It's an interesting game, I like the visual style, it would be cool if there were more interactions with the finds.

zezhaozhao 2025-04-08 03:39

好玩好玩

zezhaozhao 2025-04-08 03:49

太牛啦!!!

helloylis 2025-04-08 10:17

I love this style! An interesting assignment.

keith-wang 2025-04-08 10:53

Great art. Antique appraisal is an innovative topic and matches the theme perfectly.

foxecho 2025-04-08 11:57

王刚模拟器,好玩。

philocode 2025-04-08 11:57

Hey, this game was a lot of fun, but incredibly hard to get through it, especially on your first try. The graphics were great, the humour was amazing and the music was very nice and upbeat. The only bug I noticed was that the c14 device didn't really work when positioned right on top of the artifact - I had to move it around a bit to find a place for it to work.

indiealesha 2025-04-08 12:12

Cool game! I've always loved history and mythology. As a kid, I even dreamed of becoming an archaeologist!

missspelled 2025-04-08 12:24

Would be great if there was a certain randomness to the artifacts so you cant just speedrun it by memorizing all of them 🤔... also the timer is cruuuel 😭, but other then that, great job!!! ^^ 👍

mrmanguy 2025-04-08 14:17

Prior to playing I thought this would be a mining game, but nope. It's a completely different game, it gives me Phasmophobia vibes, so good job with that!

ruruie 2025-04-08 14:17

I think my biggest crit here is the bobbing of the books and the wand was really distracting. That said, it wasn't bad for a couple runs!

beebster-games 2025-04-08 14:22

So tried the game again and found the arrow to decide if fake or real.

Game played a lot better LOL.

Not sure what made something fake and made something real, but the game was interesting

Thanks for the play.

yibirabbit007 2025-04-08 14:28

文化传播模拟器哈哈哈,我做了一个“落井之蛙”!

olegator0270 2025-04-08 17:06

Nice art style

bluewoozle 2025-04-08 17:24

It's a nice idea! I was struggling with the C14 tool though. I couldn't seem to get it to work on the artifacts which made the game a little frustrating at times.

logovostudio 2025-04-08 18:11

Interesting idea, like it. And art very cool!

rizbleu 2025-04-08 18:29

Love the logo !

jtap 2025-04-08 19:38

Very funny game, it was fun. Thank you!

hypersomnia 2025-04-08 20:41

Love the innovation! Thinking about it from an operational standpoint, maybe you can think about how we can look at an artifact through a magnifying glass and rotate it at the same time. Right now I have to drag and drop the magnifier again every time I turn it.Really good job!

mattpopa 2025-04-08 21:13

I love the originality from this game. The art was awesome; the ability to observe the objects was great, and I love the newspaper/tabloid aesthetic.

In terms of gameplay, I feel like the fact that everything was on a time limit hurt the game more than it helped. I wanted to take my time looking at the different artifacts, but I felt rushed by the music and the time limit counting down and wasn't able to appreciate things as much as I wanted. In the end I just ended up memorizing which artifacts were real or fake and speed running through it.

Overall, this was awesome. This would be a super relaxing game to sit back and simulate being an archaeologist. I love the presentation, good job guys!

youzi 2025-04-09 04:45

Such an incredibly interesting and innovative game!

pe4q07 2025-04-09 10:13

I adore the touch of different endings here! And 3D models are executed at an excellent level of mastery.

baizeqwq 2025-04-09 10:57

制作好精良!!!太强了!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:34

@harvmori thank you!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:38

@philocode Thanks for the suggestion! We'll fix it in a future update. Really glad you had fun!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:40

@bluewoozle Thank you for playing! Yeah, the C14 tool can be a bit tricky at first, we’ll definitely fix and improve it in future updates!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:42

@beebster-games Glad it played better this time, Totally get that the fake vs real logic needs more clarity, thank you for playing anyway!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:44

@indiealesha Thanks so much! That’s so cool to hear — archaeology is such a fascinating field!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:46

@missspelled Haha yes, we want add some difficulties in the game so we limited the time. Thanks a lot for playing and great feedback!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:47

@mrmanguy Phasmophobia vibes? Love that! Thanks for playing and glad it gave you a surprise!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:48

@ruruie Totally understand, and thanks for suggestion!

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:50

@mattpopa Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! I'm really happy you enjoyed the art and the newspaper — that means a lot. Totally get what you’re saying about the time pressure; finding the right balance between tension and calm observation is tricky, your feedback really helps us reflect on that.

tomas88a 2025-04-09 11:51

@hypersomnia Thanks so much! Really appreciate the suggestion

surweaver 2025-04-09 13:20

This is a really cool game!

I really like the revision of the Papers Please concept, although I would really like to spend more time in archeology, although I understand that a jam game should have some kind of challenge :D

Images, sound, gameplay - everything is done at a very competent level, you have a very cool presentation!

thomas-bringer 2025-04-09 13:41

Wow, really cool! the idea and theming is super neat, reminds me of paper please, beautifully executed, awesome entry!

croped 2025-04-09 13:44

Neat game, papers please but happy! good job!

bamboodesigner 2025-04-09 13:48

Great work! Time limit is slightly too short.

jachymthegoat 2025-04-09 19:39

Interesting game!

mhorth 2025-04-09 22:47

Whoa, serious innovation points here, this is very unique!

I do think there was a bit of conflict between the timer mechanic rushing us, and the in-depth research wanting us to take our time and fully explore. I'd be interested to see if the game feels even more fun if it leaned into just one category, rushed or chill.

mollusk 2025-04-10 01:00

Fun game with a nice presentation and it feels good to interact with. I was a little confused at first whether or not I was identifying correctly. Some green text for "correct" responses might help. Overall nice work!

verttixpertti 2025-04-10 08:41

Cool game. Liked the mix of 2d and 3d art.

arthur-tang 2025-04-10 09:18

牛逼

tomas88a 2025-04-10 18:40

@mollusk thank you for playing and suggestion, it'll be very helpful!

tomas88a 2025-04-10 18:45

@mhorth thank you for your suggestion! Yes the time mechanic makes the game difficult cause we want more challenge for the player, but obviously almost everyone said the time is too short, we'll consider your guys' advice and develop further(if we have time :)), thank you anyway to play the game

nacchan 2025-04-10 19:01

Super High quality game!! love the details when moving the detector on manuals and stuff. 画面和音乐的质量超级高!老师们好厉害!

thesmellofoxygen 2025-04-10 20:25

Very impressive amount of detail and polish in so little time! Handling the 3d objects in the web browser was a nice touch. I wish the end screen had a better breakdown of how well you did each time, but otherwise, I have no complaints. Very very impressive. Pretty funny too.

p1x3lc0w 2025-04-10 21:33

Really great visual style! Reminds me of Papers Please with the timer and checking details as fast as possible. One small inconsistency i found was that the C14 Detector gave a different number each time if you used it one the same artifact multiple times, tough thats really just a nitpick. Great work and thanks for the game!

onhore 2025-04-10 23:35

The idea is pretty interesting, but I think I should have made everything more meditative and calm.

jetaimais 2025-04-11 03:22

Such a cool game! I really loved the 3D models — they looked awesome! Big congrats to the team!

jscommander 2025-04-11 12:43

Very interesting interpretation of the theme: the depth of archaeological excavations. I enjoyed rotating the vases and matching them with the descriptions from the manual. Great job!

flying-dog-fish 2025-04-11 17:58

Nice game. And pretty. It seems hard at first, but it got easier once I grokked the gameplay. The items always appear in the same places and layer so you can actually memorize which one is fake and which isn't. Some randomization of the items between layers and their position would prevent that.

I wish the sounds would tell whether I was right or wrong instead of having to rely on the text below.

And what's with the scanner? It doesn't seem to do anything and there are enough clues without it anyway.

athospap 2025-04-12 12:24

Very unique concept, I really liked it! I took me some time to get used to it

someone 2025-04-13 18:53

That was a cool idea, though it seems to end up more as a game of memorisation rather than investigation. I don't feel the time pressure worked well either as it encouraged just memorising the sequence. I would have liked to be able to put the item back down and examined the other artefacts before making a decision.

rinevard 2025-04-17 13:26

super cool concept! 好酷!

rolly 2025-04-17 19:22

Very nice take on the theme. I think I would have preferred if it was not timed. In its current state you can't really properly analyze every detail and do the job of detecting why some object would be real or fake. It took me 3 runs (and partly memorizing which ones were real and which ones weren't) to win!

The visuals are amazing, the 3d objects look very good, and the overall layout felt very nice!

The music is kinda fun, very groovy, it adds some good mood to your game!

Nice job!
