Sacrifices Must Be Made by danman9914 2018-12-03T06:20:42Z
Absolute masterpiece, great sound and mood. This is by far my favorite.
Took me a couple of attempts to beat the last game.

I really like this game although it is quite hard. The music is also right up my alley, it would be awesome if you could release it seperately from the game.
I like the concept, but it would have been nice to have a final score.
Very good concept and a nice take on the theme, well done. The thing that annoyed me the most was the camera perspective, i think a more top-down camera angle would have been better.
Thanks for the feedback
@monkeedude1212 It's true that the mechanics are not very transparent and that the UI is lacking.
If I have the time this week I will try to upload a updated version and incorporate the feedback and ideas i get.
@slizzben currently not
@jannick-larsen I decided against any sound, because i am utterly incompetent at it.
Thank you for your feedback, i will add those to the list of stuff i want to improve.
@mightymaster99 Thank you for spending that time to play my game.
Adding a smaller tutorial island to introduce different game mechanics might be a good idea.
Thank you all so much for the kind words and feedback.
@kszaku Turn based you say... i will think about that.
@marcellus i will spend some extra time on making a better ui
Sadly i cant do it in time for the jam, but i will keep working on it.
Really fun little strategy game with decent AI, I like it.
moving the plane up and down feels very satisfying for some reason... well done
Overall really fun game.
I noticed that when you have 4 shields and pick up another shield powerup, it has no effect. Maybe disable spawning of shield powerups so that the player cant accidentally waste money on them.
Overall, this is a solid game.
Here a some of my thoughts: - It's hard to navigate. I played it for about 15 minutes and only managed to find two power stations. Maybe a minimap or some kind of objective indicator would help. - The environment seems large but feels somewhat empty. - Sitting around and waiting for the batteries to recharges isn't fun. There should be a proactive way to recharge. - The sounds and music were really good.
I like the simple and yet interesting combat. Once you get the hang of it, it gets really fun and engaging. Great Job
I like it. Reminds me a bit of factory idle.
It would be nice if there was a way to rotate the components and see the outputs/inputs before placing them.
Even while the game is very small, it's a solid entry.
It could however use a sentence on the tutorial screen that states the goal of the game.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand that the jump timer is frustrating.
I really appreciate the positive comments about the art, it was my first attempt at pixelart.
@xcvzxc You can escape by jumping while crouched.
@jcklie That sucks, do you know if it's allowed to add alternative keybindings at this point?
@skoggy Yeah, I will definetely won't use a jump timer again.
Really like the music
This is really neat. Especially the text chat is a nice touch.
I don't really play any MMOs and apparently I am also a terrible healer.
@adfre12yu You're right, they do look pretty similar. While all graphic assets were created from scratch, we definitely took inspiration from other pixel art games like Stardew Valley or Terraria.
Wow, this is really good. Especially the shooting and dashing feels satisfying. Bit sad that there's only a windows build, but it runs just fine using wine.
Best entry so far for me and also the first game I've seen to use mirrors/reflection in this way. The puzzle mechanics are intuitive except for the placement order, that stumped me early on.
Fun and neat little game. Really impressive that you didn't use an engine. Also, you can softlock yourself by digging a hole until you have no more shovels and can't jump back out. Reset only seems to work when you're dead.
Very interesting game. I haven't played it through since i don't have much time. It also took me some attempts to figure out how to do some of the stuff (like using items). But overall I liked it.
Really like the style. Modifying pieces and rules is pretty cool. Neat spin on the theme.
Though, it would be nice to have a playable web version.
Solid game, banger music!
@littlegamer Thank you very much.
Really cool and unique idea for the theme.
Would have been interesting to have the layers influence each other instead of being isolated. But nice game nonetheless. Minesweeper is always fun.
Looks cool and has good atmosphere. While it's fun to figure stuff out yourself, a short tutorial or a least a description of what you're supposed to to would be nice.
Having a 'back' button in the recipe book would be nice, I flipped through the pages too fast and missed the recipe. Having to go through all recipes again was a bit annoying. Otherwise, good game, the different voice/text sound pitches were a nice touch.
This is really good, especially if it's your first time. I really like the spooky atmosphere/mood.
