Wow thank you so much for the nice coments! ^^ Glad you enjoyed playing it!
Thanks everyone for the feedback!! It really inspires us to read comments like these ^^
@neontropics thats so true! We come with that problem in the middle of the Jam but didn't got time to think for a solution about it. A good solution, thinking for a post-jam version, would be to transfrom all the planted crops into money when the time runs out, then you would have as much money as before planting them.
Wow, thats a really polished game! Had a lot of fun playing it once I figured out I was fighting and oponent. Gameplay and graphics are really good ^^
Really rad game! Love the ambient and graphics of the game. Controls are a bit hard but it can be spected from the mixtures of themes of the game. Things that could be improved: 1)Damage feedback from enemies to player and viceversa 2)Reduce enemies damage on player so playthroughare a bit longer ^^
Such an original idea :_D Took me a while to understand how the game works but it was good time trying to guess it since nothing is forcing you to advance. Really great game!
Had a lot of fun playing it! Although aiming sometimes can be really tricky it became really fun once I realized you can kill without them seeing you using corners and learning to shoot to the ground to hit them. Made me had that hit and run feeling from Hotline Miami in a really good way!
Would love the camera to move towards the aiming spot so you can see more part of the sceneario!
Probably the best game I have played from the Jam! Congrats!
Loved the game! Although it crashed a couple of times and couldn't reach the end the overall experience made me have a lot of fun, love how both genres mix, it is a really good idea ^^ Only complains are the difficulty of the enemies, sometimes the "weird" movement when you land after a jump.
One the best games I have played from this Ludum Dare. Simple to play but hard to master. Would love to play a full version game of this!
Such a well done game :_D really polished, with great pixel art and music. Couldn't come up with any helpfull feedback due to not having any complaints.
Really liked the art and the enemies progression, at first I got the idea of having too much health but when you discover the upgrade mechanic it totally makes sense, for that reason I think I will start the game by letting the player choose and upgrade or by making the first wave shorter. Good job!
Really polished game! The only critic I can have is how repetitive the music is for the length of the game, but it still is such a good game!
Such a great game! So far the best one I have played in the Jam. All the Really good in all the categories, good job to all the team!
Really adictive and good looking!
Simple but really adictive gameplay!
Really good game! Love the art, idea and gamefeel of the game! I would love for it to be a bit more balanced, giving more space in the corridors to learn how attacks work (since attacks need a bit of space for them to be casetd) and to have more space to avoid enemies specially at the beginning but also since the mechanic of losing health to attack makes all the game actions more risky I think a bit of extra health would have felt nice! But overall it is a good game ^^
Really innovative game, funnd and with awesome art, I really liked it! Only thing I kind of disliked was the type of music chosen as it didn't match with the mood of the game for me but still it was a great game!
What a lovely game! Its incredible incredible to see games like this done in a gamejam. Love the feeling, music and art of it, whish there were more gameplay mechanics but still it is such a solid idea. Good job!
Wow guys thank you very much for the kind words! These comments are really making our day :black_heart: We have put a lot of effort into Drytown and reading these comments let us know that the message has arrive to our players, thank you so much!
Thank you @kristinamay that is such a lovely commentary! The tools we have used to develope the game have been Unity, Aseprite and Audacity ^^
@derek-volker Wow! Thank you so much for the commentary Derek we are really glad to hear your feedback, this kind of player's messages its what really makes developing games worthy!
Regarding the missing Audio category, well as far as we know (according to LD rules) if you haven't made yourself one of the categories of the game you should disable it to be rated, in this case most audio is from other creators(with a Creative Commons 0 license) and music is by Incompetech, his public music is usable in games if you give credit to him in the game description. Thats why we disabled the category for our game even though we worked in it so it could match with the rest of the game. Not sure how it affects the game rating though.
Good minimalistic game! It made me feel its creator really cares about games ^^
Took me like 5 tries to beat the game and I had fun in all of them. Good game!
Everything feels great in this game, the atmosphere, the art and the writting. A really good game specially in a jam. Congrats to the team ^^
Love the character design! It reminds me to Frog from Chrono Trigger, which is something I love, sadly I can't play the game for much longer since it gets stuck at the first dialog like @rumsquawks said :(
Overal I had the feeling that more time between the events of the game would have left a better feeling andwould have been easier to understand what is happening but still I had a lot of fun playing your game!
Had a lot of fun playing it with a friend! Although a little bit buggy the game is fun and the way you interpreted the theme kind of auto-balances the game!
