LD44 — Your life is currency

Signal by HitchH1k3r 2019-05-07T23:24:59Z

This is a really solid effort! I'm impressed with the amount of content you were able to fit in. Great job!

The Last Minutes by Togimaro 2019-05-01T23:42:06Z

Funny, well themed and an enjoyable time. Great job!

Life Vac by caranha 2019-05-05T15:32:08Z

Awesome presentation, sound, and game idea. I played it a couple times and got progressively better. Nice work!

Warlock Cardgame by krammetje 2019-05-05T15:23:42Z

Great work - the game was easy to learn and had some interesting decisions. With some more visual polish and mechanic fine tuning, it could really shine. Keep it up!

The Tail of the Serpent by Le Slo 2019-05-01T11:55:24Z

Really good job on a polished game. Smart idea for the mechanics and I really liked the background music. Also, your rampup in difficulty and teaching the player was great. I'd recommend increasing the snake move speed a bit. Other than that, great work!

Fokusiro by oakus 2019-05-03T16:35:52Z

Solid concept and one of the more unique takes on the theme. Really liked the path effects. Great work!

Plague Machine by Echo GameWorks 2019-05-01T02:52:41Z

@black-potion Thanks for the bug report - all fixed! And thanks for giving my game a shot :-)

Plague Machine by Echo GameWorks 2019-05-03T20:35:23Z

@aterlamia Appreciate the feedback - I agree that with the random generation sometimes you get a bad hand and no real way out after your first drop of spores. You can actually skip the tutorial by clicking on the target/bullseye button. If you don't want to place your spores right away, then you can click on the water and it cancel the placement action. Then you're free to look at all the islands. Thanks for playing my game!

Plague Machine by Echo GameWorks 2019-05-07T23:32:01Z

@enderswype I appreciate the honest feedback. I'll do some work on it to clear things up!

Plague Machine by Echo GameWorks 2019-05-11T17:12:55Z

@bar hmmm I haven't run into a 0 Total Spores bug yet. All you should have to do is click the bullseye button and then click on any City/Island. If the game loads and it doesn't say 50, then it might be a compatibility bug. I've tested it on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and IE for PC with no issue. If you tell me what browser & platform, I can dig into it some more. I appreciate the feedback!

Plague Machine by Echo GameWorks 2019-05-12T19:45:38Z

@bar I found the issue you were talking about and have now updated the game with a fix. Let me know if you still run into problems. Thanks for the help!

Neon Caverns by Johan Vischer 2019-05-03T02:09:28Z

The smooth player animation and glowy graphics are really cool. A little floating - but no a show stopper. Great work!

Xochipilli's Trade by Giezi 2019-05-05T15:53:23Z

Really well made - probably the best I've run across in this LD. Theme, art, music all on point. And the level generation really helps the replay value. Great work!

TREASURE ROOM by jutjuan 2019-05-03T16:49:52Z

Great work - I really like the art and effect. The damage screen ripple is really cool. Good job on ramping up the difficulty as the game goes on.

Life Pact by jaoel 2019-05-01T22:17:06Z

Solid work and fun. I'll agree with the large cooldown on the firing. Great stuff!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Valley of the Dying by Echo GameWorks 2020-04-25T00:23:57Z

@incobalt - Thanks so much for the feedback. I completely agree that it's a bit more repetitive and dull than I was imagining from the start. I was hoping to add more features (character powers, towers, etc) - just ran out of time. I appreciate you taking the time to try it out!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

A Shopkeepers Predicament by Kirthos 2020-10-11T23:45:53Z

Art, music, and dialog all top notch. The introspection definitely made me chuckle. Great work!

Ribbon by 100th_Coin 2020-10-07T01:21:16Z

Really awesome idea and great polish on the graphics, art, and charm. As others mentioned, the free-form snaking movement controls were wonky but usable. Super innovative. Great work!

A Certain Particle Chamber by Baturinsky 2020-10-07T02:01:04Z

I really liked the simplicity and execution of the idea. I was blown away by how into the simulation I got. Really appreciate you making something off the beaten road like this! Awesome work.

ReBeat by Alex Davies 2020-10-07T02:12:49Z

This is a really great concept. It was a bit mind-melting at times, but it made me really want to keep trying. The song clips were simple and easy to listen to. Enjoyed this game a lot. Awesome work!

Beyond Death by Trypants 2020-10-07T02:31:08Z

Really enjoyed the graphics and music! If I could tweak one thing, it'd be to let the camera float some more on the vertical so that every time you go up stairs it doesn't step change with the player - its a bit jarring. Other than that, great work!

The Hall Of Anubis by Patrick Sweeney 2020-10-07T01:01:48Z

I admit it - I couldn't get past the Silver Key! Maybe I was missing the hints? In any case, really cool concept. The graphics and mood were fitting. Loved the mood. Great work!

Wizard Recurse by Ismael Rodriguez 2020-10-11T22:20:31Z

Really liked the theme and the sound effects / music were on point. Awesome work and polish!

Tower of Madness by Eduardo Yukio 2020-10-11T23:59:58Z

Really tight controls and precision platforming. I got to where the three spikes fly to the right and had to throw in the towel. Great work putting together an enjoyable game!

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-07T00:43:44Z

@Lombax - I just realized I didn't explicitly mention the actual looping mechanic in the game! Thanks for catching that.

@masaru - I had actually planned for there to be an enemy that covers your current area with a damage effect to force you to move more into the danger zone, but I ran out of time. Definitely some mechanics that could be added.

Thanks @patrick-sweeney @lombax @masaru for giving my game a shot!

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-07T02:03:07Z

@snowinn - Unfortunately, the Webgl build didn't work at the time of the submittal. I'll see if I can do a bit of debugging and get one out now that there isn't crunch time :-)

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-07T02:33:32Z

@ismael-rodriguez - thanks for the feedback. you're right that the grey is a bit blah by itself. I'll think on color palette a bit next time. Cheers!

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-11T21:52:44Z

@matthewrobo - I had originally planned on the character taking and switching between various attacks based on which bosses they defeated. Unfortunately, ran out of time implement it. Thanks for playing!

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-11T22:13:02Z

@snowinn - I've uploaded a WebGL build to Itch if you're still interested!

Curse of King Uroboros by Echo GameWorks 2020-10-21T00:35:22Z

@witekwitek - thanks for the feedback!

1. The tiles were suppose to be the first pass..never got time for the second pass. 2. I didn't realize the gameover screen was low for some people - it's right in the middle for me. I'll have to look into it. 3. Thanks for the bug report. I'll check it out.

If you think about it, ain't a sling a murder loop? by matthewrobo 2020-10-07T01:35:32Z

Really awesome idea for the theme. It was extremely satisfying to actually hit a ship. How I hit them? No idea. I had no plan. I just swung it. Loved the art direction - simple yet appealing. Great work!

The Lost Frog by Lombax 2020-10-07T01:09:15Z

As others have said - really hard to get the controls working the way I was expecting. The idea definitely had merit and I could see some interesting puzzles come out of it. Great job on pushing through even though you weren't wanting this theme!

Beat Bash by Overlook Studios 2020-10-12T00:18:45Z

Really awesome game. My only nitpick is that the resolution clipped on both the web version and the downloaded version. I was still able to play it without issue but the first rune was only about half on the screen. Loved the art, music, and concept. Great work!

Beat Bash by Overlook Studios 2020-10-13T15:21:47Z

@overlook-studios FYI - I'm running 1680x1050

The exit is in ----- by Masaru 2020-10-07T01:14:12Z

The concept was really cool. The controls and level design a bit tough. Great work finishing the project!

Don't Stress that Beat! by JoskerDu 2020-10-07T01:30:03Z

Definitely got my blood pressure up after a couple days in! Solid execution on the theme and I got some chuckles with the sound effects. Great work!

while(true) by Noah Kuhn 2020-10-07T01:51:48Z

Really digging the concept (as someone with a programmer's heart). If I had to nitpick, it'd be that the font was extremely hard to read on the fly and that the enemies didn't pose much of a threat the first half of the game. With some tuning and additional features, this would be a really good micro game. Awesome work!

Among The Stars by Layne Stokes 2020-10-07T01:43:20Z

#2 (at the time of writing)! Once the controls and perspective were figured out, it's a pretty enjoyable little game. Really liked the aesthetic / graphics. Great work!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Squiddies decent by Rialgar 2021-05-09T20:52:00Z

Had a lot of fun with the gameplay loop - did about 20 levels. I also though the controls were really good which is an important in a game like this. Great work!

Shoot 'em Down by Pennycook 2021-05-09T20:10:21Z

Enjoyed the art and controls. Super rough only being able to take one hit. Definitely gave it a couple tries though. Great work!

MineWell by superpokeunicorn 2021-05-09T20:23:48Z

Great art, sound, and polish! Really liked the mechanic of the powerup move - makes it a much more unique game. Awesome work!

Under The End by chris-delta 2021-05-03T01:45:50Z

Really impressed with the amount of mechanics you were able to build into the game in such a short amount of time. Clean and easy to learn. Great work!

Line by morrilet 2021-05-09T19:56:14Z

Controls were simple and easy to use. Really liked the color scheme, character animation, and the theme. I thought the music fit the ambiance really well. Great work!

Deep(er) Purple by johnnysix 2021-05-03T01:53:00Z

That is one agile cat! Really fun to move around and I thought the music was on point. Great work!

Reach the Core by kavehes 2021-05-03T01:37:39Z

Fun little game! I really liked how the controls felt - a lot of 'weight' behind the movement. Only complaint is one of the patterns, I didn't feel like I could ever hit the gap between rocks just right. Overall, great work!

Descent into Madness by danvil 2021-05-03T01:17:50Z

Solid game, easy to pickup, and fit the theme well. Once I got down into the 40's area, it was pretty impossible to not hit something. Would have been nice to have a bit more control. Overall, great work!

Fall In Line by GettingRekt 2021-05-09T20:58:35Z

I can see what the vision was and I like where it was going. However, the scope is pretty big for a gamejam and the lack of polish puts a bit of a damper on the underlying mechanics. What you were able to put in to it shows a lot of good work! The character visuals were cute and the mechanic is great. Awesome work pulling this together!

Stabalot by bw_devel 2021-05-03T01:09:59Z

Really liked the idea of swapping between the two main mechanics. Graphics and controls were clean and the game fit well with the team in really interesting way. The music loop was enjoyable but a little bit short. Great work!

Sheep Deeper by Kusaihana 2021-05-09T20:42:08Z

That is a mind-bending challenge! Nice implementation. Great work!

Dwarven Mines: Hunt for the Evergreen by mrtnldm 2021-05-03T01:58:00Z

Art, music, and ambience was great. Didn't run into anything challenging though - just moving right. The lighting was great. Awesome work!

MINOTOAD by MarkoPoloDev 2021-05-09T20:39:36Z

Really like the mood/world building in this. The action was challenging but fair. Did get soft locked after the first boss, but still had a fun time up to that point. And kudos on the landing animation on the enemy frogs - super satisfying. Great work!

Shatter Blocks by Avi 2021-05-09T20:33:14Z

The controls were on point and the dash mechanic was extremely satisfying. Great work!

Dig Frenzy by Boon 2021-05-15T19:18:56Z

Really like this take on a Tower Defense. Love the way you can manipulate the path. Thought I was being cheeky by surrounding the end point with towers only to find out the enemies can destroy them! Smart anti-cheese mechanic there. Solid core concept - with a graphics overhaul and additional tower/enemy types, you could have yourself a fun little game. Great work!

Deeper Into The Mind by michaelyount 2021-05-09T19:48:24Z

Really liked the the animation on the main character and the mood. The music was well done, too. Great work!

Dreamcatcher by TheCommonThug 2021-05-03T01:49:48Z

Solid concept that could use polishing. Some of the text was really small and the direction of the game wasn't 100% clear. For a first compo, really awesome work!

ATOM by cyriaque 2021-05-09T21:14:43Z

Those are some ridiculous physics, but I loved it. With some polish and time, there is a lot of interesting protentional in this. Great work!

Pipe Dream by aa4z2 2021-05-10T01:10:31Z

Loved the mechanics and the theme! The restriction of not being able to demo a pipe really hinders the fun on new buildings/sinks showing up. Altogether, frantic and fun! Great work!

RogueRally by ComicSans 2021-05-09T20:16:32Z

Always enjoy myself a programming game! Straight forward controls and increasingly interesting puzzles. Really liked the background music - gave it a good vibe. Great work!

Diggleoid by zep 2021-05-09T21:19:55Z

Controls and polish were great! Thought the SFX and art were on point as well. It took a while to learn how the rocks/ground fell, but it felt fair and enjoyable. Great work!

Untitled Simulator by Eugenik 2021-05-09T21:37:35Z

Definitely an interesting concept and you can actually learn stuff about Hitler along the way! Great execution - thanks for making this.

Astral Descension by nyxkn 2021-05-03T01:03:16Z

Great work! The game was entertaining and the music fit. As others have mentioned, the difference walkable vs non-walkable tiles are difficult to see (at least on my old monitor). Really liked the idea of having multiple ends. That's always a great way to get engagement on short jam games where people want to experience more.

Deeper Every D8 by notanimposter 2021-05-09T21:04:53Z

I don't know what it was - maybe how 'uncanny valley' it is, but I was chuckling and enjoying myself as I played through it. Nice job creating something really unique!

Ziggurat by nethead 2021-05-09T21:38:36Z

Solid theme/mood and controls. The art and music are outstanding. Great work!

Subsanity by cannashblue 2021-05-09T20:06:01Z

Quaint, perfect controls for an underwater vehicle, and really enjoyable to play. I thought the music was great across all the areas. That extra bit of polish was awesome. Great work!

Fat Larry at the All-U-Can-Eat buffet by mariszin 2021-05-09T21:09:01Z

The premise cracked me up and it was an interesting take on the theme. The music was a bit repetitive as you go through the levels - either a longer loop or variations would have been nice. Great work!

Dahla's Journey by PiJaMar 2021-05-09T20:29:23Z

Really liked the concept and art style! The animations were so smooth for pixel art. My only gripe is that it was hard to tell if there was a way to strategically know where the enemies were moving. Sometimes it was just moving back and forth in place until an opening happened. Generally though, I enjoyed playing your game - great work!

LD49 — Unstable

Dogs++ by Jezzamon 2021-10-09T22:29:59Z

Super cute and satisfying mechanic. Great job!

The Battle Alchemist by cirno 2021-10-09T22:50:43Z

Really innovative deckbuilder! I like the intent system but I don't feel like it really impacted my decision making that much. Awesome work!

Project Stallion / Zherebets Proyekta by dob 2021-10-17T18:53:01Z

Tis a silly game, but definitely interesting and different than a lot of the other entries. Great work!

Unstable Concoction by theviraldragon 2021-10-10T17:26:24Z

Super cute game. Loved the mini-game of stirring to change things up. As others have said, keeping track of which combos make which potions is a bit much for how many combos are possible. Music and art was on point. Great work!

Gnolab by ShadowyXP Games 2021-10-09T22:17:55Z

Liked the idea and the graphics were delightful. As others have said, having the controls explained outside the same would have been pretty helpful because I missed some of the information in-game. Great work!

Horse-d'oeuvre by drtizzle 2021-10-09T21:45:34Z

Quirky and funny. Great job!

A Crumbly Planet by kumber 2021-10-17T18:44:28Z

Really cute! I liked how you could actually see where the unstable platforms were during the shaking. Nice touch - that made it less trial and error and more of a memory game. Also, the 'move' sound cracked me up. Great work!

Interstellar Highway Robbery by Corny 2021-10-10T21:25:36Z

Really enjoyed the take on the theme and the idea of crashing into the other ships. Graphics were clean and the music made it feel that much more hectic. Great job!

Above the Void by MiltonNH25 2021-10-10T17:45:55Z

Really enjoyed playing through it. The level 'smile' was my favorite - had me stumped for a bit. Mechanics were great and the music fit the theme. If I had one complaint it was that an incidental mistake on my part meant redoing a whole section again (perfectly). A rewind mechanic would been amazing but understandable left out for a jam. Great work!

UnstaLaser by Roelosaurus 2021-10-10T21:18:15Z

Streamline, simple mechanic that was really satisfying. It almost felt like gambling - just wanted to try *one more time* on level 4 power haha. Awesome execution on graphics and sound. Great work!

Dextertiary by Elnu 2021-10-17T19:02:17Z

Excellent work on the graphics and sound. I felt like the crystal being in an arbitrary spot made it a bit less fun as the first 'life' on a level was just finding it before dying due to time. Other than that, great job team!

Orbitris by BOOtak 2021-10-10T21:02:55Z

One of the better tetris-inspired games I've played. The orbital controls are intuitive and fun to use. It's a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. Great work!

Manoe's Quest by Mahjoub 2021-10-10T21:33:33Z

Loved the graphics and theme. The pinball-esque platforming was super satisfying. Awesome job!

Trauma by AdamCYounis 2021-10-09T21:43:12Z

Great little game. Loved the play on words and muzzle mechanics.

Among Monolyths by Dekajoo 2021-10-10T18:20:17Z

Really loved the mechanics, music, and graphics. Great work!

Wiggle Bird by SamDemaine 2021-10-09T21:52:15Z

Super cute game. Simple and infuriating at the same time!

Grabanakki by Saturnyoshi 2021-10-10T18:27:04Z

Loved it. Super polished from graphics to mechanics to music/sound. Awesome work by the team! One of the best games of the jam.

The Lesser Evil by Jon Topielski 2021-10-10T18:08:56Z

Really loved the concept and the mechanics. It had just the right amount of challenge and diversity to keep things interesting. Two drawbacks - 1) readability of the characters and 2) some of color palettes were just not enjoyable to look at - maybe it was suppose to be part of the challenge, but it took away from the game more than anything. Great work!

Frosty Wobble by Ghuyajil 2021-10-10T20:48:38Z

Really liked how the progression system for the abilities opened up the level. Cute graphics and pretty tight controls. Two pieces of feedback: 1) the camera locked so tightly to the characters movement is a bit disorienting - consider using a softer tracking in the future. 2) seemed like the jump button didn't always register leading to some unfortunate deaths. Overall though, really enjoyable. Great job!

Crazy Cauldron by Quite Good 2021-10-10T20:58:11Z

Loved the style - graphics, music/sound, and theme. As someone who can never remember color theory, it was a bit difficult without a reference. Other than that, great game!

Orbit by Wuppos 2021-10-10T21:10:25Z

Really awesome idea and execution. Loved the graphics and the controls. The orbiting was pretty difficult! I feel like giving more fuel at the beginning would have made the trial and error of finding the right orbit a bit fun. Having to redo the asteroid part over and over because I couldn't hit the orbit with enough gas made it a little repetitive. Overall all though, really like it! Awesome work.

Stable Inc. by CorbenG 2021-10-09T21:31:32Z

Heart-pounding fun and super polished. Loved the idea!

Myco by treatyofparis 2021-10-10T17:57:09Z

Really loved this one. Crunchy turned based actions (ala Into The Breach), polished graphics, great music, and perfect take on the theme. If I had to gripe, I would have liked to have seen some descriptions on the upgrade to help onboard the user. Otherwise, great work!

Dank Brew of the High Mage by John Luke Lusty 2021-10-10T18:11:25Z

Great mood, visuals, and take on the theme. Impossibly difficult but still super fun. Awesome work!

reactor reaction by Skahd 2021-10-17T18:48:15Z

The movement was smooth and the art was cute, but I couldn't get the pickup to work for some reason.

Super Misfire or: One Gun To Shoot Them All by ivysly 2021-10-17T18:57:41Z

Really enjoyable movement and mechanics. On the next iteration, perhaps make it so there are different enemies that are stronger, weaker or immune to different ammo types. Great work!

Lovecrafting by Concker_88 2021-10-10T20:33:44Z

Loved the idea and the execution on the theme. The graphics are top notch. Great work!

Watch Your Step! by Rmu 2021-10-10T20:38:12Z

Cute game! Loved the art style and the controls felt good. Definitely hectic trying to get the patterns understood, but definitely enjoyable. Great job!

LD52 — Harvest

Dice Settlers by Jimbly 2023-01-15T22:35:11Z

Really well executed game. A lot of depth for a jam game, too! Awesome work.

Boba by danman9914 2023-01-17T03:17:13Z

Loved it! The take on the theme and the peeling back of the onion was really satisfying. I have no idea how you were able to put all that together in 48 hours - super impressive. One of my favorites of the jam. Awesome work!

Grow Golf by torcado 2023-01-17T02:50:42Z

What can be said that all the other comments haven't said already. Amazing concept and execution! Loved it.

The grand harvest championship (I must win) by vidarn 2023-01-17T03:31:32Z

Super polished game with an excellent mechanic that becomes really deep. Loved the art style and learning curve. One of the best games in the jam so far. Great work!

Aorta by Cloughd 2023-01-15T22:49:09Z

Loved the ambience and tenseness of the game! The heartbeat really took it up a notch. Nice work!

Build a Frank by Elastiskalinjen 2023-01-15T22:28:18Z

Short and sweet little game! I liked it. Really enjoyed the take on the theme and how foot enemy's attack. Great work!

Horn of Abundance by fusionnist 2023-01-16T00:16:58Z

Well executed game! The graphics and controls were great. I really liked the way the hearts float around your character. Awesome work!

Cute game! Loved the jokes and the art style. Great work!

Death In Time by Yorsh 2023-01-15T01:19:03Z

Really well put together! The animation and vibe of the game were great. The turntable camera was a nice touch. Great work!

Bloodflail by Untitled Studios 2023-01-15T22:58:07Z

Really satisfying gameplay! Clean visuals, great hit feedback, and addictive upgrades. One of the best games I've played in the jam so far. Great work!

There is a rabbit here! by yellow 2023-01-16T00:29:56Z

Pretty cute little game. Nice and simple, but really well executed. Loved the song. Great work!

Apple Harvester by rhewid 2023-01-15T21:42:21Z

748! Great little game. I liked the rainbow text and the variations on what is thrown. Awesome work!

Otherworld Harvester by shp 2023-01-15T21:58:21Z

Perfect execution on the feeling of being in an alien land! The music was great for adding even more atmosphere. The mechanics were really well done. I felt like the upgrades were meaningful and I was looking forward to spending getting that next upgrade. It's just the right level of difficulty, too. Really awesome work! You should be extremely proud of the entry.

Squirrelativity by cassowary 2023-01-16T01:13:25Z

Really loved this one. Great art and sound for a puzzle game with just the right amount difficulty. One of the best games of the jam I've played so far. Awesome work!

@cagibi - Thanks for finding the bug! I've noted in the itch.io page for future players.

@verttixpertti - Most of the plants only scored points in the middle of the range. Because of this, there are times where reducing a stat was the right move. Goes to show that I could have made the instructions more clear. Thanks for playing!

@feor - Thanks so much for the in depth feedback! I was really hoping to have time for a more difficult AI, sounds/music and some more mechanics (pushing plants in different directions to optimize the area of effect cards). Time got away from me, though. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness in your reply!

@captaindreamcast - Glad you liked it! There are definitely some flashes of what I was imagining in my head, but will need a lot more polish. So happy to hear that the core loop was solid enough to keep playing. Thanks for your detailed comment!

@diesdas - Thanks for the feedback! Agreed that it was too ambitious. That is a recurring theme for my jam scopes. I needed another 24 hours for the polish. Appreciate you playing my game!

HARVEST by diesdas 2023-01-17T03:21:33Z

Took a bit of time to understand the interface, but I really liked the execution of the theme. Mechanically tight and an interesting little puzzle. Great work!

Flush U by dry-squid 2023-01-17T02:32:54Z

Probably the most unique take on the theme I've seen so far! Loved the change in sound effect of the toilet dragging when it was full. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that it was a little bit *too* easy to get aliens to sit down since they all got funneled into the entrance of the building and there were tons of them. Either way, I enjoyed it for what it was. Great work!

Ludum Dare - The Card Game by Itskdog 2023-01-15T22:12:55Z

The amount of mechanics you fit into the Compo timeframe is crazy. Seems like there is a lot of depth to be explored. As you mentioned in a comment on my game, teaching card game rules in a jam is always really difficult. Really nice effort!

Ramming into Trees by cagibi 2023-01-15T20:54:17Z

Great visuals and the controls were really reasonable. Fun little game. Awesome work!

Night of the Zombie Chickens by Jonqs 2023-01-15T22:42:08Z

Really satisfying running over the chickens. Pretty fun art style, too. When purchasing, the text for dead chicken currency was a bit small, so it took an extra couple seconds to find it the first time. Other than that, fun little game! Great work.

Noxious Harvest by Pe7e 2023-01-16T00:56:17Z

Really cool puzzle setup! Modeling was really good for a jam. Would have been nice to have a mouse sensitivity option - it was super fast for me. Great work!

Karmavrest by Vidu 2023-01-18T03:00:38Z

Beautiful art and an interesting gameplay loop to go with it. Really well executed for your first jam. Congrats!

Carvest by feor 2023-01-16T01:02:11Z

Pretty fun little game. Great take on the theme leading to an interesting mechanic. The song was pretty catchy as well. Great work!

Crypt Caper by Asieke 2023-01-18T03:08:19Z

Really loved the mood and graphics. Your take on the theme was novel and led to a really cool mechanic. Unfortunately, the controls hampered the enjoyment of it a bit - the wall jumping was pretty finicky. Overall though, really impressive entry!

Imma Head Out by Alex Garbus 2023-01-15T21:02:05Z

Pretty good jam entry! The mechanic was solid and controls were tight. At times, I had a hard time differentiating my character with the particles and enemies. Other than that, great work!

Combine Harvester: Time Attack! by Christian Zommerfelds 2023-01-18T02:53:42Z

I loved how relaxing this game was, even with the timer. Solid execution on a fun mechanic. Great work!

Wakey Wakey by Jellybean 2023-01-17T03:25:47Z

Cute little game! It wasn't until about 4 plants in that I realized it was going to be harder than I originally thought to win. Great execution!

Plot Luck by Ani 2023-01-16T01:05:51Z

Really cute game! Loved the aesthetic - graphics, sound effects, and music all fit perfectly. Super enjoyable. Great work!

Out Of Sight by Kizilejderha 2023-01-16T00:47:31Z

Really liked the mood you set for the game. Also, the particle effect coming out of the combine turning red after it has run over a hunter was pretty nifty. Great work!

Minerals Planter by Found Bow Tonight 2023-01-15T22:24:30Z

The enemies are relentless and the dynamite effect is super satisfying! I'd suggest toning down the enemies at the very beginning so the player can get their footing. Great work on the game!

Harpvest by SpoopyIsSad 2023-01-15T22:19:26Z

The pun take on the theme made me chuckle and the atmosphere was great. The readability on the colors was a bit rough - I'd suggest using a preset color palette (like from https://lospec.com/palette-list). Also, I didn't realize that harvesting took time the first time I tried it on a harp. I thought the game was broken. A timer or visual would have been helpful. Great work on the game!

The Polar Vet and the Non-Swimming Penguin by bezbiletnym 2023-01-25T01:21:17Z

Cozy little game with really good puzzle design doing the whole subversion of the "obvious" solution. Really strong sokoban mechanic. As a quality of life thing, I'd suggest factoring in the distance that the characters move so that is the same time of travel for 1 square vs 4+ squares away. Great work!

Seed Your Weed by LordDrw 2023-01-15T21:37:35Z

The visual progress aligning with actual progress felt really good! Controls were pretty intuitive for the most part. Great work!

Eon Reaper by Kelvin Mulungu 2023-01-16T00:37:31Z

The styling and music was a really cool vibe. The controls were a bit finicky, but overall enjoyable little game. Also - cool shaders!

Alien Fruit Harvest by kossnocorp 2023-01-15T01:12:13Z

Controls were pretty good and intuitive mechanics. Also, the music was nice and soothing. The level layout was a bit unforgiving, but if you were going for rage game - you nailed it. Great work!

Sacrifice to the Harvest God by lzxh 2023-01-17T02:45:24Z

I liked the idea for the theme but I didn't ever feel like I needed to sacrifice anyone. Maybe I missed a visual cue or it never came up? I thought the harvesting of the fields was satisfying, though. Great work for your first jam!

Look Closely! by Xamora 2023-01-16T00:44:01Z

Congrats on finishing! Nice minimalist puzzle game. Awesome work!

Scrapseed by scumhead 2023-01-18T03:16:37Z

A really cute story wrapped up in a strong, simple mechanic. Awesome touch with the music kicking in at just the right time. Also, the art is gorgeous. Awesome work!
