Reminded me a lot of Game & Watch and a very nice take on the theme. 5/5 Well done!

Reminded me a lot of Game & Watch and a very nice take on the theme. 5/5 Well done!
I really like where you took the concept! I just wish I could have plucked the hair on the other people.
The game broke and nothing worked when I clicked the tutorial, but after refreshing it was good. The tutorial was more confusing than the game because I didn't know was going on while reading, but the game itself was pretty self explanatory. Also the music is super ominous lol
Very cute! Felt like I slid off the platforms too easily, but I enjoyed it.
Cool concept but I found the controls difficult, especially with catching the hat after throwing it.
Liked the concept, but the controls got in the way of me really enjoying the game
That was pretty fun! The kickback on some of those weapons were ridiculously strong.
Very nice and polished, and it reminded me a lot of The World Ends with You. Probably because the street's perspective is similar. Also the Skullgirls inspired interface worked very well. The game fit the theme in a meta sort of way because the more fans you have, the more your opponent can convert with their ult. Instead of taking control of all of the NPCs I would ult about half. Took me a bit to figure that out so I didn't get the best time :<<< Fun game though!
victory.PNG
Very well crafted! Great graphics and sound. I didn't like that my target moved when I moved my character though.
Very cute! I really like this type of puzzle game, it was a lot of fun.
Had some difficulty picking things up/fixing leaks, I think having a cursor or something would have helped. I did really like that the sound helped me locate where the leaks were.
Score was 9582. Very fun, and very polished!
A simple design, but well implemented. Sometimes you could cause the sprite to walk backwards though.
The artifact was in the second room I went into, so I beat it pretty quickly lol. Looks like it could be a lot of fun as a full game! Opening doors takes a bit too long for my tastes, but maybe I'm just impatient :D
Simple concept, but well developed. It was a bit too hard for my personal preference, but I enjoyed it.
Cool concept-- really liked how you represented sound.
Looked really nice! Controls felt a bit slow.
Felt pretty good to play! A bit on the easy side once you get the hang of it though.
Interested concept, tho the game lagged quite a bit for me. Was a bit confused about what I was supposed to do for a while.
Pretty good UX for navigation and was a pretty fun arcady wave shooter fps. Only thing is the shotgun bullet pellets travel way too slowly relative to player movement speed. When you are strafing it seems the bullets travel almost diagonally because of the velocity direction addition. I was also sad that I couldn't bhop :((( but nice job with the game!
Not entirely sure what I was doing, but it was a lot of fun doing it! Also I fell off the edge of the world.
I think I ran into a bug at one point where the controls weren't responding. I couldn't drop something and got caught. The art and animation look really complete- good job!
Had a lot of fun playing, got all the way to 2000 coins before I quit! For some feedback, since you can sell resources for as much as they cost, it doesn't really matter what tiles you put your cities on, and the tiles with resources worth 1 coin are just useless. I'd rather put my city on livestock and sell one to buy 2 wheat than put it on wheat.
Probably my favorite game so far! A tad bit easy to not die, but still a fun enough challenge in other aspects (inventory management, coins, etc).
I liked the game, had fun beating it. It could have used a little more clarity in your goals though. It took me a while to figure out that I was trying to get achievements.
At first I didn't know what the low pitched beep then I saw it was giving me more ammo. The first time I ran out and didn't know how to get more. Also the worms have a bit of trouble getting around the table so I just camped by the ammo and watched them dash by me. Pretty fun twin stick shooter
The music was pretty nice and moody - just maybe could have used a bit of EQing on the high end - the hats were a little grating. Also I wasn't sure how it was connected to the them, then it hit me - you're in space, duh
It was a pretty solid game, but it could use more feedback to the player as they're clicking on things. It took me a while to figure out why it sometimes wouldn't build (worker shortages).
Took an hour to get all of the cards - buff drop rate pls and let me dust the duplicates. We can appreciate someone else adding a little bit of ecchi to LD as our games are more on the hentai side :>
Got 3785, game's pretty nice and hard. I really appreciate the bullet time
It felt kind of slow-paced and I really wish I could control the character's movement more than just when they just.
Really cute art but man the camera shake gave me a massive headache.
Sounds like you enjoyed making the soundeffects lol, I like the little laugh during the soundtrack
@honey There's no way to fire any harlots and the point of the new applicants is that you have to sell off your old workers to make room for new ones.
@scott-purcival @rayne @honey
We're glad you enjoyed the writing given that it was our first time writing smut :>
.
@honey Yeah, if you get their relationship to 10 they will offer to buy.
I love the handdrawn aesthetic - the game's a bit on the easy side though, you have a ton of health and there a a bunch of health pickups.
Your control scheme was a bit cumbersome and your graphics were a bit hard to decipher what was going on.
Enjoyed the concept but I absolutely sucked ass. Really liked the interpretation of the theme, and I liked all the patterns for the planets. But sometimes the planets would keep growing even after I released the mouse button, and it skipped me from level 2 to level 4.
Cool concept. I played against my friend who has much bigger hands than me and I got trounced.
Rip the captain's tendies. F
The art/animation was very unique and super cool! Some of the sound effects felt a little out of place tho, like one of them sounds like meowing? And I was kind of hoping to have more areas to explore, but it was large enough to not feel cramped.
Art/animation were great, and I really liked the audio. But sometimes the controls felt a bit sluggish, especially when I tried to jump, and I think the mechanics may have been a bit over simple, but it was a fun game!
Interesting take on the theme! Not really sure if it counts as a rhythm game tho, I was expecting a bit more of a challenge
That was a lot of fun! It gave me a lot of nostalgia. I liked the addition of the background noise. It felt like it didn't get very difficult tho, I kind of expected it to amp up a lot quicker.
The gameplay was a bit simple, but I really enjoyed the game anyway. The mood and art were great, and it played very well. Good job!
Greg's such a bad boyfriend, he can't even walk two steps without almost dying. Cursed people aren't really my type 🤣
I quite enjoyed this. I thought the idea behind it was very solid. I played with the keyboard, so the controls were a bit clunky, but I could see them being better on controllers. As some others mentioned, the pacing and level design could be improved, but I think in the end the core gameplay was good.
Really beautiful game. I do wish there was more to do, just so I would have an excuse to play it for longer!
The art was great, and I could see what you were aiming for, but the gameplay was a little lacking. I think the mood worked well though, with the changing sun!
The game crashed as soon as I pressed space. I guess my team member gets a free win because they stayed connected
Why is the exe named mommyworld? Also is this a stealth waifu collector type game? I'm on to you.
The art and the ambience were nice, but the game was very short, and a bit confusing.
Enjoyed the ambience of this game a lot. Controls felt good too.
Fun game love the concept! I went into one of the houses and the rival cats were invisible.
The sounds's really nice in this one but I hate that you put in the cardinal sin of platforming: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LeapOfFaith
It looks and plays pretty well though, nice job.
I liked the game, and the idea of sacrificing the elements for power. I think it might have worked better in a longer game though, where I cared more about them, and about the effects losing them would have on the world.
@vlad-dae @fre @designernap @toge @xarras @sandpile @moski @disperse Thank you all for the comments, and for trying out the game! A lot of you were asking about the demon progression, so we wanted to let you know that we just uploaded a version with it and the event deck fixed. You can win the game now!
@itsn8 Thanks for letting us know, it was definitely not intentional. We've now fixed that in this new version.
@primitive-concept You're correct. Relics are primarily used to summon upper tier demons.
@heartless @loadsofmana Thanks for letting us know! We're probably going to do a post-LD build later this week, and we'll try to catch some more of these bugs for that.
@gamefive Running out of food (prisoners need food every turn) and having too much overdue rent will cause a game over. Sacrifice prisoners to summon demons and you won't have as many mouths to feed.
@honey Summoning Satan will drain your food quickly (15+ prisoners eat a lot). Stocking up a lot of food is still fairly easy though if you aren't kidnapping people. We figured that it would be ok for there to be an easier way to play the game, since people who want to play more competitively can attempt more risky plays in order to summon Satan in as few turns as possible.
The animations were very well done! The suicide mechanic made the levels feel repetitive to me, but this isn't really my genre of game anyway. The sound was good too.
I don't normally like physics based puzzle games but I haven't seen this type of mechanics before so I had fun with it, nice job
Had a lot of fun with this! The controls were easy to use, and the art style was great. I found it was a little too easy to just rush the boss though.
Really wish that it would just restart the level you died on. It could give you an option to restart completely in case you wanted to reset your shurikens, but this way made it really inefficient to retry later levels. The art was great though, and the controls were smooth!
Had fun with this! The mood was really nice, and the music really helped set the tone of the game. I didn't get as frustrated as I usually get playing platformers, and I actually reached the end of the game!
I'm bad at this detective stuff - took me 3 tries to get it. Pretty fun and nice at atmosphere with the music and feel
Really loved this, fantastic work all around! Played multiple times versus the AI and versus my team members and enjoyed every minute of it. The only critique I can come up with is about balance - I think the tentacle arm guy who can pitch the ball any direction is OP.
The controls were sort of clunky, but I think it goes with the theme- you can't spend too much time lining up your shot when you're being chased by zombies. The art was really nice, and the day/night cycle was a nice touch.
A bit repetitive, but a solid gameplay loop for a jam game
That was pretty fun, I love rhythm games. I think having to dodge barrels at the same time sort of detracted from the rhythm game aspect, tho. The art was really nice- great job!
Brawlers aren't really my thing, but the humor and graphics were spot on. I liked the voice acting and how you interpreted the theme, but the controls were pretty hard for me to get used to.
@minibobbo I don't think it was really a problem with controls, I'm just not as used to this type of brawler and my timing was pretty bad lol
cropshot.PNG Great game! I had so much fun that I showed my teammate, who proceeded to trounce me (his score above). This is the kind of quality game that I aspire to during a jam. No complaints whatsoever.
Very fun! I like that you could use the ducks and stuff to distract the dogs.
lol this definitely challenged my ability to type by memory. I think this might be a good game to teach kids to type?
Cute game. Took be a bit to get the hang of the timing. The concept's nice, but I think it would have been more intuitive if I were typing out actual words
This game has pretty much everything I like - it's a raycast era shooter, bullet hell, card games... only thing is I don't really like deckbuilding games that much, but this is an exception. There's many good games it reminds me of: Max Payne, Hotline Miami, Superhot, a bit of Megaten comes to mind for some reason...
You all killed it, only issue I had was the bugged sensitivity in full screen but it's perfectly fine windowed. Great job!
That was a really difficult game! I could not get past the carrot catching stage, but overall it looks real polished!
Really enjoyed this one! The art and sound effects were spectacular! It did get a bit repetitive pretty quickly though.
Really well done game, just wish I wasn't so bad at games :'( Took me a while to beat it
Nice acapella soundtrack lol. Reminded me a lot of Newgrounds sim, if anyone remembers that game
Interesting concept, but I felt that the controls were a bit too unwieldy for me to really get any meditative aspects out of it. I liked the idea someone mentioned earlier of moving it to VR
I liked it! I wish I could have had multiple chefs working on things simultaneously, tho. The graphics were super cute and I had fun.
Excellently done! My only complaint is the harsh sounds towards the end, as someone mentioned before.
The gameplay cycle wasn't very intuitive, it took me a while to figure out how to do things. The graphics were nice, but it felt a bit slow. I don't think all the commands were very balanced. It was very cute though.
Got my ass kicked twice on the first match but once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun! Great combination of genres, it still felt fast paced despite the turn-based gameplay.
@Akanthaur @kovareka @Yngvarr @Sintel We're so proud of all of you for beating the game!
@those-30-ninjas Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep it in mind as we try to polish the game up a bit more
@Mr-Field Me too buddy
@Moski When working on Infernus last time, we were pretty stretched thin and felt like we didn’t get it completed to our satisfaction. This time, several members of our team were busy over parts of the weekend, so we decided to keep our scope small. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to produce something a little bit more flashy :D
@Toge @Gio- I'm glad you liked it! For the final outfit, you have to use the powerups during the challenge.
@CG-Fred The lady on our team wants to remind you that ladies can like titties too
This was adorable! I found romancing Akemi was really easy, but then the other girls just would not give me the time of day ): Great art and music this is definitely a favorite
Fun game! I think you mixed the two genres really well, and the stolen credits/ammo card was a nice touch. By the third wave they were coming pretty fast and my memory got pretty crappy lol. Great job!
I think the music was off sync with the dots- it might be because I had it fullscreen? Cute concept, and I liked the art.
Wonderful art! I felt that the dating sim part of this game was a little understated, but the top scroller was well made and very challenging!
I wonder if all that blood raining down helps the crops grow Fun game! Hopping up through the clouds and slaughtering people was really satisfying. Once I unlocked archers and pikeman it got pretty brutal. I think I would have liked to be able to attack also.
I really liked the game! It was a lot of fun, albeit a bit short, but that just left me wanting more which is always good :D
i made it to the end & it was really fun good job! i like that you don't have to torch every area and can kind of just click around until you find the graves? also it might just be because im not the fastest when it comes to going back and forth but its faster to click the graves a bunch rather than confirming missiles lol other than that i really like the idea for this and it looks nice as well!!! :)
Pretty cool concept. I liked the map. The FPS mode was fun, but it didn't seem like there was much to do in the RTS mode. The zombie death animation was a little slow, which made it feel unresponsive when you killed them.
