I got like 20 tombs bombed. there are some tiles that i can't click for some reason. i can see it fixed in the future with moving map and the HUD not being in the way of the map. i actually get so much money that i can pay for random torches being lit up, and it got a little too clickety for me to torch one place at a time

I did zoom in and out with the mouse scroll, but i was thinking more like moving the map around that aren't covered by HUD

@Tikikala , thank you for playing and sorry for the late reply, about the money, you are right, we left balancing to the last minute but we ran out of time so we coudn't fine tune it, I'm sorry about that... about the camera, you can also move it left or right by clicking with the scroll button (roll the scroll button to zoom and press and hold it down while you move the mouse to move the camera) I think we could make a box selection to select multiple blocks at once in the next version, it will make the gameplay less clicky, what do you think? thank you again for the comment

Couldn't move the map - middle mouse button isn't available on a laptop touch/mouse-pad. Would've been nice if there was some alternate way of controlling it for laptop users.

The game was a pretty cool mix between a clicker, tower defense and battleship game! This is for sure an interesting take on the theme. As a criticism I think the game could probably stand to have fewer tombs, though - and possibly make them larger to make them a bit easier to find. Searching the map for 40 tombs got a bit tedious after a while.

@frogcheese yeap, we haven't tought about that (the middle mouse button) I've also noticed that when we click with the middle mouse inside the browser it makes the page scrolls, I've created a patch that enables the same movement using the spacebar but I don't know if I can updload it due to the jam rules... I'll try to better understand the rules and update the correction if it is allowed. thanks for the comment

I think the concept has potential. It's like a multitasking game and gives you the feeling of exploring a dangerous world while defending your last bastion. But it gets a bit repetitive and easy. Maybe torches should be more costly and reveal a bigger part of the map. This way every torch would feel more impactful. Additionally asking for confirmation for every torch seems a little unnecessary. After all I think it is not a bad game and while it leaves room for improvement, it’s fun to play.

Personally really like the concept. It was a bit unclear at first what I had to do, but once I started to get the hang of it, it was a lot of fun. Great job and good luck!

At first look nothing interesting. But when I had read instruction, all is change.. But who read instructions in our time? :) May be, it should be a bit smaller map for entry levels

Kept running out of money, couldn't work out how to get any more. Also the edges of the screen were getting clipped of so I might have missed something.

This game is a cool idea, I wish I was able to move the map in the web version. The graphics could also be better, like maybe some custom UI for the money and health to make it have more of a theme. For some reason zombies kept popping up near the front of the base, not sure if it was intentional or not. Fun game though, thanks for sharing!

@MrBreadMan you can move the map by holding spacebar, we changed to keyboard after we realize that the middle mouse button was causing issues with the browser... about the graphics I agree, the problem was that our artist couldn't join us (he made the intro image as a contribution) and I ended up modeling, texturing and animating everything by myself, so it is 100% programmers art(and ugly, I know... haha) about the zombies popping up near the base, it was not intentional, I'll take a look to see what's going on... thank you for commenting, we'll surely consider your comment and try to improve on the problems that you've found! thank you again

@Alex13 haha life is too short for reading manuals :P , next we'll try to make a tutorial level to teach the player how the game works, about the map size, we are planning to increase the size and difficulty incrementaly as the player progresses to higher levels but due to the time constraints we couldn't do that for now, but there will be smaller maps on later versions of the game for sure!!! thanks for commenting

An interesting idea. To be honest, I've always thought of a "tower defense" as a game where you place towers that attack for you. Clicking on every zombie is a little tedious, and it might be nice if you could invest in some extra defenses. But I enjoyed exploring the map and trying to find the zombie "nests".

@Yirggzmb Actually you're right. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ We just could not implement everything we wanted in 72 hours. Sorry!! 😞. We had in mind more items, like for example some traps and machine guns to defend the perimeter while the player explores the map. But we will certainly remake this game with all that we have planned, as well as the sugestions we are receiving.

so i replayed... ok the space bar move map is better

ok i got to the point i had 0 zombies on screen they should stop screaming and moaning for a second lol

the spawn rate when you progress in game dies down, but it gets harder to narrow down the tombs that i end up not bombing all of them to have spawns to have cash to find the missing ones

some of them spawn in cluster in north west and north east.

instead of missiles you can just click on tombs 1 hp at a time

some tiles still won't let me torch bc something in the way but nothing spawn in that directions so i guess it's not important

i won and i click replay but i can only shoot once and then not anymore. the tomb and zombies count still stuck at 0

ok i know thisis jam but if you ever want to go back to fix after this jam these are my notes

i made it to the end & it was really fun good job! i like that you don't have to torch every area and can kind of just click around until you find the graves? also it might just be because im not the fastest when it comes to going back and forth but its faster to click the graves a bunch rather than confirming missiles lol other than that i really like the idea for this and it looks nice as well!!! :)

good job. i had fun playing it. man if there is multiple zombies kind, and we have multiple tower that could shoot back that would be sick.

It could be the combination of a battleship game and a clicker game :P

I think the end of the game is a bit slow, because u have no money and there are only 1-2 zombies to get money. And I couldn't put a torch in some tiles (for example, remember the Y - 04),

Thanks to these things, I found a bug, you can check for tombs (and destroy them) just clicking in the grey zones :P

Good job guys! it was funny, I couldn't stop playing untill I destroyed all the tombs ^^

Game-play worked well, nicely done. I think some sound effects/music needed to be levelled to be comfortable to listen to together, search Adobe Audition ITU-R for an example of how to get comfortable volume levels for any sound.
