It's uh... original ^^. Would have been cool to have some life indicator. Graphics are crisp, the dick's wobbliness is well done if not a bit extreme.

Extremely interesting idea, too bad you didn't manage to gameify it. Pretty graphics.
Pretty cool, I got stuck after nakazhuluu, but the controls are nice (except no Azerty support :(), the game world looks cool and the voice-overs are awesome =)
Nice entry, nice atmosphere that could really have used some more music and sounds for immersion! I was a bit sad that there wasn't more choices in the dialogs, but what was there was cool.
Excellent music and effects, simple and rewarding gameplay.
I got defeated but I don't know why, my bears were still alive :(. Anyways, nice entry, cool looks and gameplay!
A simple idea that's pretty well done :). I think the full potential is indeed in MP though so I might play this again when I get home tonight. The gameplay might lack a bit of strategy though, maybe for examples different types of terrain with different optimal tapping "rythms" would have been cool!
Beat it :D. I had A LOT of fun playing it, despite the simple graphics and over-the-top camera :p. Really well done, good progression, very balanced. Excellent music for the mood. Also liked the introductory texts. Congratz.
Interesting but I think it lacks a bit of depth to the initial pitch, in that, there are not many strategy options (for example could have split the extractor into a solid, bulky one that extracts slowly and a light, fragile one that extracts quickly).
I still salute the performance of making an RTS with this level of graphical polish :). Not a fan of the audio, but the global mood was pretty cool.
Interesting, if a bit obscure ^^. I still enjoyed it.
I was stuck at the huge puzzle by one generator, damn! Good game, clever mechanic, nice audio and VO. I found the generators too obviously there as an obstacle, I think I'd have liked to have them have a graphic, or some kind of effect on the grid, like maybe giving you more moves (and limit the whole moves :p) ?
Good job.
Really cool, well-executed, good polish. Not my style of gameplay, but I can salute the work :). Amazing audio overall, loved how the story introduced the gameplay elements subtly.
Agreed that it lacks a bit of strategy, you can just spam any action on any province (I found I to be the most effective actually). Maybe slowing the pace and giving each province different reaction to each action could be cool?
Anyways, good job!
Nice inspired game, you captured the atmosphere of the original pretty well, despite the change of camera. No Azerty support so hard for me to play :(. Still cool though, unlike some other comments I liked the feeling of the gun.
Nice work.
Cool game, controls were OK, music got a little repetitive, I liked the crates mechanic. It lacked a bit of "Arr" though ;)
Very well-made graphically, the mood is perfect with the music and all. The beginning of levels tend to be difficult and then it quickly decreases, until the end where you just spend time chasing the blue/green ones.
The controls get some time to get used to but then they work. An option to disable auto-targeting would've been cool :)
Well this was.. peculiar :p. I don't know if actually hurting spikes was a problem, because i was suuuuper bad but I eventually got to the brain anyways. Played around a bit with it but wasn't sure if there was a goal or something special to do ^^
Really impressive, some environments were well done and gorgeous, loved the overall atmosphere. However, there isn't much to do :/. Didn't encounter an enemy and didn't find the other village. Maybe simply drawing a road on the terrain texture to guide the player ?
Apart from that the idea does sound cool for the theme and you pulled a big amount of work on this.
This was so good and also so frustrating x). Actually I would have enjoyed some text to really know what's going on.
Also a right click option on the controls to decrease their value would have been awesome.
Very interesting, I enjoyed it! But it lacks some kind of challenge for the player, like a limit on the date to convert the world to your ideals :D. Also it would be cool to know what impact the starting modifiers have (peaceful, normal and violent). Good job!
Ok I played for a while, and stopped when I took stairs from 3->2 and got apparently stuck in limbo. Very cool, you have a solid basis for a rogue-like. My small gripe with it is that there is actually no player skill required, apart maybe from speed-clicking the coins to heal (:P), and too few items (yet the excitation of finding a chest is always there). I'd recommend distinguishing between item-chest and gold-chest for increased reward feeling.
Like said before, the controls are also a bit annoying, but you get used to them eventually (at least I did). Kudos for not imposing wasd on us Azerty guys ;).
To give you a quick answer on MagDef: you just need to click a research once to start it. Its progress is then showed inside the planet and updates every second until it's done.
Well, I enjoyed this x). I only understood at the very end that you could let the green guys live. Oh well, already started to kill them all, might as well finish.
Is the music from abundant-music ;) ?
Really cool graphics, simple gameplay (a bit too simple maybe?), loving the nuke effect. A bit off-theme maybe?
Really cool, it took me a few tries, but I finally managed to down 1 building x). One gripe I have is that in the green tubes, we don't see the outlines of the blocks well enough, so sometimes it's hard to understand why a block won't fit where we want it to.
Liked it!
Hi, I had a hard time understanding what to do, and the controls didn't always seem to work, but I feel like there was a cool idea behind that. Cheers!
Hi, impressed by the system running behind that, but probably a little too big for a jam ;). The UI gets confusing in small boxes, but I still liked the idea! Congrats on the work.
Hi, didn't like the graphics too much (thankfully I'm not epileptic :p), but I enjoyed the idea rather much! However, with no love for Azerty keyboards, it was hard for me to play :(. Cheers!
Hi,
A straight-forward entry, I had some fun. The comments are funny at first but can get a little annoying.
Hi,
I like your idea but I think the execution fails to deliver a little ; it's hard to actually encounter other planets to absorb, and the inertia is too high, making the planet hard to control when you actually locate something you can absorb.
It took me a while to understand the voice was saying "collision" :p.
Hi,
Actually made me laugh ^^. Pretty simple gameplay but fun.
Shot some guy, buried some guy, flown cat everywhere.
5/5 would play again.
Very basic, but at least I got to shoot stuff ^^.
Hi, good mood, but no love for Azerty keyboards :(. Still managed to kill some zombies with only one rocket :p. Also, the zombie appearing sound gets annoying quickly (maybe because it's too loud?)
Very, very nice. I love this kind of game, and this one was very well executed. I did run into a bug where enemies wouldn't move, but this is not easy to code. Loved the little story, too bad the text bubbles appear below the crates :(. However I think you might've read the wrong theme ;).
Great work.
Very nice, though I found the controls hard to use, but when you manage to it's rewarding :). Superb graphics on the mummy.
A simple game, straight-forward. It would've been cool to see the cooldown between abilities.
I am very impressed, this is well-made, intuitive, and fun. Congratz.
I feel a bit stupid but how do you actually start the game? I was stuck on the title screen (enter or space didn't start it).
Absolutely gorgeous, nice idea, if a bit off-theme. Sadly no Azerty controls so I had a hard time testing it :(. Congrats though!
Cool entry, if a bit simple. You should've had at least a progression element (enemies getting tougher, different weapon for your guy...)
The music is nice! Is it a live recording?
Wow. Very cool. Great music and general audio atmosphere. I also like the idea for the theme. My only critic is that I kept this feeling of "what the hell am I doing" more or less from start to finish ^^. I figured a few good combinations, but other than that it was mostly random. Maybe give more precise indicators regarding the different abilities, with numbers?
Really interesting, an excellent job for 48h! Definitely a dungeon crawler feel. On the downsides, I'm a little disappointed that all the weapons feel the same, and the combat is a bit blurry, as in you don't know if you will hit/be hit.
Otherwise, very coherent art, nice atmosphere, appropriate sounds.
Et le coucou d'un autre frenchie =)
Well-made, I had fun, it's rewarding that every enemy drops something. Maybe some kind of power-ups to improve it? Like more speed?
Anyways, good job (but no love for Azerty made it hard to test x)).
Hey, too bad you couldn't finish. I strangely liked the music. Good luck if you keep working on this!
Well-made ! The simple graphics shouldn't be a problem, come try this out :). I didn't find the correct one though :(.
Game is crashing for me :(
Controls are broken for me :(. A nice idea though, and perfectly on theme. Cheers!
Incredible atmosphere considering the time constraint. Perfect sounds and clever visuals. I sometimes didn't understand why I was still getting static on the screen when I escaped from all the enemies. Original take on the theme.
Pretty simple, awesome graphics, perfect voice-over (in all seriousness I did like it =)).
Really cool, gorgeous graphics, perfect music for the atmosphere, interesting mechanic. I was so sad to squish the bad guys, found them as cute as the white ones ^^. I feel like the light mechanic looks awesome but does little in the game. Or maybe I didn't go far enough to see it in action? Anyways, good job!
Definitely beautiful, would love to see some gameplay in there :)
Really made me laugh, love all the small details that went into this. Too bad I didn't figure how to actually grab the damn floppy x)
Nice game, great music, too bad there is no Azerty controls :(.
Very very good idea, excellent realisation, tight controls, simple gameplay, nice difficulty curve.
Too bad we don't get anything to improve ourselves (an unconventional weapon magnet for example?) in pick-ups.
Cool, weird atmosphere but well done. The camera got me a little sick but overall it was pretty well executed.
Very impressive visually but very short. Congratulations on the atmosphere, very well done. I would have liked a darker tone to the sounds and music though. The polish is incredible.
Wario Ware style game, can't say I was expecting that ^^ Very, very well made, flawless execution, fun mini-games :)
Careful, your "Windows" link is giving me a "not found" on itch.io :(
Must be fun with 4 players =). No azerty support made it a bit hard for me to play, but I liked the water effect, clever to use spheres that way. Nice voice-over also :p
Cool idea, excellent polish, love the pencil-drawn graphics. Cheers!
Hi, pretty nice, controls feel OK, menu music is great (less fan of the in-game one). Difficulty gets steep very fast though :p.
Best time 14, found the diamond by chance :p. Pretty nice!
This game looks really cool but I couldn't play it properly because no Azerty support :(. Good job though!
Nice idea, good controls on the weapon (pretty unconventionnal ^^). Great voice-over work :p !
Very impressive entry. The flow is good and the UI mastered. It lacks a progression element IMHO (unlocking new buildings) to really hook the player but then again we only had 48h. Good job!
Really cool gameplay, I enjoyed it a lot, even though the UI is rough. Why the limit on buildings?
It's also maybe a little fast-paced. I think I made it to round 115 something ^^
Hi, very cool entry, perfect execution, everything fits into a complete whole, I'm impressed. The only gripe I have is with the lateral controls, I think the character moves a little too fast by default, making it hard to be precise. Some puzzles towards the end also tend to become a little frustrating. I liked the writing.
Congratulations overall :)
Extremely cool, I deeply enjoyed it. Maybe the puzzles are a bit too simple? But then again, cool concept!
Very, very cool, very well done atmosphere and mood. Feedbacks are awesome. But you don't use words as a weapon per se, so for me it's a bit off-theme. Still very cool :).
Hi, very cool! It's actually confusing to have the 1st slot active but not be able to fire. The jump feeling is a bit weird also. Excellent job on the lighting, it was very pretty. The weapons also felt pretty different, but for the enemies, the bats were actually more annoying than the vampires :p. Cool sounds overall.
I found this very simple, actually, a bit too simple. The lack of graphics should have allowed you to search for a deeper combat system, I think ; right now there's little strategy involved.
Still, it was well made =)
Well at least I could jump around :p. Best luck to you for the continuation!
Nice and well-made TD, loving the place-holders ;). However it would've been nice to have a difficulty increase in the monsters, because as you get more towers you just pwn them...
Very interesting, I like turn-based strategy. Would have liked to know the range of ranged-enemies.
I'm a little unsure on what to think on this one. The graphics are cute but I found the game a little simple and lacking in strategy. Anyway, the execution was good :)
Very nice entry! Sounds were a little aggravating for me but boy did I like that low poly 3D ^^.
Pretty nice idea, well executed if a bit short. I would have loved more obstacles and more paths to the text (more endings). The music is really nice. Good job!
Same here :(
I like the art style very much. The lighting does look a bit glitchy, but i also has its charm. No Azerty support :(. I would also have allowed the player to keep clicking to fire, less finger strain :p
255 here. Simple and fun, but the enemy generation is too low, I'd make it increase with time so we can reach crazy scores.
Hi, I think the economy is broken? I wasn't selling anything, and my workers were not being paid any wages :p. Very cool concept, nice graphics and UI, but a building queue would be a must have.
Anyways, I built every item required for the first order, but nothing was happening, and I didn't figure how to send it out :(.
Would love to see this more developped.
Hi, really liked the music and the idea, but I often lost when apparently I didn't do anything wrong? I also think the colors of the dots are way too dark and it makes it hard to understand which laser they belong to.
Hi, pretty simple game, I liked that you did an intro, and I enjoyed the music. But I had a problem on my controls, the character was going super fast so I could only go left or right on the island. So I got eaten ^^.
Hi, the game doesn't seem to load on itch.io. Just letting you know.
Good idea, excellent execution. I like how you articulated the phases, the post-fight one is especially good, clear and rewarding. Too bad there isn't a progression element and a clear goal. Lots of fun though :)
And nice music!
Hi, nice idea, I like this interpretation of the theme, and it is well executed. Good on the kid giving you hints on what to do, it brought me right into the "action".
However I think you can just click all the bears and find the correct one that ways? Maybe some sort of penalty would have been nice.
Also agreed that with sounds it would have been much more immersive :)
I played this up to 2500 score x). Cool music and feedback on enemy death.
Nice music, but I found the controls a little off. It's also frustrating to get destroyed because the new asteroid popped right next to you.
Couldn't find the jar on your link :(
Ok this time I got it :). Fun little game, well-made and flows well, I found the timing good on most encounters and defeated-insulted a lot of knights :D.
I also liked the animation of the oncoming knight, music is OK though could have been more "medieval" maybe, and ofc loved the mini laugh voice-over.
To answer your comment on MagDef: Yes, I totally used abundant-music :). For the progression, I'm afraid that if I make it quicker, the later planets will become too difficult. I'll think about it.
Cool idea, but I didn't notice the attack sounds were changing, just the colors? The former would have been super cool! Anyways, clean execution, liked it mostly.
You should check this entry which had a similar-ish idea : http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=40087 :)
Apart from that, cool idea (slightly off-theme maybe), very well made and rewarding. It's damn hard though x).
Very nice gameplay, I like the idea of having my own ship. Too bad you didn't have time to add customization, but the game as is is already fun.
Maybe a little % for the chance to hit? From what I gathered, it seems like 33% before upgrade, and then 100% (overkill :D).
Extremely cool, this is totally my type of game. It is deep enough already so you can try out different strategies. I seem to have noticed a steep bump in difficulty around day 4 or 5 ? I am not sure.
Great work.
Just came back to tell you I managed to beat it. Tons of fun, would love to play an extended version of this.
I love this kind of graphics, very well done. The gameplay is also interesting, although I don't understand why you made the character glide like on ice? For me it created frustrating situations.
Good work anyhow :)
Hey, could have been really interesting if more developed with combination between items :). As it stands it's a bit simple though.
Very impressive entry, I have only positive things to say: great art, atmosphere, audio quality, voice-over work, etc. The only thing that bugged me ever so slightly was that the writing could have been a tad more mature; sometimes, at least for me, it went from game to joke and that broke immersion.
Just letting you know that the web link is broken for me.
Made it to 1:06, pretty cool, it feels well polished, so it's nice to play. Good job!
Loved the art and music (very very nice), not too fan of the gameplay, but it was well-executed. Very nice entry.
Awesome sound overall, game well-made, if a bit simple =).
Same here, found it a little difficult. Otherwise the controls are responsive, and graphics are clear.
Hi, liked it for what it is, gave me some chuckles :). Well executed!
Well-made, neat graphics, cool audio, strange idea x)
I don't know why but it made me a little uncomfortable ^^. It's all so cheery but you just mass murder people. Anyways, controls are tight, layout is good, but I feel that the enemy behaviour is a bit simple, and it gets a bit annoying to only have the option of cornering them in a corner to pie them. Maybe some way to improve your pie throwing skills could be cool?
Agreed, it's not really clear when you attack and damage the enemies. Otherwise it was smooth, I did have mini-freezes but nothing game breaking.
Really interesting, if a bit simple. I liked the premise so I gave it a try =). I like the graphical ambiance you got, too bad you didn't put any sound, it could have really added to the immersion (restaurant and chomping sounds, you know ;)).
Really cool concept, on-theme, nice execution, simple to learn but many strategies possible... congratulations!
The only thing is that is was super hard to play for me due to being WASD only (I have an Azerty keyboard). Too bad you used the arrows for shooting also :(
Hi, I had the controsl problem on the embedded but it worked fine on the dropbox link. Pretty cool, but lacking in some UI imho, like a gauge to show you how strong your jump is going to be. Also, you should reset the player speed when respawning, because it makes it harder to understand when you die and insta-respawn flying.
Anyways, pretty cool :) Nice music also!
I really tried to play this, but what you describe in the readme here didn't work for me in game :(. Each time I managed to build a node (I think), and after I had the message "a junction is required" or something like that. It's a shame, it looked really cool. Tell me if you update the UI!
Interesting, but too simple imo. I would have loved to be able to unlock some skills, or build new stuff, or have to make any choice really :)
The polish is good though, and the animations were smooth.
It does sound fun at first but the mechanics are pretty limited. Nice realization nonetheless and funny take on the theme :)
Excellent entry, loved everything about it, really well-made, clever idea. However, lack of Azerty support made it almost impossible for me to win lvl 5.
Hi, pretty cool idea, excellent execution, nice music and controls (but no azerty support and arrow keys didn't work for me :().
Hey, pretty cool. I think the current shooter needs to have at least a different color to know where you are at. It could also have been cool to give your enemies some different skills (like shooting the objects you throw at them =)), becaue right now it's a bit easy and you can just spam objects. Music was quite nice.
Hi, I am a little confused on how to run the game. I tried opening index.html in Chrome but all I get is a black page?
Hi, pretty ambitious for a jam project. I'm impressed by your inventory system though, and the game system you managed to put together. JRPG are not really my style though, but I appreciate the performance!
Very nice, I loved the art and music. The gameplay is a bit lacking though. Excellent polish.
Pretty cool idea, controls are ambitious, but when you figure them out they work. I think they could be optimized (by giving a distinct color to each node for example), but I don't have a clear idea how.
The rest of the game is also nice, music fits well :)
I think there might be a balancing problem: I could never manage to make a ship leave my planet, always ran out of resources first. Or maybe i was using the wrong strategy here? Any idea?
A very interesting entry though, even if off-theme (i think).
It would also be very cool to be able to pause/unpause using spacebar.
Beautiful execution, nice idea, great voice-over :p.
Very nice surprise. Had lots of fun playing it. Special mention to the splashed bird poo ^^
Managed to kill the enemy despite the lack of azerty support :D. Really cool idea, I would've liked an effect when my field is active, but other than that, pretty fun.
Lagging as hell on my computer sadly :(. But the art looks gorgeous and the music seemed engaging (had some stuttering because of the lag). Maybe I'll try it again if I have access to a different computer.
Nice, clean graphics, but the controls ruined it for me. Fun idea though :)
Cool concept and music, although it would have been nice to have more items to push around and maybe with different effects. I kinda liked the art also.
Really interesting entry, nice take on the theme, clean execution, I like it, and I'm not a pinball guy :p. Too bad I couldn't manage to make it into the hole...
Pretty impressive from a technical standpoint, but I wasn't having much fun. Still, the initial idea of the slippery balloon lamp can be funny and should be elaborated :)
Difficult game. Maybe it would have been better if the enemies had more predictable patterns? I liked the sounds though.
Cool Zelda feel but lacking a bit in directions.
Hi, cool idea! No Azerty controls though :(. Also, it's strange that the ball doesn't keep it's previous velocity when you dispel the gravity field, and just falls straight down :p. Once I adjusted I was able to move forward though. Controls were a bit too sensitive for my taste, making some platforming sessions quite frustrating, but other than that, I mostly had fun.
I also only get a black screen when I launch it :(
Really interesting, I didn't really grasp the logic to efficiently solve the puzzles, but I did get to lvl 6 or something ^^. Satisfying when you cause chain explosions!
***
Vraiment intéressant, je pense que j'ai pas eu la bonne logique pour résoudre les puzzles, mais je suis quand même allé jusque genre niveau 6. Vraiment cool quand on fait des explosions en chaine :)
Agreed that the outcomes need to be a little more predictable, maybe include some subtle clues in the texts? Otherwise nice job, good idea on using the male Windows voice :p
Hi, I liked the mood and overall style, but you left out Azerty users with your control schemes :(.
This was really laggy on my machine :(. But I like the concept, and the Google Earth art is clever. Good point for the customization at the start though :). However the readability in game is bad imo, maybe you should have outlined all the sprites with something flashy.
This was hard as hell x). It looks pretty though, and the idea is original. I'd say I liked it.
So, despite the lack of Azerty support, I managed to play but didn't figure out how to kill the knight :). I like the ghost art very much, and also the idea on how to kill them. For the rest, I didn't see much, is there a way to progress without killing the big knight?
To answer your comment on MagDef: Thanks for your feedback, actually I didn't put a hard cap on population growth but there is on asteroids damage so it's very good input on your part.
Really cool, the music is excellent, as well as the setting and art. After that gameplay feels a bit simple, but it does its job and I wanted to see more than those levels :)
Interesting idea, definitely a nice take on the theme. It was hard to understand why some goo resisted some weapons and the other no, maybe a color variation on the mutated goo could be nice, I'm not sure... anyways, cool concept :)
Hi, a nice surprise :). The controls feel a little strange at first but then you get used to it. The "power" feeling when you shoot is really well done.
Hi, really interesting idea, congratz on the music, but as is, it's very difficult to play. I really love the idea, maybe you could unlock known "shapes" that are pre-build that you could place? Or have a cell generator that grants you one starting cell and generates moves, so you can try more configuration without retrying the level.
Impressive entry, lots of content, good polish, very nice music. I like your weapons, they take a bit to get used to but serve different purpose in the LD. The thing that bothered me were the controls, I felt like the character was too "slippery".
Hey, pretty simple game, but fun enough. The girl's controls were a little weird but I liked how the ball was precise. Took me a while to figure how to pick up the ball again (I thought you had to walk on it after you threw it).
Superb visuals, great feedback all around. A bit simple maybe but worth it for that polish =).
Great interpretation of the theme imho.
Interesting idea, but you get around it quickly. Excellent music, simple but beautiful art, perfect execution.
Interesting entry :). It can sometimes be frustrating to try to click on something behind an object that you already stopped.
I think you could have gamified the concept though.
Nice, I missed some Azerty controls though :'(. I like that the world builds itself by layers. Like others said though, collisions can be a bit sticky.
Lots of polish, nice concept. Congratz.
A bit too linear, but still got a smile out of me.
In room 6 I shot myself and was tp'ed in another romm so I got stuck :(. Otherwise cool idea, the game feel is quite nice! Except that you get stuck when you press a button, that was a bit frustrating.
Lacking audio on this! It could've made for a real nice atmosphere! Anyways, cool game, I had fun. Managed to reach 11 :). Could have been good to have the card effect reminded on the card.
Man this was EXCELLENT. I loved it. Such an experience. So sad the "monster" in the end doesn't seem to be doable. Can you spoil the ending for me?
The musics were excellent and carried the universe very well. The voice-acting was top-notch. The story kept tension going. Really loved it :). Missed the theme a bit maybe :P.
Clever idea :). Your game is a proper tangram game !. UI could use a bit of work though, as well as feedback.
Beautiful art! Too bad there was no sound or effects, but this must've taken you a lot of time :).
A really simple entry, does its job. It's lacking on the feedback part though: no timer showing when I'm going to change shape, no effect when I grab a correct shape, no indication that the game is timed. Could use a bit more of all of these :)
Interesting concept, but I don't think you needed 3 characters, especially when there is no indicator that you're going to switch. I also missed any special attacks on the characters, so combat was a bit slow. Nice mood though! The music also had a familiar ring to it, you used a procedural website right? If memory serves right :)
Extremely interesting concept! I managed to find the light eventually :). It seems modules are not really balanced (the grid module...?), but this could be expanded into something quite neat. But there a subtle line to tread to avoid frustration.
Very nice job, good concept and take on the theme, and neat execution. Just missing the music :)
Not really my cup of tea, but well-made.
Simple, cool particle effect, well executed. Lacking some music maybe :)
Extremely interesting! Explanations at the start are too dense IMHO. You've done a great job customizing the abundant music stuff, I almost didn't recognize it :). Tooltips would have been a must, but then again time was short...
Nice atmosphere, cool flavor. Was a bit hard to test on my Azerty keyboard though.
Interesting concept, although simple :). Too bad there aren't any sounds!
A little buggy, but the indications seemed nice and well placed, as well as the concept.
Simple concept, well executed. Maybe a bit too simple :). The sounds quickly get annoying though.
Well polished, and the story is fun and surprised me, but I feel like a bit more gameplay would have been good
Hi, I tried a lot to get the game to actually start but... I was just staring at my little farmer girl sacrifice not growing. Restarted and same thing happened, at day 10 she was still at 0/100 growth. Maybe I did something wrong? Too bad because the concept was interesting, even if a bit surrealist :P
Hi, nice entry, it feels pretty tight overall. The music was rather good :)
Gameplay wise I think I'd not have given the "dash" to tributes, made them quite annoying to chase (and with my gooooold!). Also the gameplay encourages you to camp at the middle, I'm not sure if this is what you intended or not.
In any case, good job!
I like the concept but as a sim player it was a bit frustrating to not be able to fully enjoy the simulation unfolding below, as I had to keep focus on the population numbers and the kill rules. Nevertheless it was a nice experience :)
Hi,
It's an interesting entry, but to be honest I think you went for a concept a bit complex for a jam. I didn't figure how to use the split mechanic and the swap leader one was a bit anecdotic. Impressive size for the dungeon, but I'd probably have gone for something smaller with a tighter experience overall :)
It was still a nice game!
Very nice music. But no restart on the same level killed it for me :(. Nice mood though!
I loved this game. Very interesting take on the theme, although a bit literal. I think the most optimized solution is to actually sacrifice each and every child you get and keep your pop as a couple ^^.
I'd have liked to be able to have more input though (maybe place some buildings to defend?)
Anyways very nice game!
Very interesting approach, not sure I got how you interpreted the theme but other than that the sense of exploration and understanding your little world was really something :) It was still too obfuscated for my taste, would have been cool if you gave us the option to reveal some stuff between runs, or with a special pick-up maybe... anyways, good job :)
Nice game, well put together, could almost ship as is for mobile :). Maybe if you add more enemies, some upgrades etc.
Very very impressive. I like strategy games and yours was really cool. I wish there was more base-building involved.
Nice job, even though a bit classical in its approach to the theme. The music was nice and so were the sounds!
Too bad you didn't have any sound as the game was awesome! Got a vide of Binding of Isaac and Risk of Rain with the items, had a lot of fun playing! I feel the wound effects shouldn't be so easily cancelled out by the items you get though. I found that it was always better to take a wound and a chest than passing it.
Ah and next jam please don't forget us AZERTY users :(
Great job!
Quite interesting! Indeed it feels ambitious, but as a result the gameplay wasn't dynamic enough for me. I can see what you were going for though and I'm impressed.
Nice concept, too bad you couldn't push it further! I'd have liked if the different bars actually interacted between each other. It's also a shame that we're so focused on the little bars emptying when you made really cool art on the bottom, but my eyes couldn't leave the bars!!
Very impressive art, especially the animation. Good job on the mechanic, simple but straight-forward, and also the level design was good! The gravity felt a bit "floaty" but maybe that's just me. Good job!
Interesting mechanic but a bit too simple to really offer impacting choices. Maybe different type of buildings next time, a passive income?
Anyways good job on submitting :)
Very nice game, very polished, good variety of traps, slick UI... very impressive in 48h. I did quit at the platform levels because the character not following the platform made me crazy. Great job!
This game made me feel so uncomfortable x). I don't know if it was what you were going for. The visuals and sounds are peculiar. Otherwise gameplay is pretty straightforward, the chicken is a bit "floaty" for my taste. Nice job!
Nice game, I liked the mood :) Gameplay was a bit slow for me, but I was surprised to see we used more or less the same perspective (top-down with the black circle on the camera)! The genres are quite different though.
Well done!
Hi, nice entry, felt fluid to play and I liked the iso view. However I felt the music was strangely out of theme with the mood you had.
Solid entry, very well-made puzzle game. Would have been nice to know more about character abilities, but it was also interesting to deduce them in-game. Agree that spacebar to change characters was not the greatest choice as it's often associated with jumping. Also the difficulty ramps up waaaay too fast for my taste ^^
Great job!
Hi, a simple entry, but it does the job :). Shout out to us AZERTY user, was a pain to control the character :( Maybe arrow keys next time? Would also have been nice with some sound :)
Feels very nice to play, and the concept is interesting too, and a nice take on the theme. However, you have some cards that cancel each other out, and this provokes a bug of always getting the same card drawn afterwards (even if eventually you hide one of the two good cards).
Overall a very nice experience though :)
Hi, nice game :) The graphics especially are nice. Not too fond of the camera and you didn't have AZERTY controls, but otherwise the game ran fine !
You did pretty well for going full 3D! I'd have liked the game to be more low-poly like the cave level (that I couldn't beat, it was a bit hard to parse). But the level of polish is impressive and I liked the humor in mission descriptions and victory/defeat texts :)
Really fun game, simple mechanic but hard to master. Too bad there aren't more elements to underline the love thing, like some sounds or some music. Good job!
Hi, nice game, but needing to click and then drag got tiring really fast. It could have been cool to be able to stack people to sacrifice. Also maybe some improvements to impact the village (one people sacrificed gives more appeasement, or faster people generation, etc.) Cheers!
Hi, pretty nice game! I liked the idea and the core loop but in my opinion the game is much too difficult. I'd give way more items on the first levels and reduce the fire decay rate (maybe even hve no decay on the first level so players can get a feel of what they need to do).
Also it's a bit frustrating that the fire decays when you're changing levels. I also had some trouble with the controls sometimes (playing in browser). But it was a nice experience overall :)
Very cool, impressive game with a high level of polish. I did want more content after finding the book :)
Interesting concept, too bad you were caught up on time.
This is an AWESOME concept, and a great idea. Kudos. The execution could have benefited from more work, like, the rules are not super clear on what defines resemblance, so it becomes mostly guesswork and luck. Maybe with more explicit rules and a timer?
But apart from that, really cool :) I think my favorite part was the picture of the ancestor getting progressively destroyed.
Very nice game, nothing much to add, very good feel. The timer is definitely too short. I'd have gone for longer timer maybe with more options or restrictions from the God.
Maybe buy more time by sacrificing randos in the crowd :p?
Nice job!
Nice game, controls were fairly intuitive and the mood was pretty good. Game difficulty seems OK and the encounters were rewarding.Too bad there as no music, but the sound effects were great!
Very nice game, quite polished, cool concept... I had fun :)
The only complaint I'd have is that it's a bit hard to parse the 3 needs with their 3 levels, over 10 cubes. That's a looot of info for the player. I know time is tight, but if you consider expanding this I'd go for much easier levels at the start (1 cube with 1 need to explain the mechanics).
Day 66 here :). I really enjoyed the game, although there was definitely too much clicking. I think being able to pause somehow lessens the feeling of impending doom brought by the zombies. Maybe a smaller pace with speed controls would have worked even better? Anyways, nice job!
Hi, I like management game so was pretty pleased to find this :) A bit simple for my taste and it took me forever to figure out how to sacrifice a resource to the God. With a bit of village management it would have been loads of fun! Good job
Too bad there wasn't any sound :( I really enjoyed the game and that's the thing it was mostly missing, since your loop is pretty tight. Well done!
Nice game, a bit slow for my taste (would have been perfect with speed controls), but I definitely enjoyed the art and the overall mood.
Strange idea to do a runner for the theme but why not ^^. I liked the art the most I think.
Hi, nice game! I was drawn by the minimalist art direction and I must say I really dig the look of your game :). Too bad you didn't have any sound, could have made for an awesome overall mood. Good job!
Hey, you made an OK clicker game :). I'd advise you next time to give more visual rewards to players as they progress because right now having more sacrifice doesn't really bring us anything other than just generating sacrifices faster. Even tiny visual changes to the character/pentagram could have worked. Congrats on the first game though!
I like the art direction and some of the polish touches are nice. The camera looks really cool, but to be honest for me it was difficult to control and I couldn't even get the sword and shield, so I didn't get to see the ending.
Very polished game, I'm impressed by your art style, animations and music (the music was really cool!) Gameplay was more classical but still a nice approach of the theme. Well done!
Congrats on the first game! Cool concept. It's a bit hard to understand if you are carrying a part or not, so I had some trouble fixing things around. Also, I think the decay on things is way too fast, but maybe I am just dumb.
Anyways, cool graphics! :)
