Oh noooo, poor little elves :(
In all seriousness though the game is great. I has fun and made me chuckle. I was feeding gnomes to a deadly machine while saying Merry Christmas XD
The art and sound is also really good.
If I had to add something it will be some screaming sounds to the elves + some gore sound when you throw them into the machine. Some kind of clear objective/end goal.
But overall good creative entry :)

@gerardb Thanks for the play! I had a ton of fun making the game! I appreciate your feedback and will definitely take that into account for my next entry!

Looks good and was fun to control! I wasn't really thinking about the color coding as I was playing and just went for any color I saw. Maybe it could score you on time or something?

This has a really great vibe. The art and music really set the tone for this to be a chill exploration game. The humor was actually more subtle then I expected and the VO cracked me up. Great stuff!
Great job. I like the art and the sound. The core mechanic is solid and well implemented. The game was maybe a bit long for such a limited gameplay set. But at least it did give me enough time to explore the map, which seemed to be pretty well laid out. I agree about the fact that some sort of gore of elfs getting ground into guts would have helped. Great entry.
There was I think a glitch where sometimes there'd be a bunch of elves around and I'd try to suck them up but they wiz past me and fly around everywhere. Other then that this was a lot of fun to play good job!
The sounds's really nice in this one but I hate that you put in the cardinal sin of platforming: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LeapOfFaith
It looks and plays pretty well though, nice job.

Well it was too long and it was hard to find the machine that destroys elfs. But it was fun and enjoyable game. nice entry good job.

Haha, that was dark. The gameplay may have been repetitive, but the mood and theme is definitely 4.5 or 5/5 from me. I feel like I became more of an evil person from all the loss of these poor elves.
Neat twist on elves making toys. Didn't realize that most of the level was below where you started (thought it was a pit) until I read some comments here. I like how there's a "pack limit" so you have to return back and empty your vacuum (encourages knowing + exploring the level). It's a nice balanced package where nothing feels out of place.

@jessicawall I think you can only carry like 11 of each color elf, and then any more of that color just get sucked past you instead of sucked up.
Neat little game for sure. I got confused and thought I was breaking something when my jumps just turned into flying, and then I *did* break something when I flew over the top of the level and right off the bottom of the world. Luckily I could fly though, and made it back okay. I also wish I ready the instructions beforehand. I wasted a lot of time on low-level elves near the chipper when I should have been exploring the bowels of the level hunting yellows.
Overall, yeah, it's a little simple. But it made me smile, and that's pretty great.
ok i guess. the art, music, and sound were great. the concept had potential but i dont think you delivered well on it. Collecting x amount of elves isnt very interesting to me and the game felt like a grind because there were no meaningful decisions to make.

Fun game, would have liked some gore particle effects or audible screams when I sacrificed the elves. Also not sure why I was limited to 11 of each kind of elf... I think I would have rather just been able to suck everything up and make the required cap higher. From a gameplay perspective I'm guessing it was added to force pathing back to the sleigh? Great work!

Liked the game, i think maybe adding a time limit or something could help make it a bit more "game-y".
The funny game! Really enjoyed playing it! Good job!
