Although action packed wrestling and turn based card games sound like an impossible combination, you managed to pull it off and create a fun game. The visual descriptions of the matches, combined with nicely done NES-like graphics, sounds and a fitting resolution give the game a cool retro vibe.
Great game! Reminds me of pokemon a bit. My first fight was a lot harder than expected but i think i got the hang of it! Now excuse me as i continue playing...

Great job on the consistent color palette. It really tied everything together into a great looking product. My favorites were the crowd and the health UI. Paired with the consistent visuals this is a great spin on Wrestling and Card games. Great work! HIP TOSS, BABY!

Cool idea, but I'm honestly a little confused. I never really understood why card interactions like 'the wrestlers crash directly into each other' would happen. Damage-dealing felt luck-based, especially with the aerial moves, and I never really understood the mechanics behind the submission holds. In my first run the second opponent took me down from nearly full health with a submission move. Though the gameplay felt opaque, the bells sounded good and the textual storytelling was on point. It woud've been cool to have narrative commentary along with move descriptions. Good work!

@piscythe Thank you for the feedback!
I feel there is probably a lot of stuff I should have outlined in the game description like the approach I took to move priority & additional effects. The clashing thing was because both players used the same kind of move, I colored the enemy to indicate their preference which was kind of hinted at on the challenger screen. There is an accuracy rating on each card, aerial moves especially have the lowest accuracy so that's probably why they felt a bit random. As for the submission holds, that was broken up until about an hour before submission. Afterward I discovered it using the same formula for pinning made it a tad more broken, especially with the blue fighter.
There is definitely a lot more I would liked to have done with this, expanded narrative included.
I like the multiple victory conditions, although I was confused at first when I won despite my opponent being at half health. This theme is really interesting and the sound and the art style fit together well. I'd love to see a more fleshed out version with more interactions between the cards.
Nice combination that fits the topic! Also I like the retro style.
This was a really cool concept dude. I liked it!
Got my ass kicked twice on the first match but once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun! Great combination of genres, it still felt fast paced despite the turn-based gameplay.
Cool idea! The only thing I did not really like was that a match could just suddenly end because of a hold attack... But I guess, this is how it works, right?
Overall, I like it!
This is excellent, and I love the humour and flavour text! Great job overall

Very fun. I loved the art style, sounds, and music. The wrestler descriptions and move descriptions were very good. I'm not sure I fully figured out how the mechanics worked. At one point, I went for a choke hold and won on the first turn! I imagine the audience might have been a little disappointed with that match. Later, I realized that I could just spam the spacebar until I won by pure chance. But it was still fun just to see the random results of the fights.

I feel like I'd understand the game a little better if I understood wrestling, but it's a cool combo and done well.

A very fun game! I liked the audio and the themes you combined :)
I just wish there were mouse controls, at first - as every good player - I didn't read the how to play and started to click like a maniac.
Congratulations!!

The sound and visuals got me thinking about Punch Out! Nice! The idea is really clever and it works! I just wished it had some animations so that I could actually get a visual queue to what to pick as my next move. :)
Pretty cool game, I enjoyed playing it.
