Unique concept! The game unfortunately crashed for me when I select the third or fourth levels, so I could only play the first two. Those were fun though!

I found it somewhat jarring that the "correct" beat to play sounded very bad, but I guess that's just how compo games are.

Woah this is great! very fun concept and the art is really nice, well done!

This is a really great concept. It was a bit mind-melting at times, but it made me really want to keep trying. The song clips were simple and easy to listen to. Enjoyed this game a lot. Awesome work!

This game is so great. Seriously my sons and I had a ball beating this game. :D Nothing was irritating to us but was fun. :-) :-) :-)

Very unique and innovative! Takes a while to get used to. I love the menu: the transitions are really nice. When I exit a level and go to the menu the music is playing twice.

Fun and challenging. Good job

The UI polish and level transitions are some of my favorite things. :) The game idea is pretty unique. I wish I could pause or have a safe little space to play with the music/environment to plan things out before walking into spikes. But aside from that, the game is pretty well rounded and fun. Nice work!

Very cool concept! Looks and sounds great, too! I did find the challenge somewhat too steep for my skill, but I've never been good with rhythm games of any kind. It would be great to see a post-compo version with some kind of tutorial in the beginning (it took me a few moments to understand what to do). Also, I did find myself wishing there was a restart level button in the menu; and I wish the quit button asked for some kind of confirmation before actually ending the game. Very well done overall.

Really love the concept. The level design was good and raised some interesting puzzles. I got stuck on level 3 for ages until I realised one of the purple loops was empty...

Winning a level often resulted in something that didn't sound very musical, and I didn't find there was enough control over timing for it to be a rhythm game. It would be great to have a stronger connection between the music and the game.

woah! this is really cool

This is a truly unique game. Some easy levels with only 1 instrument could help understand the mechanic, the first level is quite hard, since there's no tutorial or anything. But I quite enjoyed it, and it's cool that every level has it's own music track !

The implementation of changing the played part and changing the events that ocurred on the game was quite phenomenal.

Other than some spots where I felt that the beats didn't really suit the things that were ocurring on screen, I had a great time trying to figure out what beats to play and when. It was quite a memorable puzzle experience! The tunes and sounds worked in harmony with the game!

At three levels, it was a bit on the short side, but it makes up for that with the challenge that was beating the last one. Loved this entry! Here's hoping to see more original projects like these in the future! :whale:

Very interesting entry!

I like rhythm games and I guess you could call this game one too. The idea and interpretation of the theme is amazing! It's a very fun game, challenging and pretty damn hard (for me at least, had to play some levels over for many many times). Even so it was a lot of fun!

The game itself is really smooth and looks great. And the music, it was pretty catchy and well done.

Nice job! Cool entry!

Really great idea and execution with lovely polished graphics and some great music that goes super well with the whole mood. Feel as though the two concepts of beating the levels and creating cool music loops go against each other though. The best loop options were often silent or single note bars, the least musically interesting options. Not sure if there is a way to balance around that so they are more in harmony (multiple strategies each producing unique sounds seems the obvious goal) or if that's just the result of this really fun and interesting experiment!
