It fits the theme and its a clicker, nice work!

Nice audio. The frame rate seems to be dropping the bigger the circle gets.

The commentary on our consumption culture and the nihilistic pointless-ness of it all was a surprisingly challenging idea to face in such a simple game. Work/Click-Grow-Spread-Consume-Why? Dunno if any of that was the authors intention, but yeah, deep stuff.

Must... keep... clicking...

johnnyc1423 2017-08-01 04:27

I hope you get to the part where you make it fun one day!

I don't know why but the clicking sound always seem to sync with the music. If that's intentional, amazing work!

Small clicker. Would like to know how the game would look like if you had enough time :) I really like the music!

It's a nice idea. Some future path to follow: 1) adding graphics of a town converting to a city larger and larger, 2) there should be a way to win more points if we keep the power production close to the demand (e.g. more clicks/power means more cost in $, and that might be less population/work for people).

I have a rational fear of red dots so I had to just keep clicking 500/500 would crash browser again.

@chrissiq It's a pretty small and simple game, but I still think it's cool. The music is really good, and I think if you spent more time on it, it has great potential!

pandakipu 2017-08-07 22:19

The concept is simple, the audio ambiance is great. Good work.

I liked the music and thought the audio had a good beat! The game at this stage was fairly straightforward, but I had fun pushing my luck, because at higher numbers approaching the loss condition could happen very quickly. Simple but clear and effective presentation was put to good use.
