Wow great graphics! Did you guys create all these assets from scratch? They look great. I know that speeding up the energy transfer is an upgrade, but the drain rate is way too slow at the beginning. You just sit there forever waiting for the power cells to drain. Also, I fell off the edge of the map. But a really solid entry, probably the most elaborate one that I have played! Great work - wish there was some music to go with it!

Game is graphically so good for a jam game, but gameplay should be improved. I would like to mention couple of things:
- Game needs some music obviously. - That would be better if the gun had recoil animation. - I had problem moving the mouse in the main computer where we started it was just locked at the beginning. - Jumping could be a bit more easy, feels like gravity is too high. - Projectile speed and rate is really low, cat get a good feeling of using the weapon. - Better UI and objective indicators would make the game more comprehensible
Great work, hope to see the game being worked on further.
The game feels kinda empty, i think harvesting energy could use some kind of animation. I like the art style though!

Thanks for feedback! Yes, all assets was created from scratch during jam. That's why gameplay got so little love :( And there is obvious problem with mouse control for windowed mode. Not much excuses really, scope of the game was too big.
hey dude Great graphix Bro! Radical game, really loved the world!
I think that the game that you had in mind was to big for just 72 hours. The visuals are very nice if you made it from scratch. Maybe the game is a bit too slow at the begining and the lack of sound doesn't help :(
Good entry though! Congrats!

Great graphics and visuals but like others said gameplay is lacking a little. Hope you get around to that post-compo ;) Great work though!

Great graphics, level designe. But gameplay too slow. Battereis drained so slowly, mouse sensitivity low, and enemy bullets fasten then own. For LD good game.

Agreed. Pacing is slow. As always: "if I had one more day to playtest..." :)

The environment is really well done, good job on that and on the art! However I have to agree with the others that the gameplay especially before getting the first movement speed and transfer speed upgrade is a bit slow and more of a chore than actually fun. I think with some music and tweaking of the mechanics this could be a really fun game to play!

Pretty enjoyable graphics, quite evident that is where the most time was spent. Gameplay feels quite clunky in comparison, UI didn't give much indications on what I was supposed to do and I got shot through walls and died to what I think were invisible bullets. With music you could add a true sense of exploration to the world as well.
There's a lot of potential to work it further if you so choose though. Great job!

Very good job, congratulations! :) I really like the graphics, the setting, and the mood. I'd love the game 100% more if it would not be that time consuming to achieve something (like draining a battery cell). I like the upgrad functionality, nice touch. Are you planning to make a post-jam version?

Thanks for the feedback!
As for post-jam version: we're going to take a break for a few days, get some rest and only then we decide witch direction to follow :)

Like everyone else has already said, the graphics are great. Some background music could have really spiced it up but it's an enjoyable experience as it is. The bullets were a little slow for my taste but that's just my preference. Again though, the look and feel of everything is way beyond what I expected and it's overall entertaining. Great work!

For some reason this reminds me of all the old fashioned shooters that came out ages ago but with better graphics. It could use some improvements such as ambient sounds and a bit of tweaking to the control of the character but it was quite well done for a jam game! Good job!
I quite enjoyed this. For some developers exploration equates to simply walking around, but here you managed to create a hostile environment surprisingly effectively with some basic turrets and patrol robots.
I would have liked to play more, but once I died (tried only to upgrade my speed and energy harvesting rate, didn't work that!) having to start from the very beginning just didn't feel worth it. A simple solution would be to save the current progress every time the player visits the upgrade machine. That would have kept me going.
Good work!

great job @royoyo keep up!!!!
I like how you need to collect power by spending it on stats (if I understood right). I wish to have mouse sensitivity control and bullets to move more quickly.
My tip for those who're gonna play: *Upgrade movement speed and maximum energy capacity first*.
Bugs and glitches: Sometimes it's hard to collect energy because power cells have such a strange area of interaction: it is a step or two away from cell, and you can't collect energy while standing right in front of it. Same with a terminal.
Good luck!

Overall this is a pretty well executed game. It only needs some polishing to make the game-play more fluid but u get full points on mood ;)

I liked your level "canyon" design a lot! Enemies are effective too. Strange mouse slowness/lack of sensibility though.

I like the environment design is cool, although the controls felt a little sluggish to me or something. The overall concept reminded of No Man's Sky's resource gathering / ship refueling. Overall nice job!

What a No Man's Sky :D good game and well done. My main issues where while shooting and moving around, the projectiles been spawned in a totally wrong positions. Also i didn't have a good experience with the collisions, idk if they are not accurate or you didn't have time to carve them well to fit the meshes.

Great game, I really like the graphics, it's really beautyfull, the sound of the shoots are good but need some effects when hit something, and more important than that is make the bullets go much more faster haha. All in all... Nice game!!!
Great graphics and definitely has much potential, but as said before try to add some music and other sound effects without it it can become a bit boring in my opinion. Also (is probably just me) i could not figure out how to distribute the power i could only close the terminal but not click anything. With some music, sounds and some otehr tweaks i would play this again
Great graphics, gameplay is little difficult with the slow projectiles but that's very nice
I think when you make a game you need to figure out the core concepts and take the time to make sure they are done well. I saw the core concepts you were thinking of, however; I don't think you fulled fleshed out how you wanted them to feel in the end. This has lead to the game experience being lessened. However the idea was there and it felt original and like you really wanted this kind of game to exist and that is what game making is all about! -Rubi

Very nice graphic! Many improvements significantly diversify the game, I especially liked jumping =) The only thing is that there is too much silence. And I had some problems with the mouse when I played in browser.
Beautiful game. I would suggest to improve shooting, and maybe add some health bar or animation, to show if you shot on target.

Big Thanks for your feedback, everyone! We're planning to continue with this idea, so we really appreciate it!
The graphics were amazing, but the actual gameplay is messed up. The cursor should be locked in the middle to avoid any clamping when you turn around. The UI on the bottom left is hard to read sometimes.
The WebGL version is horrible slow on my system and I couldn't find a Linux version, so I was not able to play your game.

Spent ~30 mins to complete.
This game triggers curiosity and exploration in a good way.
Some issues I found: - Max HP value does not increase above 100 (so if you have maxhp upgrades it will be 160/100) - Grind part where you stare at a battery is not very fun. I think this could be solved by grabbing a battery into my backpack and then it will transmit energy slowly (so I can move and do pew pew). It should be not allowed to take another battery until the first one is fully depleted. - Enemies keep shooting while death animation. - Jumping on edges/cliffs is not very predictable.
Here is my playthrough:

Add some FX on sand field on this realy cool level

I played it for few minutes, but couldn't do much, because all the UI is super small on 4K monitors. Please add proper scaling, so I can try to play it again. Thanks!

I really like what you did with the theme. The game is fun, engaging and challenging.
Jumping it's a bit hard, as you always jump the max distance. It should be proportional with the time you're actually pressing the jump button. Also, some colliders are interrupting the jump and it's hard to predict whether or not you'll succeed. By the way, I got no damage from falling from high ground. I reached the top of the world and then fall, but didn't die.
The level layout is great and enemies are well placed.
You should add more feedback for actions. For example, when you improve your stats, there's no way to tell if you reach the max level (I guess I did because I couldn't buy any more in some stats). In addition, add some sparks or other FX when enemies are hit, that way the player will know it.
Maybe you should add an extra option for "checkpoint". Like, spending 200 energy on creating a clone. That way, if you die, you don't have to restart from zero which is a bit frustrating.
And, of course, the art is amazing. I read your article about it too.
Great job!
looks good. several good elements. shooting blue ammo, moving in a world an large world, and enemies ae available.

Amazing 3D graphics for a jam! Great work! I loved to walk and discover the world you created. But I had some problems to play: - I have an azerty and not a qwerty keyboard so I can't play properly and if I use the arrows I can't use the mouse and 'E' and 'space' keys. - The mouse sensitivity to watch around you is way to high so it's really frustating.
But great game overall.

Nice visuals. The gameplay was a bit slow for me (not a fan of mining power) and I died at first encounter with the enemies (the weapon didn't seam to affect them or may be I didn't shot enough). The jumps were too short as others mentioned too. Generally, it was fun but some gameplay aspects can be better. Good job.
Really good game! The graphics and the mood are amazing. Good job!

Interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYbvh0qo8Vs

So my two main takeaways from playing this are thus: -Controls are difficult to use. I couldn't pinpoint any one reason; just that jumping felt wonky, collisions felt strange and camera movement felt hard. -Gameplay was good. I'm a sucker for upgrade system games. Other than that, sound was alright and graphics were pretty good. In the end, this makes for a good entry; nice job!
I liked your lowpoly art
