Neat local co-op game. :) It's an interesting mechanic to let the player lose a life but block a path without having to be fired at.

That was a nice touch to add a db for storing high scores. It really gives something to shoot for (pun intended).
I really enjoyed the visuals on the page and menu. It feels very smooth/quality. The dynamic camera was also a nice touch.
Neat twist on it and having to plan out how gravity will affect the bodies in space. Only less than positive thing would be a desire for a cooldown bar to know when I can fire rather than hoping I'm correct until it works. Maybe a lineup of the next x projectiles? Ah, well it's in the past now anyway. Good work.
Making a WebGL build is always a good call if you have the time/experience to try, so that's a great update to make.
Just be careful when trusting the build settings completely :p often times things will break on different platforms, especially when the libraries or plugins get large and complicated.
Fun little game. More of a falling out of space than running, but it's essentially him running downward so I'll count it :eyes:
The game set a nice 8-bit mood - good work there.
I wasn't even aware a dig dug 2 exists, even though I love dig dug. Thank you for bringing it to my attention
Definitely innovative and original. Good work!
Heads up, the level with green laser (might have been the first) and the middle 4 way lasers aimed at each other threw a memory out of bounds exception after I died. You might want to look into it.
@sokuaisushi No worries. Mine needed a bit of patching, so I feel the pain. I'll give it another go :)
@seafishelle, @bigjigglyproductions, @valden, @divy Thank you :)
@fussenkuh Glad to hear :) Thank you, haha. And to answer your question, under 48 hours :sunglasses:
@sentmoraap I really wanted 1337 to live up to its name but had such a crunch with balancing at the end. I played primarily using click and drag so maybe that also changed my experience. Good to note though. And thanks :) I wanted to add as many obstacles that you needed to avoid as possible. And it's a wonderfully sad feeling watching the screen fill up and eventually crashing the system.
@enot487 Since you bring it up, I'll explain the search bar. There's 1 phrase that it was made to recognize. A reference to a show that reminded me that zip bombs are a thing - something that came to mind while brainstorming game ideas. The line only works on standalone builds though, as it closes the app. "Cut the power to the building" in any case with or without spaces.
@oddeyed Thanks~ That'd be an interesting idea. There is at least a way to change the bg atm if you weren't aware. It's not quite night, but it's a black BG (if you right click on the desktop).
@adonisdevs Haha thanks. Agreed. Actually, I've tried your game as well! I just didn't get around to leaving a comment. I love the sound design and humor of it. Sadly if you play this game in a certain way it's not as difficult as I had hoped. Unfortunately, I didn't get to balance it as much as I had hoped with irl time constraints.
@cliffracerx Thank you :) I had a blast re-creating the classic XP feel. I've also made a faux terminal in the past (also on my itch.io if you're interested), so we'll see what's next :smirk:. I'm glad to see clustering AV files being made use of
@number6406 Thanks! Currently the recycle bin has a lower capacity on higher difficulties, but it would be nice to have had greater changes. Or at least a better difficulty curve for 1337.
@ely-shaffir Thank you~ I'm usually not a fan of infinite runner style games; I'd rather have an end goal (or persistent upgrades that affect game play in more than just time/numbers). Glad to hear it went well.
@commanderstitch Ah thank you buddy; much appreciated. I'm sure someday you will, especially with enough time and determination.
@zirrrus haha. Thank you; glad to hear. Playing the game without full screen ruins the BSOD feels. It's definitely an uneasy visual to see even if you know it's coming - oh man have I seen my fair share of BSODs in the past few years...
This is a really creative use of the theme. I'm not sure if it's doing so, but an increase in health and mana spawn rates would help the game rely on user reaction times rather than hoping for specific items. So if your team decides to make a post-jam build I would hope it helps.
That was a really fun entry. The acceleration in gameplay with a perma death timer to worry about added stress that probably could've been avoided, but it was feasible to play the game without losing so long as you're paying attention. Though it does kind of go against the name having idle in it lol
Neat jam entry! If feels very friendly and complete. And I love that interpretation of the theme in both ways.
Very peaceful game and humorous sfx. Great job! The one thing I wish was that it started ramping up more quickly then had a slower acceleration later into it.
