Oh, I love micromanaging!
My only complaint is that dogs need a buff - they must be thrice as cute!

I feel that puzzles games are hard for jams, because puzzle design becomes much more important, and you generally have to make a lot more levels. In its current state, it feels like a very standard "rush hour" game. You've got a great starting progression and difficulty curve, and then the last puzzle, and that's it. In lieu of a thought-out assessment, here are some quick thoughts:
-The intermissions between the puzzles don't really add anything, it just interrupts the puzzles.
-I don't like the last puzzle, it's just a stew of everything thrown together. It reminds me of [this custom puzzle](http://i.imgur.com/UyQboiq.png) from The Witness. Filling every space with some mechanic just feels like artifical difficulty.
-Quality of life: Obviously an undo/reset button would be nice. Also, I'd like to be able to have multiple boxes moving at the same time.
-I'm not really sure how it fits the theme? Feels like a very standard puzzle game.
Cool idea! The weakest teammates should be sacrificed for the greater good, to protect the heart.
This is so hard, I love it! I agrree with kromeboy's statement. I also had several points where I couldn't click a guy because a car or something was in the way.
Very tough! The controls felt odd at first, but I think they got better as I figured out what I was doing
Love the direction you chose, with the setting and character! Levels are well-designed!
Really cool, great twist! I agree with Evan about the challenge thoug.
Haha, I couldn't really get very far. It got tough fast as I forgot which fingers were in the back!
Awesome idea! First life I just went bezerk with shots, then I realized what was happening
Really fun idea, but it's really hard with akeyboard!
Really hard with a touch pad!
Really cool idea, but the execution just isn't great. Moving feels weird, aiming is hard, and minimal animations make it difficult to tell what's going on.
Real time chess is a really interesting idea! The controls feel imprecise, but I love it anyway!
Cool idea, I love the control simplicity.
Really cool! I quickly got lost on my first try and died before I made it out.
Cool idea, but really hard! Your game description is gold.
I love the idea! I love the theme of how money corrupts.
Funny idea, great execution. I love the gradual shift in the bunny's facial expression s!
Oh man, I love the story you put into this! My biggest complaint is that it's hard to get started, but it's hard to avoid that with these style games.
The controls feel really good! Simple idea, but executed very well.
EDIT: And I love the name
Hilarious execution, I love the physics!
One problem I had was my mouse kept moving off the screen
Tough game! I also thought the mustaches were good at first, and I got confused when I died.
I find it very unclear what's going on, between the ships shooting at you and the asteroids and the guy over the radio.
Oh wow, this gets really hard really quick! Great silly game, great for a sit-down with friends. Now very much longevity, though.
Really cool twist!
I'm confused. What can I do from here? Untitled.png
Edit: I figured it out, you have to hit escape to go to the next level
I like the idea of different colors are different powers! Very well done.
Very flashy!
Really cool idea, I love puzzles! It seems like the actual physics determine the outcome, though, which is a bit weird.
It gets very disorienting very quickly. Also, I can't really look in the middle - my view keeps snapping up or down?
I love the sounds, they're so funny. Gameplay works well too!
Very polished, well done!
Love the main menu, intro, and theme! It's a really low-key game, which is a nice change of pace.
Love the idea, brings back Undertale vibes!
The animals move too fast! But great otherwise!
Really cool! I think that the time should increment once for each active game - so if you have three windows open, the time increments by 3 every second, to incentive having more on at once isntead of focusing on one or two.
Interesting idea - but it feels kind of clunky. Also I think you can remove the extra links if you leave the URL blank
I get a crash when I try to click the play button?
Really cool! I love amassing an army, then watching them all die :)
The exe doesn't seem to be working for me? It's just not opening
@matthew-roelle Could you elaborate on rifle/shotgun? The shotgun shoots a burst of shots with more spread, and the rifle shoots several single shots faster. It works fine for me.
@yishalee You can quit with Alt+F4! Hope you aren't trapped forever...
The jumping system feels really weird, and the controls are frustrating. It's great that you produced something though!
It's a really calming game, very nice! Easy to lose yourself in.
Really cool! Sometimes the order which the effigies move is important, but ambiguous - and puzzles should usually try to minimize ambiguity. Aside from that, I enjoyed it! Could use some polish, with graphics and animations. Good job!

Really cool! I played this game on stream, if you're interested in a live reaction! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/345179013 (1 hour 18 minutes in). I also got the current high score, though I suspect it won't last...

Love it! Really great context for this style of game. Sometimes though it doesnt seem like the rockets always follow the red line?
I really like the idea - I only wish there were defined roads, with cars driving on the right side. Just to help guide the bridge position. Multiple times I moved the cars to drive in the middle of the road, which led to them crashing into cars which spawned later. I love the idea of this with the simple game leading to hectic situations!
Really cool game! My best score is 4788, but I'm not really sure how it's calculated. I did another try with 5/5 people and pretty high hull, and only got ~1800. After my second playthrough I stopped reading the text and tried to min/max points.
While you were out drinking and partying, I studied the game.
This is really cool! I had to stop halfway through, but I really like what you've done.
This could be a great start, but right now it just feels really... empty. There isn't very much to do.
The sound effects don't match up very well, either.
Really cool! I agree with torquil's idea that randomizing the altar would be really cool, and incentivize moving more. I was able to get 118 by sticking next to it, focus on throwing in bodies and spamming attack when necesary. I like the slow creep in difficulty, and the sound effects do a great job of being unsettling! (Although my roomate was very annoyed by them!)
I like this, but I was really easily to juggle everything except work. Others have said about the confusing nature of the red bars, which I agree with.
I really like how this is real-time, and how you take advantage of that with the time commuting. I think you could go further pushing other aspects. It'd be really cool if the bars affected each other, like you need to shop to eat, or if you don't sleep your other bars increase slower. And then you need a way to explain the connections.
Great job!

My first thought was "oh, this idea again", but this is actually done really well! It's great that you have to pick up the health after they die, gives it a real risk-management feel. This could definitely be taken further, great job!
Really cool idea, using different characters with different abilities to explore the world. The turn-based combat didn't feel very exciting, maybe it could switch into more intense music. The portals looked really cool, and It was fun to try and juke the enemies.
By the way, I should mention I played this game on stream! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/344544405## I started this game 2 hours 7 minutes in. Hope that can help give some better feedback!
Really fun to play, but losing your abilities is a bit too punishing!
By the way, I should mention I played this game on stream! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/344544405## I started this game 2 hours 37 minutes in. I would have liked to play more but I wanted to get lunch. Hope this helps!
Really goofy game!
@shawn-moore It was on the drawing board to have more feedback on victory/defeat, but I ran out of time haha. I wasn't able to do much play testing during the jam, but I've gotten feedback from other people that the water is too hard. (This was after I nerfed all the bosses to take less hits!) I might look into the rules about making small changes to see if nerfing is allowed.
@frosty Oof, I was worried that could happen but I never ran into it myself. I'll take a look - which bosses did you fight?
@rsim I didn't have enough time to telegraph it well... the 2D stuff at the start is just background objects. When you get into a fight (which will be clear), the bosses are 2D and their attacks are 3D.
@frenchie I wish I had more time for the art to! But with only 48 hours, sacrifices must be made ;)
I didn't like having the shots be so slow, and for some reason I didn't think to make it faster and increase their health to compensate. I guess I got tunnel visioned, but that would help!
@kraftkar Thanks for the write-up! I agree with about all of your points. I'd like to give more feedback for shooting and death/victory, but I wanted it to look better first. I was using spheres and cubes up until the last 8 hours, and I didn't even have time to draw everything I wanted to! I tried to do a bunch of playtesting, but I didn't run into very many bugs until after it was finished. (I think they have to do with if you and the boss both die in a short time frame?)
Frenchie: That's awesome, I'm honored! I'll @ you in a new comment with my thoughts after I watch it
@frenchie Thanks for the feature! I got halfway through, before I realized I need to go to sleep.
A bullet hell style was actually closer to my original vision, but I didn't want to implement a different health system for the bosses. For the Earth, I lowered the collider a bit so it so if it spawned on top of you you wouldn't instantly take damage. It makes sense that the objects should be responsible for themselves, but something that I wasn't really concerned with in the timeframe.
Regarding IEnumarators, I think it's a point of the creator understanding its exact purpose which may not be as clear to an onlooker. I probably do rely on them to much though, haha.
I think the presentation and structure of your stream work really well, and you're great at talking through your thoughs. It shows how small changes can make big differences in feel. You were able to predict a lot of the behavior and structures, which is very impressive. You said it was your first episode, but you present it really well!
@afroant Thank you for the kind words, that's very high praise! I'm planning on making a post-jam version to improve the feel and add drawings to the attacks.
Goofy idea! I got stuck on the alternate path level.
I like the idea, but it's rough around a couple edges and would benefit from a tutorial and better UI. The goal isn't clear, and I lost a couple times before I realized each prisoner ate food. (Great idea and makes sense, but there's no indication of that). There's also no representation of how many cards are in your deck. And once you have an engine going, it's just a matter of playing until you draw all the cards you need.
Not sure why, but the game runs very slowly on my desktop...
Hey buddy! I played this game on stream, if you're interested in a live reaction! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/345179013 (44 minutes in)
The page isn't loading - is it maybe not public?
EDIT: Now the page is up, but it's saying it's not available as an archive?
It's really cool, but I've only been able to find two of the altars... very unsettling!
It's actually really fun! The biggest issue is that I noticed all the enemies were spawning from the same area, so I could literally just camp them.
Very cool! I randomly played this game on stream, if you're interested in seeing live feedback:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/344671145 (around 1 hour 25 mins in)
Really cool idea! Could be the basis for a great puzzle-adventure game.
Very nice! I like how this differentiates itself from similar games by having more focus on the platforming.
I saved 76! Neat puzzle, although I think it would help if we knew which ways the attackers would move before each turn
Really cool! I wish it were easier to tell yourself apart
Really cool idea, I love these meta-level games.
And just a tip: If you play and rate other people's games, it increases your visibility. This deserves to be seen, so try to play some stuff this weekend!
I really wanted to like it, but between the weird camera and tank physics I found myself more frustrated than having fun. Most of the time, losing tanks didn't feel like a sacrifice made for the greater good, but just something that happened just because.
It doesn't really feel like a sacrifice, since most racing games already present the same choice. Maybe if there were much more options, it could work better, but it feels very bland. As a fan of racing games, I wanted to enjoy this, but it just didn't do it for me.
Also, the stat selection screen is hard to look at with the bright colors and colored drop shadow, I'd tone it down a bit there.
Neat idea! Makes me wonder about the boundary between typing games and abstract controls...
As others have said, its too easy just to mash. Great art and sound!
Really cool! I loved the goofy aesthetic and theme, it's a really cool exploration of sacrifice as a mutually beneficial relationship. There were several times when we got stuck though, and I died multiple times. With more time than 48 hours to work on this I could see it being really fun!
Oh man there's a third level? The second one went on so long, haha!
BTW, I played your game on stream! The vod is available https://www.twitch.tv/videos/344544405##, this game starts about one hour ten minutes in.
Fun the first time, but it doesn't really have a reason to play again. The strategy seems one dimensional, since you're trying just to maximize troop output. Espcially since you can upgrade all units every single turn. I think limited number of actions, which you can distribute however you like (i.e. upgrading the same place multiple times) would help a lot too. All of the actions could also be streamlined, you shouldn't have to go into a menu for every single action.
Really cool and mellow game!
I really like the look and feel of the player character!

I played this game on stream.... but I didn't realize until now that for some reason the game was dropping frames? I didn't have this problem with any other games, so I'm not sure why this happened.
Hopefully my audio reaction and feedback can still be helpful... you can get a link to the VOD at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14MpruNv7RN4pVCr4go77VXJuePogxHuI9intx5phEqk/edit?usp=sharing
I think you've got a solid game loop here! Let me know if you do keep working on it.
