Things I liked: - great mood (music, sound, colors) - fun game

Improvements: - A progress meter showing how many levels are left in a biome might be useful (or might break your concept here) - I noticed the levels aren't really arranged in difficulty; I went from a very difficult level to a very easy level at one point - a 'golf score' might be a fun component to give as feedback to the player as well as best score and current score for each level - I ragequit somewhere in the 2nd biome so maybe I missed it; but a adding a new mechanic half-way through would be a nice changeup and add some complexity as the player progresses

Bugs: - didn't find any

Great game!

I like the unique concept and the music is great. Gave up in the second green level.

Great game, I really love the physics in the game. I was hooked on it for awhile. I really liked the camera shake and the overall feel of the game. 5/5

That second green level is a *doozy*. This game can be frustratingly difficult, but the mechanics, art, and sound design are all really solid. I love that the eye isn't perfectly round, and the levels were really cleverly designed. I think one thing I would like to see is a better strength indicator for when you're not firing with full power. Only giving feedback when you're maxed makes it really difficult to plot out weaker shots. Still, good work!

I too gave up on the second green level. There seems to be a big difficulty spike on that level. Sorry, I feel bad. I just couldn't do it. :( I like the concept though. It's fun. The art and sound effects are solid too. Thanks for making it!

The movement mechanic is really satisfying. Perhaps this would make things too easy, but I found myself wishing for some indication of where the game thought I had dragged my mouse. Rendering a line between the center of the eye and the player's mouse would still require them to think through the strength of the shot and visualize projection of the line forwards, but would give more feedback and help avoid accidental mistakes.

Nice theme, really liked the mood and the sound effects. However for me this game alternated between fun and frustrating. Kinda like playing golf games it was fun when I picked the right angle and power, frustrating otherwise. Visual indication of direction and power level (other than max) would have been very helpful.

I like the little sound the eye makes when it bounces, along with the accompanying screen shake. The environments and music were nice as well. As other commenters said, the second level in the green area was just too hard. I seriously attempted it for about an hour and just couldn't get over the final jump. It takes so long to get to the top half, and one mistake makes you re-do the whole thing. The game really needs some sort of trajectory indicator so you're not just guessing wildly at where you're going to go. Also, the game could use some other mechanics than just the basic movement. Overall, a very nice presentation, but that one level was just a bit too much.

Who knew that flinging a squishy eyeball around could be so satisfying?

I think the last level is a bit too hard, as I almost gave up (and it seems the other players commenting gave up on the same area). It would also be nice to have some sort of direction indicator, as it is common in pool / golf games, especially if you're going for this tough-as-nails level design. An arrow near the circle pointing to where the eyeball will be thrown at should be enough.

The atmosphere, mood, aesthetic, pixel art, SFX and music are perfection to my eyes and ears, and I laughed out loud with the premise. I had a lot of fun and played it to the very end. Great entry! I'm impressed that you made this in 48 hours! I hope you keep working on the game as I'd love to go back to flinging that charming eyeball in all sorts of places

Certainly not groundbreaking, there must be a million and a half flash games out there that work like this, but that's because it's fun.

Some of the levels were unreasonably unforgiving. Making a mistake often meant getting hurled into an even more difficult challenge, and making a mistake is very very easy. As well, the seemingly uncontrollable bounces make some mistakes easier than easy, entirely unavoidable.

The opening cutscene sold me on the theme. I don't generally score high on theme when the only aspect of the game that fits it is the framing, but there was meaningful effort in the framing that actually added something, and that I appreciated.

I loved the sound, and the art, simple as it is, works well. I appreciated all of the little touches of polish, like the screen shake, the illumination around the eye, and the level transition.

I really wanted to like this and get to the end but it was just too frustrating at times! The art is gorgeous, and the amount of polishing is spot on. The eyeball bouncing recovery felt really good at first but got annoying quickly. The delay between shooting attempts and the difficult level layouts made for a frustrating experience in an otherwise amazing looking game! Setting also felt very interesting. Sadly didn't get to make it to the end to see if there was a cool ending!

This is really good but the controls combined with the level design can be really frustrating

mariszin 2021-05-09 20:58

Darn nice game! The eye sound gets pretty annoying and overwhelms the nice soundtrack. And It would be great to get some arrow to see the direction, the eye will go after release. But overall very good job!

rialgar 2021-05-09 21:09

The noises are disgusting! Well done! I enjoyed the challenge, but I was on the verge of it tipping into frustration on the last level.

tom-ruxley 2021-05-09 21:31

I liked the pixel art and loved the cute little sounds! The level design was cool too. I would've liked an arrow or something to better show in which direction the eye would bounce.

I loved the entire feel of this game but especially the audio! I liked being an eye, I liked bouncing around the squishy levels, and I like the little story going on as it went. What a lovely little game. My only wish is for there to have been more consequences for putting around too much and to be able to flick the eye before it came to a complete stop. Thanks!!

Good game for chill and relax. IMHO It will be great if there will be some kind of challenge component (maybe turns counter) and moving obstacles. However it was funny
