LD54 — Limited Space

A Shared Earth by Joror 2023-10-07T13:56:51Z

I really like the concept, I need to come back and play it some more! I would've really appreciated getting a preview of what actions do without needing to select them first. The world spinning is nice but in my opinion that could be paused at least while you're selecting placement, I ended up just toggling it off each attempt. Overall feels very ambitious and think with a bit of polish could be really compelling for people that enjoy this sort of resource juggling game. Great job!

Broken Robot by Local Minimum 2023-10-06T16:02:18Z

I took me a while to figure out you can click on the abilities in memory but after that it was interesting!

Start Wreck: The Finite Frontier by LandoSystems 2023-10-03T15:59:11Z

I really enjoyed it with all the corny jokes and just chucking ship after ship into space. Sorry 61 astronauts, your sacrifice - and accidentally getting run over by follow up rockets - wasn't in vain!

Eye See You by Almax 2023-10-07T14:15:02Z

Really enjoyed it! Hopem covered a lot of what I wanted to comment about. Audio cues feel especially important. The range you can generate flooring also feels a bit generous. Often I was able to just spin around generating flooring out and keep myself pretty safe. Would dig seeing this polished up more with an online leaderboard!

Hazel & Hector by cassowary 2023-10-03T17:31:25Z

Really lovely little puzzle game with very calming music!

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-05T17:09:13Z

Fun and challenging! With some practice you can probably build up momentum and skip large portions, which is how I assume the sub 3 min times were done, but couldn't quite get a grasp on controls enough.

cyber_serpent by picross 2023-10-06T16:28:01Z

Lots of fun. The only thing that bothered me was the delay in horizontal beams dissipating after you killed the enemy that shoots them. Great job!

Profound Tribulations Arise from the Pursuit of a Decadent Fool by Cam Moore 2023-10-03T16:25:40Z

I found it wild to have singing the whole way through the level!

Rusty Barrel by KenForest 2023-10-03T20:00:06Z

Looks great and I agree with Drunk Wizard, the bit with the whales, jellyfish over what looked like just open ocean made me very tense. Great job.

EVENT HORIZON by JakubBala 2023-10-07T11:14:53Z

202310121030_912x351.png

Echoing other people's comments - dig the space bending visuals and took me a few attempts to realize how the game worked. Only other thoughts were it seemed like hitting asteroids randomized your direction which feels a bit harsh on top of the hit to momentum, but there might be something to it that I didn't grasp. Good stuff!

Agent Cat - Mewssion Fridge by Fiordarancio 2023-10-03T16:10:52Z

Boxes reducing anxiety is cute! My best time was 15.61 seconds when just making a run straight for the fridge.

invenStory by Roroto Sic 2023-10-19T14:56:10Z

Took a second to understand what's going on but after that it was pretty understandable what was expected for things like the shop. Meshes with the theme that your little guy is just going to wander on forward and it's up to you to try and arrange things in the inventory as he goes. Neat idea!

Space Corridor by Hora-Timer 2023-10-04T10:25:11Z

Unfortunately I had this weird offset for cursor and aiming which made it hard to play.

Ride to Clown School by Neandi 2023-10-07T14:32:00Z

A honking good time!

Snowlord by minjutin 2023-10-03T15:30:46Z

The theme is really cute! I must admit I struggled a bit with grasping the numbers too but that might just be my brain being slow.

Pazuru Packing Sushi by Gabreu 2023-10-07T11:01:14Z

Relaxing, cute puzzle game! It's funny to imagine whoever's putting these boxes together just constantly throwing sushi in the trash when they don't get it perfectly fitting.

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-03T14:20:46Z

Thank you for the comments! There's a little surprise if you reach a certain score.

@baturinsky: That's an interesting idea! Tripping up enemies or something could be funny.

@pickydogfish: Definitely shallow, I was probably a little overly cautious in scope. Some people have had interesting suggestions to add some more depth like graze mechanic, more pickups and so on. I think next time I'll try and aim at something a bit more mechanically complex for sure.

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-05T09:31:39Z

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-07T10:44:12Z

@joao-pedro-salim @matthew-bond @jakubbala @picross Thank you very much! I've been using SDL2 quite some time but recently made some effort into writing reusable convenience around it for things like animations, caching sounds, LOVE-like canvases, etc, etc. I find it really helps my momentum being able to very quickly start on an idea!

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-08T11:23:34Z

@joror Thank you!

@lincolnsalles You didn't miss anything, it's just about seeing how long you can dodge or how high you can score. There's a little bonus for reaching a certain score. Admittedly very simple!

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-13T09:37:43Z

@haotian-chen @zaykin-timofey Thank you!

@sentmoraap Haha, that's very true. Nim is amazing, highly recommend it!

@pomo Congrats on the gold cursor!

@ategon Exciting! Should be fine to use the music, I believe.

Very neat, especially the music and mood!

Sprinttech by JanOG 2023-10-03T17:05:10Z

This type of game is 100% my thing and had fun playing through. With more time I could see some really interesting mixes of levels with decisions on what platforms to create or skip, I hope it gets developed further. My one criticism would be that for this type of game I feel it's important not to interrupt the player once they get into the groove, so the slow fade out, warning on respawn and only accepting inputs after the warning (so I can't hold forward and sprint and start moving immediately once the warning is gone) add some unnecessary friction. A quick reset would help too! But I had fun - great job!

202310113155_505x101.png

Had fun and really liked the sound effects. Trying to kill enemies stacked on top of the holes to try and keep as much space available as possible seems to be the tactic!

LD55 — Summoning

Euclid's Elementals by avareii 2024-04-17T18:57:19Z

I really dig the concept but it's funny how quick I was overwhelmed with trying to figure out shapes while avoiding enemies. Also have a soft spot for LÖVE games!

Fall of the Ritual by davidkbd 2024-04-22T09:54:01Z

Great job, had fun! Although I ran into a few issues: while I had controller plugged in the arrow key inputs would stall and stop/start, perhaps a deadzone issue? Unplugging the controller fixed it. Also the X axis on analog stick input was inverted for me.

Crimes Against Carrots by NonDev 2024-04-17T10:20:58Z

Thank you for the kind comments.

@marin-davys: Agreed, I was really rushing for sounds at the end and was worried having sirens over and over might be annoying but warning on cars being about to return is big thing I'd want to polish more for both visuals and audio. I've been slacking on rating and feedback so far, so probably not much visibility yet!

Crimes Against Carrots by NonDev 2024-04-17T19:57:26Z

Thanks again for the kind comments.

@dagunov: There is indeed controls rebinding in the settings! I definitely prefer to play on controller for it.

Crimes Against Carrots by NonDev 2024-04-22T09:27:14Z

Thank you again for the comments! (I really need to make time to do some feedback and rating for others too.)

@mistiemaedae: I'll look into that rebinding cancel/dash issue.

@random-storykeeper: Are you running an antivirus by any chance? I've heard some people have had issues with false positives with executables out of the Nim compiler.

@courtneylapin: It's funny you mention, landing heavy attacks in the air does give some bonus score but bonuses in general could've done with more explicit feedback for players. I think my best score is in the 8k range. Glad you had fun!

Crimes Against Carrots by NonDev 2024-04-23T12:11:13Z

@mistiemaedae: Fixed that rebinding issue now, for some sleep deprived reason I had some commented out!

@ryusui: Thank you! I like that idea. In general I think the game could do with more layers to difficulty, like different enemies appearing at higher wanted levels, more cop vehicles, etc. Maybe a post-jam update would be fun to flesh things out more.

Crimes Against Carrots by NonDev 2024-05-03T09:15:56Z

Thank you so much for the kind comments and ratings! I really appreciate them.

@bbaf: Oh snap, I didn't think about that but that does sound fun being able to punch a friend around and compete on score! Now I want to do an update adding that!

Summonster by Poutine Studio 2024-04-17T19:11:59Z

Unfortunately I can't seem to launch the Windows executable, I get a window with the Unity logo and an error symbol before it just closes. (Feel free to reply at me if you want me to try a different build!)

Feel Good by Polina Vlasova 2024-04-17T19:08:34Z

Not what I was expecting, especially the sudden gameplay with the music! Others have mentioned the pretty glacial dialog (seemingly without any way to skip?) but a very interesting submission.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Autumn Picnic by Gao Ming 2024-10-12T11:28:03Z

I love every bit of this. Really good job.

Apparatus by evindor 2024-10-21T18:04:48Z

a_winner.png

I had a real blast with this, so kept playing until I could beat it without using the mouse button abilities at all. It took me a while to realize that X Y meant those tiles used two stacks of mana up but it was fun to figure out how to balance heat and mana. I could definitely see it grow out to something with more complex tiles, maybe logic or conditionals.

Only real criticism is performance really hurt after a while (summoning 80 little guys at a time I'm sure doesn't help), but can't fault that too much in the timeframe. Really good job!

Pom Planet by LittleBlackDog 2024-10-21T17:14:23Z

Very cute and polished! I really dug the little touches like the different creatures having different movements. Puzzle progression felt very smooth and clear what was expected. Really nice in the time.

Souls of the Lost and Insignificant by NonDev 2024-10-09T09:06:02Z

Thank you for the kind comments, they're really appreciated!

@tomssuli: Hah, seems like a few people are puzzled by the blue one. I thought the brimstone symbol was a bit but it removes enemies if you sacrifice enough souls. Sorry about the sprite bug, will investigate! [Edit: I was a dummy, should be fixed now.]

@wegpast: Will have to check yours out (I've amassed a big list to get through!) but yeah, I wonder if next time I should go in without checking out the final round themes. I tend to get at least a few ideas I like and are excited for, then it's a bit distracting and frustrating if those aren't picked. Good job on the title unlocks!

Souls of the Lost and Insignificant by NonDev 2024-10-13T12:16:43Z

@bigstrongddoge: I think that's the most titles I've seen someone get!

@fenderbate @mal: Thank you!

Souls of the Lost and Insignificant by NonDev 2024-10-21T17:03:48Z

@big-cyckos: Thank you! Yeah, it would've been clearer to have a message pop up telling you what occurred. Funny enough I have things for settings hooked up I just ran out of time exposing the UI and dealing with how to save and load them for the Emscripten version.

@andriana-mantidfly @pengkaiou: Thank you. I'm glad you like the art, even if it ended up mostly being static!

Souls of the Lost and Insignificant by NonDev 2024-10-25T09:24:16Z

@tetrapteryx @korteh @agent-maxwell: Thank you all so much for the kind words.

@pauln: Thank you! I absolutely need to do more learning on sound and music in prep for next time, and set aside some dedicated time to work on those. Sound effects especially are usually last minute rush for me.

Souls of the Lost and Insignificant by NonDev 2024-10-25T12:51:47Z

@plasmak: Thank you! That's very fair, I wanted to be a bit mysterious but in hindsight it's a bit annoying in the context of a jam where you want to be able to hop in and understand things.

Bakudan Baku-tan by TwinkleSoft 2024-10-25T18:47:39Z

Great music, sound effects and art. Got hard quick! A really great job in the timeframe, especially the music.

Whiny Preachers by tweepaduck 2024-10-25T17:56:46Z

For your first time making something from scratch and that being in a jam, good job!

LD57 — Depths

Ridge Heart by firellon 2025-04-19T08:51:00Z

I found this really quite compelling. Smallest of gripes would be that the scrolling from click-dragging doesn't map one-to-one with mouse movement, so it feels a bit sluggish. But otherwise great stuff!

Abyss Vaulter by sinclairstrange 2025-04-19T09:31:09Z

Dang, this was just amazing. I must admit I found it a bit easy once you get the ammo replenishment on kills, since it can let you keep your preferred weapon. As others have mentioned, each area does feel a tad too many levels before things change up but it's kinda rare to complain about *too* many levels in a jam!

So much polish, really great job.

anomalous source by GuitarBro 2025-04-23T11:21:02Z

Had a blast. It was *quite* dark but never frustratingly so and the audio was just perfect. Great stuff.

What Lurks Below by dxk2294 2025-04-09T18:13:18Z

Really enjoyed this and was surprised how much the mechanics grew. The tooltips cracking open the lore was great. Only small thought is maybe could've done with being able to click-drag to also pan up and down, since the scroll was a little slow. Had a lot of fun, great stuff.

Delta Breach by NonDev 2025-04-09T10:55:50Z

Thank you for the kind comments! The "what am I doing?" is intentional and hopefully that came across and wasn't too frustrating.

@chybby: Yeah, unfortunately I didn't manage to get in a victory or wrap up in satisfying way. I originally wanted to have story records unlock based on the number of signals you relayed.

@jcourt: To not give too much away, the bottom left and window cracking are connected.

Delta Breach by NonDev 2025-04-15T10:07:51Z

Thank you everyone again for the kind comments.

@chuckeles: That's fair.

@pixelstain: I'm really happy to hear that and definitely agree. It could have really done with some additional mechanics being layered in as you progressed so there was more to figure out and manage.

@mattpopa: Thank you, that means a lot. Agree with your thoughts, ending up with not having a more clear success on relaying signals was a miss especially.

@shadyshade, @eugenik: Thank you!

@momotiktik: Thank you! It always surprises me how the feel comes together once sounds start getting added.

Delta Breach by NonDev 2025-04-23T10:06:47Z

@sinclairstrange: Thank you so much!

Breachy Sub by UpsettiGames 2025-04-19T08:43:47Z

LD58 — Collector

1100 Dots by thingus 2025-10-09T15:12:23Z

What a neat little idea, short and sweet! It would be fun to see this grow out into multiple stages with different challenges with different attractors/repellers, maybe needing to combine colors, etc. Nicely done!

City Bike by gonutz 2025-10-10T09:27:12Z

Dang I must be getting old, I barely made it to 0.7 miles before I got got. The introduction is such a simple nice touch that conveys what's going on. Don't spot many submissions using Go and I know your pain about AV false positives, Nim also has that problem and it's a pain to chase up AV vendors to get things unflagged.

Nice stuff!

Do Not The Mushroom! by Rionisse 2025-10-08T11:21:06Z

Very fancy environment and was fun just wandering around gobbling everything up to see what effects you got stacked up. In return it was gobbling up my CPU and GPU!

Clam Jam by Fis 2025-10-08T11:40:20Z

Lovely little game, very cute. Never have I waddled so stylishly with a fancy shell on my head before!

Shape Collector by rhewid 2025-10-10T14:13:30Z

Fun little game! The upgrades with trade offs are interesting. Had a dry streak of not getting any damage upgrades which made me need to mash my poor mouse!

Grinder^2 Tower by lazarche 2025-10-09T15:04:58Z

Survived a little over 16 mins. Had fun! The idea that you need to manually collect EXP orbs is a neat one and introduces some interesting choices of damage vs convenience with the multiple grab upgrades. I need to give it another couple of goes and see if it's possible to just min max the starting rifle. Great stuff.

Plant Pack by filgreen3 2025-10-10T10:12:11Z

I really, really dug the art style and overall feel. Having the inventory open when you interact with a pot would've gone a long way to avoiding some initial confusion and repetitiveness when you've got multiple pots to manage. And _boy_ does everyone really knock on that door!

Lil'Jones 2: The Collector's Tomb by SolidHinken 2025-10-11T11:36:24Z

I think most of the critique I have others have posted. Having an overall driving goal to get towards (like $X in a single run) to both give the player something to focus progress towards as well as introducing a fail state, would go a long way. If you had obstacles to avoid it would spice the gameplay up a little more as well as give you more mechanisms to play with. Such as gaps you could avoid by keeping jumping shoes in your bag - you're introducing choices on min/maxing earnings per day with countering obstacles.

Where's my money, Gnomski?!? by CaptainCorgistan 2025-10-10T11:06:03Z

So many gnomes, holy cow! I was a bit overwhelmed with just how many were scampering around the map but I had a blast tracking the pesky little debtors down. The items you can hold to scare/attract is a cool idea. Very neat idea, looks great and was well done!

kissy gnomes.png

Now what were _these_ gnomes up to?

Super Sucker by leorean 2025-10-11T11:52:28Z

Really amazing entry and so much of it! Adored the art, great sound and was surprised with the puzzle mechanics to reach upgrades. Will need to come back to play some more. Here's to sucking!

Raccoon Rumpus! by b0guslaw 2025-10-08T10:45:55Z

Had a blast playing! I agree that remembering which trash cans you've looted on such a big level became kind of hard, since naturally there's only so many identifiable landmarks you can get done in time. Maybe just having the trash can tipped over would've been a quick solution that wouldn't require extra art.

I dug the night time atmosphere and the dogs. This neighborhood sure loves their dogs. Ran well, had fun, got lucky and didn't get swallowed up by the void, great stuff!

Metal Undergrowth by KenForest 2025-10-13T11:36:59Z

I need to come back to this and play more but really enjoyed this! Such a neat idea and absolutely loved the visuals and overall style. The way the bugs are made up out of objects is a fun idea. Great job!

They tried to stop me, but they couldn't. Great game, my be my favorite played so far in the jam. Being able to smack other machines while you control one to have some passive attempt at income is a neat idea. Great stuff.

Call Hector by Pikario 2025-10-10T09:48:02Z

I had a ton of fun with this. Plenty of puzzle variety and enough hints dotted about to avoid getting stuck too long. The center piece did feel like a step up compared to the others though. Really lovely little game, great job! (Poor Hector, will he ever get any peace from these darn jam callers?!)

Gobblin' Günther by Crygos 2025-10-09T14:33:28Z

I got my magic sword and goodies only to spill them all over the place very dramatically right before the end. I ended up just letting things clatter about in my backpack rather than trying to combine them with how hectic it is. Very cute game!

Butterfly Gathering by UniOwl 2025-10-10T10:01:14Z

Very relaxing and there's something that scratchers the collecting itch when you see fancy holographic butterflies. The world record for sizes was a very neat extra touch! I must admit that the money does seem very very generous.

Butterfly Gathering by UniOwl 2025-10-10T11:18:43Z

@pacelin: I think a progression or unlockables system would be interesting way of making money useful. Depending on which manner of play you want to lean into. For relaxing/calm gameplay maybe that's just enabling rarer butterfly spawns through fancier flowers of different tiers, making them easier to catch and so forth. I forgot to mention, it would be very nice to see percentage collected of each butterfly type without needing to open the book!

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-06T22:11:56Z

Thank you for the kind words already!

@b0guslaw: I meant to add the ability to skip that transition but forgot in time!

@maxiney: You need to loosen teeth enough that they bleed before pulling. Might not be obvious if your first donors don't have any loose teeth already, for sure.

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-07T11:21:32Z

Thank you again!

@lean: All great points! Adding tooltips for the tools would've probably helped a lot. There's no difficulty ramp besides rarer teeth being rarer or requiring specific houses. No, teeth don't count as collected until you see the message appear (mildly intentional so as to add some more time pressure). I'm surprised when you mention performance, I try my best to make sure my games are lightweight (the Windows build for me is <2% CPU and <5% GPU), were you playing in a browser? I know MacOS has some settings that can cap the web build to 30 FPS, maybe it was something like that?

Looking forward to rating other people's games, feeling spoiled from getting so many so soon!

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-08T18:58:18Z

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-09T13:31:54Z

@ira-baciu: Thank you! It's the first game I've done my own music for so that's really nice to hear.

@ranejeb: Very understandable and hopefully has spurred everyone to look after their teeth!

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-09T15:18:38Z

@pikario: Yeah, vampires (and the other rare spawns) are pretty rare and the back button on the town was thrown in at the last moment without truly realizing it was going to nuke progress, sorry! But I'm glad you enjoyed the mood.

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-10T09:08:16Z

@tomtomgome @cahard: Thank you for the kind words!

@gonutz: That's awesome! Three of the rarest teeth come from specific traits that you can spot because they'll have unique houses, while the other one is random in normal mouths. If you keep refreshing the town you should eventually see the unique houses.

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-10T18:19:12Z

@captaincorgistan: Great to hear you liked it! I've been jotting down ideas for additional mechanics to flesh things out (especially the town), but who knows! I'll have to see how I feel once the jam is over.

The Tooth Fae by NonDev 2025-10-12T08:41:07Z

Pigeon Post Office by Pigeonescu 2025-10-09T15:28:29Z

I was kinda surprised to find out I had to fly along the roads instead of over everything. Maybe that's some sort of anti-competitive legislation against the PPO! But cute pigeon business!

Wasteland Workshop by Ulziton 2025-10-08T10:34:23Z

Awesome end result and so much art! You get into a really comfy rhythm with these sorts of job simulators with different tools and it was fun to figure out what to do with each item (I kept dunking dirty shirts in water thinking I needed to clean them too).

I think I got a bit unlucky with my playthrough, had bartering offer just as day seemed to tick over and a few cases I couldn't right click to repair an item for some reason. The UI hitboxes also were a bit off for ultrawide, but I can't really fault the game for dealing with less common displays.

Great job!

The Honorable Hunt of Sir Frogbert the Bold by DazyLude 2025-10-08T13:59:56Z

I can't believe I got tutorialized by _the_ Sir Badly Cropped Capybara the Watermarked the Second. Had fun! I was panicking as Frogbert casually threw away the expensive shield because I picked up garbage. Nice work!

Enter the Cardgeon by Placeholders 2025-10-13T11:41:10Z

Had a lot of fun with this. I might be biased because I've had a similar idea floating around in my head for a long while. Very polished, everything looks great. As others have mentioned, more enemy variety would've been great. I feel maybe a random modifier being thrown on top of cards or some other sort of synergy would've gone a long way to reducing the feel of repetitiveness.

Really fun idea, hope you develop it out further!

Amazing game, I'm really surprised with how little attention this has got. Had an absolute blast and the jump scares really got me good a few times. Looks great, plays well, puzzles were enough to not get frustrated. My only small criticisms would be: the video filter is a bit harsh and unnecessary in my opinion, and the introduction's dialogue is a tad long. (The slightly wonky English wasn't enough to distract at all in my opinion.)

Really really amazing job. Well done.

Real tough to start with but had a blast trying to get 3 stars. Very fun art and music. Lovely job!

Bug Driver 3D by Reaktori 2025-10-11T11:31:52Z

A little hard to control but such a fun little idea. Really nice introduction and so many voice lines! And I can't help but love the dithering. Good stuff!

$ECURITY CHECK by babyfoodstudios 2025-10-08T11:00:24Z

Fun style and groovy music. Having to commit when you place things into your box is interesting and mildly stressful! I think highlighting which squares in the grid the object is going to get placed into would've been a small QOL that helped, since it's a bit annoying at first to manage that while under time pressure from items going by - but that's pretty minor.

Team did a great job!

COLLECOON by HANASAKI 2025-10-09T18:36:12Z

Really cute art and fancy music! Wearing some of the stuff you grab is an adorable touch.

Aw, the rocket didn't start, I hope the little robot does okay. Really nice atmosphere!

Very neat intro. Who knew figures could break up a marriage so quickly?

Double whammy of first game and first jam! You did a great job! Interesting direction with the controls using wheel up and down for thrust level. Hope you had fun and are going to take part again!

RESPECT by LoHii 2026-04-26T14:04:44Z

Speed running mourning! It's pretty amazing you got replay ghosts from other players in and definitely added a lot. The roll after jumping took me a while to figure out, I thought my guy was just _really_ bad a jumping.

Neither link is working unfortunately.

Artificial Invaders by slay a stone 2026-04-26T12:50:36Z

After the tutorial I was not expecting a death match-style competition against the AI! I agree with previous comments that having the shape display on the UI instead of needing to stay close to the big display would've been a bit less overwhelming. Otherwise interesting stuff!

The Last Signal by DarthWaxus 2026-04-22T17:01:06Z

Reminds me a little bit of the motorcycle section/minigame of FF7! I must admit I was a little baffled at the inverted attack buttons, but a neat speedy little experience!

WiFi Trouble by rangoiv 2026-04-26T18:02:34Z

Really neat puzzles, I was surprised how much they made me think for such a pretty simple concept. Everything was clear and easy to grasp. The only hiccup I ran into was that clicking on reset sometimes wouldn't fully reset a level, the source router would be stuck on zero range. I would have to click and hold to kinda finesse the reset.

Fun stuff, good job!

Uplink by thormoth 2026-04-26T13:50:07Z

Fun little game! The enemy ships sure are a crack shot, but once I had a little bit of regen they were very manageable. I think ultrawide display messed with the HUD, because I couldn't see the satellite health/signal strength. I do wish there was a bit more variety or more difficulty ramping. It felt pretty rare that I got anything but one enemy ship that fired, the rest were just signal jammers.

Still, I had fun and it felt good. Good job!

Taos Research Project by YogurtTheHorse 2026-04-23T10:41:19Z

I love the style and overall vibe, it's right up my ally. Just enough for you get an idea in your head of what's going wrong. I ended up mostly ignoring the redirecting antennae and just used anomaly chaining for most scans, but they were neat when I did try them.

Really great entry.

Smoke Show by Crygos 2026-04-26T12:40:20Z

It took me a while to get what was going on and not have my brain frazzled, but once I got it it was very compelling! Really neat idea for the theme. I'm not great at rhythm style games, but bumbled my way through. Such a nice job!

We're Breaking Up by RobotChimp 2026-04-22T17:10:09Z

Had a blast. Never have I wanted to throw a phone out of a moving car so much. I really liked the signal strength dropping characters and making it even harder to understand what was going on - I mostly ended up just trying to see how far I could get without hitting anything.

Really great submission!

Feelin' Crabby by Blues 2026-05-01T10:56:31Z

Why won't mister diver accept by bubbly wisdom?! Very cute little game. Maybe a hint to which paths lead to which mini-games (or even mood bonuses?), as I ended up mostly getting socialize. Nice submission!

CXNTACT by NonDev 2026-04-21T18:56:52Z

Extra thank you for such kind words! Yeah, in hindsight I should've bumped the character speed up a touch. One of those "I got used to it and didn't go back to change it" things.

@theparticularpixel: The keyboard sounds are actually from my keyboard. They're holy panda switches, in case you want your own set!

@maksim-terskov: I'm glad you enjoyed the terminal! Funny enough, it was the easiest thing to get in and expand on.

@lohii: The end was unfortunately rather rushed compared to everything else, sorry for it feeling so abrupt.

@blake-mullin: I really enjoyed Signalis, there was probably some influence rattling around in my head!

@ingi: Yeah, there's just the one ending. I'm really glad it grabbed you enough to play through despite it not being your usual thing.

Thank you all again!

CXNTACT by NonDev 2026-04-21T19:05:25Z

@gabrijel: Thank you! There actually is some ambient music but it's mostly subtle and tonal I guess? I had to resort to Audacity to hack something together on the last day instead of using a DAW. Maybe could've done with a bit more to it.

CXNTACT by NonDev 2026-04-23T10:26:59Z

@pawel-waligora: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere! I'm surprised to hear about your issue though, I'm not sure what could be causing that but I think I've heard Itch.io web embeds can be a bit twitchy with Firefox in general. Sorry if it hampered your experience!

@dazylude: Thank you!

CXNTACT by NonDev 2026-04-23T20:34:28Z

Thank you again for the kind comments!

@indiepanda: I always seem to neglect the cover and it be a rush right at the end.

@blues: It's funny how popular the terminal is, compared to how quick it was to put that together!

@recursor: Have you had other troubles with web embeds in Firefox? @pawel-waligora mentioned something similar. Sorry if it spoiled the ending!

@mezaka: ~~Oh shoot. I actually do try to draw the correct keycode tied to the scancode to avoid that issue but there must be a problem with it. I'll look into that, thanks.~~ Edit: I think I misunderstood, you mean the interact is correctly displayed as "Y" in game right? It should be the key besides left shift. That's "Z" for regular QWERTY, so I just assumed that when I wrote the controls notes. Sorry if that added any confusion. I think I'll just remove the controls info, since they're all prompted in game.

@janku: Thanks!

CXNTACT by NonDev 2026-04-23T21:13:07Z

@aweskybear: Thank you! There was a lot more I wanted to do, but that's how it always goes I guess!

@nabil-shelim: Thank you!

@tygrak: I'm glad you enjoyed it and the keyboard sounds. They're holy panda switches if you're interested in getting your own!

@asieke: Thank you for the kind words! I do get mildly worried that having to wander around and figure things out will turn people off in a jam, since there's pressure to rate something and move on.

@alpacalypse @marks: Thank you!

@aniretti: Thank you for the kind words! !>Did you check the pamphlets near the terminal for the door control command, along with using the correct door ID?

@aniretti: !>It's the recreation room that's sealed, that's ID #4.

Pulse Advance by DazyLude 2026-04-29T14:21:56Z

Oh no, the bunnies! Might be one of my favorite submissions, I had a blast playing this. I think it could definitely be expanded out into some sort of roguelite and be very compelling. My only real critiques would be obvious things (tooltips, more variety, shortcuts to switch between speeds) and, unless I was super unlucky, it seems like you can't get certain mirrored versions of pieces. Like the elbow routes only go clockwise instead of anti-clockwise, so anytime I wanted to bend down-then-right, I had to sacrifice 50% of the energy and use one of the intersections.

Really great stuff!

HELLO! I AM HERE! by Remote_ms 2026-04-22T16:24:40Z

~~I'm running into an issue where the progress bar gets 90% full and then gets stuck. Tried on both Chromium and Firefox, both LD and Itch.io embeds. Shame because the character looks cute!~~

Edit: I tried a few more times and it suddenly worked! Maybe a network issue on my end. Very short and I found the angle of the fans made it quite hard to see when the gaps would appear. I did like the pose the character did when you poke the buttons though!

Angler by Athaeryn 2026-04-22T16:54:46Z

For science! I really dug the atmosphere and tone, and I was excited to check this one out, but I do agree with previous comments that it feels egregious to have 5+ minutes of holding space bar for something to happen.

LD59 SIGNAL STRIKE by GARYglhf 2026-04-24T18:33:43Z

Oh wow, I've not thought about Soviet Strike in a long time. I think some more feedback on taking damage and making enemy projectiles a bit easier to see would help, like others have mentioned.

The Dark Spots in Space by babyfoodstudios 2026-04-23T11:14:49Z

I wasn't expecting to get as engrossed as I did! I did get stumped in a few places, but not enough to get super frustrated. The only minor issues I ran into were how searching re-ordered the list, I think having them fixed order by date might've been something useful. And one of the long transmissions went out of the text container.

I had lots of fun piecing the story together, great job.

Kantarelli by ingi 2026-04-26T17:54:28Z

Mushroom Pikmin! Really lovely art and overall atmosphere. Was easy to pick up what was going on and what did what from the visual feedback. Cute little game, good job!

Office Space by KZw 2026-04-21T18:13:05Z

I like the layering of different things to pay attention to and that modify the signal you need to send. I'm pretty bad at these types of games but I had fun figuring things out. I dig the noisy/grungy art, meshes with the overall ambiguous nature of the game. Glad you took part, keep it up!

Signal Keeper by IndiePanda 2026-05-01T10:50:42Z

Despite the limitations (heaven knows I over-scoped this LD too), there was definitely the atmosphere of lonely melancholy of this little robot fella going about his daily routine to maintain a signal. Keep it up!

GIMME TV by pocketdog 2026-04-21T18:30:05Z

Lots of fun! I don't know why the aliens hate my football so. The art and use of the theme were real neat. Personally, I'm not so much a fan of the shooter style revolving weapon drops, but that's a me thing. Having some reason to pick them up might've helped. Great entry. [Chill]

Ping to Survive by Mekuire 2026-04-24T18:30:24Z

Simple but a neat little idea! Having different features unlock as time went on helped give it a little depth.

Air Signal by MicleFirst 2026-04-26T12:46:12Z

Congratulations on your first game! The feel with the artwork is really impressive in the time-frame, everything meshes well. Be sure to keep it up!

Radio Head by Maksim Terskov 2026-04-26T13:56:35Z

I really love the mix of conveyor-belt Tetris, juggling different tapes and trying to keep ratings up. Apparently I won't make it since I kept getting fired. Visuals were great, although the effect made it a bit hard to make out the text for cassettes (but maybe that's my lousy eyes).

Really great stuff, deserves more ratings!

Lost Signal: Network Warfare by Gahlammon 2026-04-29T13:55:03Z

Works for me on Chromium. Very interesting idea requiring the signal to activate weapons! Gunplay and controls felt good considering the timeline. It would be interesting the see it fleshed out further. Good job!
