Very atmospheric game. I liked this strange voice, the noise on the screen and the monotonous music. All of it deeply immerses you in the game. Using the console makes the gameplay quite unusual. I tried to play a few times, and each time I had enough energy only to find a pair of laptops. Also I did not understand how to switch between existing drones, and I had some problems with the camera after creating the second drone. What if the narrative will be presented in parts after discovering each laptop? Anyway, this is a great game!

Very interesting concept! The idea with the RNA creates a curious and dynamic gameplay. The menu and interface look neat, the sprites and effects are soft and beautiful. It's great that there is a rating of players. Inertia during the movement greatly increases the difficulty, and this is good. The music is pleasant and, in my opinion, fits the strange world of the game.

A few remarks. I think that when firing at a virus, you need to get into it too many times to kill. Also I didn't understand what exactly gives skill "attack". It seemed to me that after I received this, I killed the virus when I collided with it, but not always. And I think that colliding with White Blood Cell reduce too many hp after dialing 10 RNA. And finally sometimes I stuck to the walls of the level and could not budge. I did not understand why it happened.

Surprisingly, as @juri noticed, I really came up with an idea for the game, very similar to yours. But my game is not so polished :smile: Anyway well done! And good luck to your team!

First of all, I like the sound and the effect of shaking the camera when you shoot, it allows to get great pleasure just by shooting, that is the basic mechanics of the game. Bubbles are needed to reduce the speed of the player, and in order to maintain high speed it is necessary to shoot them. This mechanics brings some variety to the gameplay, but the constant pushing of X is too annoying. And I had some problems with movement control after picking up some bubbles - turns was inverted. @interpol, yes, your speed decreases when you approach the level boundaries, but the speed of sharps and spheres is constant in every point. I tried to limit the movement along the boundaries of the level, since more enemies are concentrated in the center.

I tried to design difficulty in such way, that you have to decrease all three holes simultaneously and move between layers continuously. When you close one hole, enemies become faster and the penalty at a collision with them becomes larger.

Yes, maybe the interface looks too cumbersome. I wanted to reduce the player's view to the square, since the level itself is square.

Concerning the theme, I would put it this way: "Bad things grow in your world, and with careless actions you increase their growth". Probably, this is not quite clear about the theme, but it feels close, as for me.

I planned to add different kinds of sharps and abilities for the player, but unfortunately there was not enough time for this.

@steve-johnson, this is the most frequent comment about frustration in the search for spheres, and I agree, it is really need to add some markers. Concerning the invisible walls, did you mean the boundaries of the level? I tried to denote them with a darker color and slowing down the speed of moving as you approach them. And I think if there were as many spheres as there were enemies, it would be too easy to close holes.

@ciaranw, yes, I will definitely add the indication of what layer you are on. I had this thought, but I forgot it :slight_smile:

@kodiqi, maybe you right about the interface font, but it's not too easy to find the right font for this strange world. But I'll try! And yes, the "health" bars look rather clumsy, I should work on them. I did not plan that players will control the character simply by holding left click :smile: I think this will be fixed.

Nice mini-game! Sprites and interface are neat and effect of moving stars looks pretty interesting. But stars in some reason are in front of the falling astronauts. Music fits the atmosphere of the game, but that sound of lose is too sharp and annoying. I think it would be more interesting if there were different falling things besides astronauts. And if you click on them, there will be some effect like slowing down astronauts or freeze. So, congrats you with your first jam! Well done!

I couldn't build megapolis of grain and dead bugs, but it was very exciting! At the beginning of the game, the resources are accumulating rather slowly, but there comes a certain point when there are hordes of bugs around your throne and you are scared. It seemed to me that the number of attacking bugs increase depending on the grain received as a whole per game, and does not depend on the grain that is in the vault at the moment. This greatly complicates the gameplay and, in my opinion, at some point, there are conditions in which you can not in any way affect the situation and fight off the bugs.

Cute game =) Cowboy cactus and mustachioed mutants are very nice! And I like the temp of gameplay, the change of calm intervals and waves of enemies. For some reason it took me a long time to understand that I need to pick up the bomb to use it. And sometimes the cactus movement gets stuck when I use the right mouse button. A very touching game. Intresting narration, nice art and music. The only thing I didn't understand was the behavior of the bearballs. Do they react to the player? It seems that they just move back and forth, regardless of the player's attack.

@johan-vischer, thank you for advice. Yes, I have problems with position of UI elements and in some reason screen high is cropped.

@anstabo, it's a chinese legend I heard a long time ago. Also this theme was in MythBusters :)

@wrenpirate, I am very impressed with your knowledge of сhinese folk clothes! Unfortunately, I did not have time to study this issue. About the fact that the game is simple. I barely passed the level myself. Tester alpha version of the game (my wife) could not pass beyond the middle. So I had to reduce the damage from the obstacles and increase the player's health. There was not enough time for a more subtle solution to this problem.

@devwithmartinus, yes, there are some problems with difficulty. I think, mechanics of restoring health by some things can fix this.

@jerripo, I totally agree with you. I was planning on adding something like flying saucers of rice to restore health, but did not have time to deadline.

Wonderful graphics and music. And so many levels! This is rarely seen on the LD. But it seemed to me that solving pill puzzles at random when you don't know which pill will remove which block is not the best idea. Otherwise very nice game!

First of all, cool preview picture! Intresting idea, but the movement of bulldozer seems to me too hard and slow. Sometimes one kind of trash stucks in another and it's very difficult to move them. Jefferson and aliens looks very nice, but gameplay is pretty hard to understand. It is not clear where the money to buy seeds comes from. How to buy seeds. How to switch between them. And I think that the attack on aliens is better to change from space to mouse click.

Exciting gameplay, funny character and nice music! Level looks good too. But I think that there is too much inertion in movement, it's pretty hard to control that blue thing. Also, I don't understand why camera rotation is limited. Anyway, cute game!
