music. It felt like playing a platformer while really, really drunk, having to concentrate and carefully line up every jump with my narrow field of view.
It crashed after I walked through the door on level 2 but I was running it in a weird way with opengl3 drivers in windows sandbox (with that description, come on ). This actually made it look transparent and awesome for some reason, so that was cool. WindowsSandboxClient_jHQs1VBYye.jpg
I loved it! it's a pretty cool concept and i think it was well executed. The only thing i would change is that the player shoots in front of him instead of following your mouse direction, but its just my preference. Great work, congratulations!

First of all, this game has a great theme, which is definitely something I like. In fact, the implementation is very cool. The only thing that confused me was the large size of the archive with such a small game (probably interaction with the user’s theme needs that much memory. In any case, the game is cool

the character and story is really cute! The only thing I would change is to make the window is centered around the character, it would make some platforming easier
Cool idea, but I can't launch the game. The space bar to start doesn't work for me. I can only rotate or click the exit button :/
One of my favorite uses of the theme, this is really creative! Would love to see hidden collectibles or something to really take advantage of the limited camera.

@dreamscale something like that is definitely something i'd want to implement if i ever expanded upon this idea!
Awesome idea! I love the windows samples in the music, and the boss mechanics were genius! There were a few instances where I shot and the direction wasn't completely correct, and there's an exploit where if you input a jump twice really quickly you can get a ton of height.
The visuals are striking and the game itself is a great use of the theme. Makes it stand out from other platformers and forces me to learn a new control scheme with all the rotating with makes it feel more original.
The one note I have is I didn't love the feel of the shooting following the mouse cursor, but I do understand why it needs to be that way. Might have worked better for me if I could also click to fire.
The readme file was very funny and a great touch. I love the concept of a cursed install.
In the end, I think the originality is really what I took from this the most and you absolutely nailed it. Very creative!
Very clever use of theme! Lots of potential with the idea, like resizable windows, extra windows, pop-ups, etc. Good job!

Gonna do a running update with this because I'm less than 5 seconds in and it's already my favourite game I've played from the jam so far. Revealing the rest of the tutorial when you rotate the window is the obvious thing to do with this concept, but it's still a really good moment that immediately sets the tone for the rest of it.
Immediately not in love with the control scheme. I would like to be able to use the arrow keys to move if I'm using Q and E to rotate the window, but I need to hold the mouse to aim so I have to use A and D to move. With W being shoot, it makes the controls feel a bit cluttered.
Loving the level design. I don't have tonnes to say about it, but it's really fun :D
The boss fight at the end is really cool. A bit of a difficulty spike, but nothing too bad. It plays with the concept in some really fun ways and is a really fun challenge!
Really good job on this one!

Brilliant take on "limited space"! I love the README and how the instructions at the start introduce you to the rotating window mechanic. The boss at the end was hilarious and so well-done. Also adored the Windows XP sounds sampled in the music. My only criticisms are minor: -The shooting sound is REALLY loud. -The eyeball enemies felt a little bit cheap at times. Some sort of visual warning for where they are, like maybe a faint pulse, would help. -There seems to be a bug where your aim doesn't go where your mouse pointer is sometimes.

Smart idea playing with the FOV, but at some times the camera stayed above/below the character and I could not see the guy. Otherwise really well done, the gameplay is fun.

@buzzybee thank you! Glad you liked the title screen tutorial, it was actually the last thing I added when I realized I had enough time.

This is a pretty neat game, the idea of limiting the viewspace works well with the theme. The story and the art where charming, and the jumping was fun. Shooting felt a little bit too powerful though, you can fire as fast as you can click and aim anywhere so most enemies just die once you see them. It would of also of been nice to always be able to see your health, and to have some sort of death screen.
Very original and interesting take on the theme. This strength is also a con at times, trying to find an enemy that just appeared can be a bit frustrating. Planning your way through while rotating the window can be really fun, though.
The wizard bossfight plays well with the game's systems. Also difficult.

Really cool idea, it was a really interesting twist on a simple platformer, and you pulled it off really well! The music was awesome, when I noticed that there were windows sounds used to make up the soundtrack it was awesome.
Platforming felt pretty good, but the window itself could be a little bit more frustrating than intended at times, especially when (for instance) it didn't centre on the player, so I couldn't see where I was going. Unfortunately I died on level 4 and then the game crashed, so I didn't get to complete it, but nice entry - and very unique!
