C.R.A.B. (Crustacean Rapid Action BattleForce) by StrangerYann 2024-10-11T21:19:41Z

This game felt like it needed more polish. The graphics were beautiful, the level destruction was very fun, but as a game it didn't feel like it had a lot going for it.

The only weapon that felt useful was the default machine gun and I was simply holding left click the entire time while shooting at enemies. The hitboxes were a bit off as when you were on higher terrain, you could not shoot enemies on a different y level. Often the destroyed terrain would hide small enemies making it so you couldn't see them at all. The bosses also didn't have health bars which would have made those fights much better.

The animations and overall design were very cute and have a lot of potential to work with a game that has good mechanics. Would love to see more in the future, there's good potential here!

My hand definitely hurts from spamming left and right click .

Insect Racing League by mhorth 2024-10-11T20:11:07Z

Woaaaahhhh, this game was awesome! Felt great except for the part where the world record ghosts are so much faster than me .

There are so many small elements that made everything feel good from the trails showing the direction to the angle of the checkpoints to the HUD display the much needed info, it all felt right. This seems like it has the potential for something much larger. The levels are a bit too same-y making memorizing the "race tracks" a bit difficult, especially since it's a 3D space, however for 72 hours the tracks are still considerably well done and the art style is lovely.

Overall super impressed. Well done!

Game was fun! You could definitely see the inspiration as the game felt very much like an RP7-lite. The art style was simple, but great. Music was fitting.

I experienced the same bug where sometimes a monster would end up in between 2 slots and instead of getting an effect I would be attacked by a monster. Only other critique I have is that the grayed out shield and health was confusing when there were also empty slots. Possibly too many non-effect slots?

Overall was still great, game was a bit easy, but that might've been just my luck :stuck_out_tongue:. Great job!2024-10-11_14-53.png

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-10T05:13:57Z

Easily the most fun I've had in a game jam yet. It scratched my "Schedule 1" itch haha. I liked the art style and I very much appreciated the fact that this game had exposition as well as a tutorial. You intertwined progression with exploration which was fantastic. I loved the dialogue bits, it added the flair to all the gameplay aspects. I also just love 'clicker' games that have a clear cut goal.

My only nit picks are the music going quiet for minutes at a time and the menu pausing the money making. It made me want to limit the time I was talking to Unc in favor of maximizing the money gains.

Great game guys. It was fun and that in itself is a great success.

Delta Breach by NonDev 2025-04-10T05:20:58Z

Aesthetically this was my favorite entry. By far. I love the pixel art, I love the ambiance, and the vibe is immaculate. The only issue was that I was so confused when I played. I played through it a few times and the only thing that tipped me off that I was succeeding was the end screen telling me how many signals I relayed. Now that I've read your above comment I realize the confusion was somewhat intentional, but I still feel like some player feedback was necessary to let the player know they were at least doing something right.

I will still say, the art alone made me check out your other games and the stuff you makes me want to get better at creating. I look forward to things you make in the future

I love the originality from this game. The art was awesome; the ability to observe the objects was great, and I love the newspaper/tabloid aesthetic.

In terms of gameplay, I feel like the fact that everything was on a time limit hurt the game more than it helped. I wanted to take my time looking at the different artifacts, but I felt rushed by the music and the time limit counting down and wasn't able to appreciate things as much as I wanted. In the end I just ended up memorizing which artifacts were real or fake and speed running through it.

Overall, this was awesome. This would be a super relaxing game to sit back and simulate being an archaeologist. I love the presentation, good job guys!

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-08T22:25:05Z

I love the vibe and aesthetic of this game. The colors POP, the song is bangin' and the movement is good. The gameplay immediately threw me back to Doodle Jump. Sometimes the enemies were in spots that made it really hard to traverse, but overall this was a straight vibe. ++

Fishing Therapy by Dadidou 2025-04-08T22:48:20Z

This game felt like a fever dream... in a good way hahaha. The art was polished and the gameplay felt great. It was personally really easy, but it honestly probably struck a happy medium for players overall. Great job with the different designs in the level. I love the details in all the pixel art, it was great. I wish there was sound, but it's understandable if there wasn't enough time.

Personal case: I played using WASD because I don't have arrow keys so using enter to switch weapons was a bit awkward personally, but still playable!

Overall this was good fun; the wackiness of the story and setting was great. Awesome job!

Umbra Glyphs by Fernando Y3 2025-04-08T21:48:44Z

This is a good start for a game, but it doesn't feel like a game yet, it just feels like a test demo. I would recommend adding more gameplay through the platforming and just content in general. As of right now it's just a bunch of assets thrown together. The platforming was a bit rough too as the player moves a bit too fast for the spacing.

The lighting and ambience was good so I would look forward to what you could build with that catacomb vibe. Keep at it and I hope you guys can make something great!
