LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Sacrifices Must Be Made by danman9914 2018-12-03T06:20:42Z

Absolute masterpiece, great sound and mood. This is by far my favorite.

Took me a couple of attempts to beat the last game.

Antony's Automatic Animal Asylum by Nehvis 2018-12-03T19:39:37Z

I really like this game although it is quite hard. The music is also right up my alley, it would be awesome if you could release it seperately from the game.

Cut Your Game by Something Something Games 2018-12-05T21:43:28Z

I like the concept, but it would have been nice to have a final score.

Artillery Fodder by seed42 2018-12-06T20:20:15Z

Very good concept and a nice take on the theme, well done. The thing that annoyed me the most was the camera perspective, i think a more top-down camera angle would have been better.

Generic Zombie Apocalypse Game Title by NoodleMaster 2018-12-03T07:03:05Z

Thanks for the feedback

@monkeedude1212 It's true that the mechanics are not very transparent and that the UI is lacking.

If I have the time this week I will try to upload a updated version and incorporate the feedback and ideas i get.

Generic Zombie Apocalypse Game Title by NoodleMaster 2018-12-03T18:01:18Z

@slizzben currently not

@jannick-larsen I decided against any sound, because i am utterly incompetent at it.

Thank you for your feedback, i will add those to the list of stuff i want to improve.

Generic Zombie Apocalypse Game Title by NoodleMaster 2018-12-03T19:14:11Z

@mightymaster99 Thank you for spending that time to play my game.

Adding a smaller tutorial island to introduce different game mechanics might be a good idea.

Generic Zombie Apocalypse Game Title by NoodleMaster 2018-12-03T21:39:01Z

Thank you all so much for the kind words and feedback.

@kszaku Turn based you say... i will think about that.

@marcellus i will spend some extra time on making a better ui

Sadly i cant do it in time for the jam, but i will keep working on it.

Creepy-Crawlies by KaunisPoika 2018-12-03T21:22:58Z

Really fun little strategy game with decent AI, I like it.

Evil Cult Managment System v1.0 by Kszaku 2018-12-03T17:54:31Z

Holy shit

2 spooky 4 me

Plane accordingly by Martynas 2018-12-04T18:26:18Z

moving the plane up and down feels very satisfying for some reason... well done

LD44 — Your life is currency

JUNO by DeathBySnail 2019-04-29T15:04:24Z

Overall really fun game.

I noticed that when you have 4 shields and pick up another shield powerup, it has no effect. Maybe disable spawning of shield powerups so that the player cant accidentally waste money on them.

Watt Balance by Coda Highland 2019-05-01T10:56:53Z

Overall, this is a solid game.

Here a some of my thoughts: - It's hard to navigate. I played it for about 15 minutes and only managed to find two power stations. Maybe a minimap or some kind of objective indicator would help. - The environment seems large but feels somewhat empty. - Sitting around and waiting for the batteries to recharges isn't fun. There should be a proactive way to recharge. - The sounds and music were really good.

Spider Disaster by ytaha 2019-04-29T15:33:39Z

I like the simple and yet interesting combat. Once you get the hang of it, it gets really fun and engaging. Great Job

Blockson: My Life as a Cryptocurrency by DanCan 2019-05-01T10:21:24Z

I like it. Reminds me a bit of factory idle.

It would be nice if there was a way to rotate the components and see the outputs/inputs before placing them.

Bill the Paper Plane by Ehrest 2019-04-29T16:36:17Z

Even while the game is very small, it's a solid entry.

It could however use a sentence on the tutorial screen that states the goal of the game.

Pixel Hell by NoodleMaster 2019-04-29T16:48:05Z

@oblivion @generalanimal @pwroff @jsec

Thanks for the feedback. I understand that the jump timer is frustrating.

I really appreciate the positive comments about the art, it was my first attempt at pixelart.

Pixel Hell by NoodleMaster 2019-04-29T17:30:20Z

@xcvzxc You can escape by jumping while crouched.

Pixel Hell by NoodleMaster 2019-05-01T11:04:33Z

@jcklie That sucks, do you know if it's allowed to add alternative keybindings at this point?

@skoggy Yeah, I will definetely won't use a jump timer again.

Rollin' Bonez by J. H. Freedman 2019-05-01T10:59:42Z

Really like the music

Ascension by Julia Rässa 2019-05-01T11:12:50Z

Interesting take on the theme.

Also, super cute!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Raid Healer Simulator by fydar 2020-04-20T16:03:31Z

This is really neat. Especially the text chat is a nice touch.

I don't really play any MMOs and apparently I am also a terrible healer.

Fire of Life by NoodleMaster 2020-04-20T16:22:58Z

@adfre12yu You're right, they do look pretty similar. While all graphic assets were created from scratch, we definitely took inspiration from other pixel art games like Stardew Valley or Terraria.

LD57 — Depths

Buried Under Profits by tinykidtoo 2025-04-07T15:51:34Z

Wow, this is really good. Especially the shooting and dashing feels satisfying. Bit sad that there's only a windows build, but it runs just fine using wine.

Mirror City by vidarn 2025-04-11T13:49:37Z

Best entry so far for me and also the first game I've seen to use mirrors/reflection in this way. The puzzle mechanics are intuitive except for the placement order, that stumped me early on.

Ribux - Spelunker delux by daandruff 2025-04-07T15:41:44Z

Fun and neat little game. Really impressive that you didn't use an engine. Also, you can softlock yourself by digging a hole until you have no more shovels and can't jump back out. Reset only seems to work when you're dead.

Fathom Pond by Mathstr0fficial 2025-04-07T10:57:35Z

Very interesting game. I haven't played it through since i don't have much time. It also took me some attempts to figure out how to do some of the stuff (like using items). But overall I liked it.

Wyatt & I by Untitled Studios 2025-04-07T17:22:33Z

Really like the style. Modifying pieces and rules is pretty cool. Neat spin on the theme.

Though, it would be nice to have a playable web version.

DeepFrame 9 by JavaSaurus 2025-04-06T23:20:11Z

Solid game, banger music!

Super Deep Breath by NoodleMaster 2025-04-07T15:30:54Z

@littlegamer Thank you very much.

DEPTH OF FIELD by chiyeon 2025-04-09T16:00:58Z

Really cool and unique idea for the theme.

Minesweeper 3D by LittleGamer 2025-04-07T10:18:50Z

Would have been interesting to have the layers influence each other instead of being isolated. But nice game nonetheless. Minesweeper is always fun.

Delta Breach by NonDev 2025-04-08T14:19:04Z

Looks cool and has good atmosphere. While it's fun to figure stuff out yourself, a short tutorial or a least a description of what you're supposed to to would be nice.

Dungeon Chef by Clare_Chan1738 2025-04-07T17:45:54Z

Having a 'back' button in the recipe book would be nice, I flipped through the pages too fast and missed the recipe. Having to go through all recipes again was a bit annoying. Otherwise, good game, the different voice/text sound pitches were a nice touch.

Bellophobia by DeepShark 2025-04-08T14:08:19Z

This is really good, especially if it's your first time. I really like the spooky atmosphere/mood.
