Game goes a little slow, but it makes for a good competition with a friend for the race to get in a punch!

@RockinWatson Thank you for playing our game! :D
The Game is Good try to add some sound effects and music around to make it fell more alive! You can check out our submission too if you want  LD Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/incompatible-rally
The graphics is lovely, the bots are so cute. Interesting idea to say the least, although gameplay may have suffer because of the tough controls. Nonetheless me and my gf had a lot of fun just trying! Thanks for making this!
@Wassim definitely will be trying your game soon! Thank you for playing our game :D and yes we need sound effects and music to get that mood right!
I love the idea ! But it's hard to get strategic, with all there is to do to make a combo. Awesome graphics!
@GastricSparrow thank you so much for taking the time to try our little game :D and am glad you and your gf enjoyed it!
I have a macbook, and player2 cannot play :P Also I couldn't get a robot to fight :(. Good graphics tho.
It looks so cute and I really want to try it, but I can not get anyting done. I hit Space, get the purple part, than hit space again and the part disappears. How do I play?
@Mau oh my you are right imma ping my partner in crime to see if we have a fix for this! Thank you for dropping by !
@pestodesign hi thanks for dropping by! You would need to hold on to space to carry that part and drop it off at one of the two workstations behind :D various combinations for the different moves when the board is built bring it to the control station of your bot and it will issue the command for the move you created :D
@Mau Let me boot up my mac mini and give it a go, will get back to you.
@pestodesign You will have to hold the action key to hold on to the components.
@5you it is XD you are free to try sabotaging the other player and grabbing their parts too.. but I didn't tell you that ;D
Love the characters. super cute robots. to be fair the full graphical goodies is fab :)
Thankyou for the game
@mattpattie2 thank you for giving our game a go! We really appreciate it! :D
@yunix sabotaging is the first thing I tried once I got hold the the gameplay mechanics !
@mau Works fine on my Mac mini. Hmm I'm guessing you played the earlier build where player 2 uses the right ctrl key. I have since changed player 2 action key to right shift key. Try refreshing your browser?
Oh, silly me! OK, finished our game late at night, did not figure this out :D OK, got it, nice idea!
@pestodesign Yea, we all had very little sleep last night. Thanks!
I like the idea. A bit slow actions, but good! I had to read the comments to know about the 'space-hold-to-carry' mechanic xD. Good work!
@Rick95 thanks for giving our game a go!!
Got to go back and read the comments to actually understand that I have to hold space to move the parts unless I wanted them to disappear! Which I instantly forgot after I succesfuly made first command plate so it disappeared soon after I let go of space after I picked it up and then the basic plate dispenser (dark green) bugged out and stopped working - it only gave me glitched half plate which could not be picked up and also never gave me another working plate. Besides that, the controls feels a bit floaty, I think that is partly on purpose (as the ride on that little wheel), but still think it is a bit too much for my liking. The idea I find briliant and with more precise control (and few debugging rounds, but hey, 72 hours) bursting with potential. The game is fun when you finally get what you need to do and the artstyle is really cute and awesome! Thanks for making this, enjoyed plaing it!
I took some time to understand how the game works, but after that I really had a good time playing it despite it's a little bit slow. The art style is amazing, good job in this! Overall is a good a well polished game.
Please, take a look at my game too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/confessional
I played the game with my roommate. Both of us thought it was well made creative game. Only problems we had was the display of the combos and not liking that if you don't hold down the button the piece disappears. If you expand upon the game I think music and sound effects would add a lot. It's a very innovative game that used the theme amazingly. Also the art is extremely well done. Great job.

The lil' bots are freaking adorable - love those guys! I Played it with my better half and while she was not very keen on it, I was. What a shame there's no sound.
I'd have liked: * components/instructions not disappearing on letting go of the action button, maybe just putting them on the floor (and saving it for later) * ~~possibly a shared instructions pool~~ mentioning to players they in fact can steal instructions from each other (I raised the fun rating once I noticed it's indeed possible ) * being able to run around the whole arena, no just around the bottom * basic controller support, at least for 1 player (as some cheap keyboards can't take in more than a certain keypresses at once)
These are just minor complaints. Other than that, I like the game a whole lot and it's possibly my favourite multiplayer entry (well, other than mine, obviously :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:).
BTW. I did not get what genres it covers, so I skipped the theme rating.
The gameplay cycle wasn't very intuitive, it took me a while to figure out how to do things. The graphics were nice, but it felt a bit slow. I don't think all the commands were very balanced. It was very cute though.
