It is not very clear what to do, but it is realized very cool! I even shuddered when the eye appeared, extremely atmospheric and quality, I like your style, you should develop this idea.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD57 → Delta Breach

Looks cool and has good atmosphere. While it's fun to figure stuff out yourself, a short tutorial or a least a description of what you're supposed to to would be nice.
Great game overall, but after understanding the mechanics of each component I was a bit stumped as to what to do next.
The atmosphere is great, and the art in general is stellar
So mysterious! I love it, what should I do... I'll come back to play more. I need to figure it out !
Great vibe, I really liked it!
Just pressing buttons, controls, and levers is satisfying. The atmosphere and art direction are incredible. I haven't figured out what I need to do to ensure my survival yet, but I'll look into it.
I really love the look and feel of this game, but I cannot work out what I'm supposed to be doing.
Looks amazing, the vibe is immaculate, got me really scared at times, but I didn't understand shit
I really like the pixel art and the mood you created - the eye looks really cool even if I don't really understand what it does :P.
Using different colours to indicate system status worked and I think I eventually figured out all the different systems. Played until around 1000Hz then figured there probably wasn't an end game screen?

So strange and nice. Good art!
Like others have said, the vibes are great, the art is great, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
I figured out how to swap(?) CO2 filters, and I assumed that I was supposed to be matching the display on the left? I did eventually successfully relay one signal, but I don't really understand what I did to cause that? I stayed at around 40hz for a while, and kind of just fiddled around until I got some numbers to type into the keypad. I never figured out what the Prime button and lever did, or if the window cracking was related to me failing or not.
Thank you for the kind comments! The "what am I doing?" is intentional and hopefully that came across and wasn't too frustrating.
@chybby: Yeah, unfortunately I didn't manage to get in a victory or wrap up in satisfying way. I originally wanted to have story records unlock based on the number of signals you relayed.
@jcourt: To not give too much away, the bottom left and window cracking are connected.
Just like others have said. I was curious, enjoyed the graphics, sounds, and atmosphere. But I just had no idea what to do so I eventually just gave up. :shrug:
I really enjoyed this game! The sound design, visuals, atmosphere, and core gameplay are phenomenal. It is very confusing at first, but that does fit the atmosphere and horror so well. My only issue is that once you do figure out some of the systems, its too easy to avoid certain threats, like CO2 and the eye, which creates a sense of safety. The experience of those first 15 minutes however, is perfect.
Aesthetically this was my favorite entry. By far. I love the pixel art, I love the ambiance, and the vibe is immaculate. The only issue was that I was so confused when I played. I played through it a few times and the only thing that tipped me off that I was succeeding was the end screen telling me how many signals I relayed. Now that I've read your above comment I realize the confusion was somewhat intentional, but I still feel like some player feedback was necessary to let the player know they were at least doing something right.
I will still say, the art alone made me check out your other games and the stuff you makes me want to get better at creating. I look forward to things you make in the future :thumbsup:
The atmosphere in this is excellent, but try as I might I simply could not figure out what I was supposed to do. None of the sound-related devices seemed to do anything (is there supposed to be some way to glean a number to dial from that...?), and while I could eject the CO2 filter, I couldn't figure out a way to put it back _in_, so I would just eventually die every time. I'll probably come back to this later and try again, since I really want to figure it out, but as it stands it feels like I'm just pressing random buttons while I slowly die. I see that the confusing nature of the game is intentional, but even just a small pointer would be nice as I'm really not sure how to play this at all.
That was very beautiful and atmospheric game, nice job! :thumbsup_tone1:
Great job and good artstyle
This game is such a mysterious experience, I really like that there's no hand holding and you need to be the judge of what you're seeing. The atmosphere is very thick, I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat throughout all my attempts to get through the descend. I didn't yet get through like some of the commenters here, but I definitely feel like revisiting and trying again. Reeeally good one, guys!
Thank you everyone again for the kind comments.
@chuckeles: That's fair.
@pixelstain: I'm really happy to hear that and definitely agree. It could have really done with some additional mechanics being layered in as you progressed so there was more to figure out and manage.
@mattpopa: Thank you, that means a lot. Agree with your thoughts, ending up with not having a more clear success on relaying signals was a miss especially.
@shadyshade, @eugenik: Thank you!
@momotiktik: Thank you! It always surprises me how the feel comes together once sounds start getting added.
This is easily one of my favourite of the jam games so far that I've played. I spend ages messing around and trying to figure out what to do. The atmosphere in this is amazing, I loved how the lights go dim, things start happening all creepy, all amazing. It's one of those where you just need to mess around and figure out methods and what to do. It gives me gameplay vibes that of Myst. Highly enjoyed, amazing stuff!
@sinclairstrange: Thank you so much!
