Wow! Very interesting and challenging!
Has a nice pace and addicting gameplay, i like it!
I had fun with the game, and some levels did get me in a "flow" state to jump in the right place. However, it doesn't really use some of the abilities the player has, like the "time slow" didn't seem to have a reason to be used. Another thing is that there is never really a reason not to sprint, so it would be nice if either you sprint the entire time, or hold Shift to slow down instead. The controls were responsive enough and had good air control, which is necessary to make precise jumps. The shot that creates platforms should maybe be timed so the platforms don't last forever, so the player has to shoot at the right time. But, I did like that later some of the platforms would block the player if they were activated, so that's a nice touch to the level design there.
great atmosphere with the sound design, nice mechanics!
This game is fantastic! I got into a flow state at certain points and the game felt rather fun! Though, at some points I felt too light and or too fast, missing platforms in the process. Other than that, I think this game could become a full release with a few adjustments!
A well polished entry, very enjoyable, well done.
the game seems fun i love parkour games , i tried my best but it's unplayable for me . There is a huge performance problem , the game runs at 20 fps .
I thought the controls felt janky at first but I was surprisingly able to get through most levels just fine (except for the last level which took a lot of tries), and it never felt unfair or wrong, so good job on that. I also really liked the UI style on the first screen. Overall a nice entry!
Great in terms of parkour and in game instruction for how to wall run (although I tended to un-sprint right before I hit them...). Very engaging with pace and can find a flow state. Nice job!
Really cool concept! I sucked at it xD the idea of shooting platforms to make them appear was very unique! I could see it being addictive trying to get batter at running the levels. Great job! :)
I Like the game a lot. Controls and movement are really smooth for the most part. Did see a couple of times the double jump seemed to be not that responsive and a bit delayed. Other than that the game felt smooth. It played well, it looked good and it was challenging.
Awesome job
Such a nice game-play flow, pacing is really great and the game is smooth. I really dig the aesthetics a lot, everything fit together so well. I can easily imagine this being a full-blown small project, so I hope you'll continue it a bit~ Great job with it!
Love the game, gameplay felt really nice! Like others already mentioned I never really used the time slow feature and the double jump was clunky a few times. But overall very nice game!
This type of game is 100% my thing and had fun playing through. With more time I could see some really interesting mixes of levels with decisions on what platforms to create or skip, I hope it gets developed further. My one criticism would be that for this type of game I feel it's important not to interrupt the player once they get into the groove, so the slow fade out, warning on respawn and only accepting inputs after the warning (so I can't hold forward and sprint and start moving immediately once the warning is gone) add some unnecessary friction. A quick reset would help too! But I had fun - great job!
The game was fun, I enjoyed the sound it got my blood pumping. Movement was mostly smooth although I seemed to have trouble triggering the wallrun some times. Levels overall were great, I had trouble in one of the earlier levels with the pipes and there was this jump in the very last level that took me more tries than I would like to admit. Overall really enjoyable you did a great job with this one!
I like the visual, it looks spectacular) The game is interesting and exciting - it was a little difficult for me, thank you for the work done!
Really fun game, and a genre you don't see too often either! I loved planning my course through the levels and getting the timing just right felt super rewarding!
Really cool entry! First parkour game I've seen in a jam. My only complaint was that I wish it was faster to restart levels, took a while to die and restart and it slowed down the pacing for me on the harder levels.
Here's some constructive feedback, don't take it as an insult. Your game is great, well made and deserves honest feedback. I liked playing it, but some parts could use some more play testing to make it more fun and less frustrating.
First few levels went quick. I hated the red wall that's in my arse all the time.
Some levels had too close objects, or they didn't seem to take into account the sprint speed, so I had to slow down a bit sometimes.
The warning at start when you fail is frustrating, it's taunting the player. It's not very fun. I would leave it out after first time seeing it per level or something. I did get the point, why do I have to see it again? Also it stops me from moving right from the start, it stops the gameplay that is fun. Please leave it out.
sometimes the sprint doesn't register right from the start. you have to press it again after the warning dialog goes away.
some levels don't really flow that well. It would work lot better when you could just keep the momentum going, but sometimes you have to stop, because you need to put down blocks or the next platform is too close when you sprint jump with double jump.
got to the level here it takes 90 degree turn to the right and couldn't get further sadly. got frustrated by the constant warning on my face. sorry.
There's no level counter, maybe add that too. And a option to stop the game and return to it later on that same level. maybe add a option in the main menu to choose level from the unlocked ones.
good parts: nice music, it didn't cut off between every level, but went on. good. Graphics lowpoly hands were nice. Levels were clear and simple to see and understand quickly in a fast paced gameplay. Maybe add a storyline too to keep players more interested?
I would like to see more how this evolves if you keep developing it, it has potential!
It's refreshing to come across a game developed in Unreal Engine for the jam. The initial levels were enjoyable, but I noticed that as the game progressed, the focus on parkour seemed to diminish. Specifically, the level with the yellow half-disc at the beginning proved to be quite frustrating. After wall sliding, you're required to execute a precise hop onto closely spaced boxes, which is made even more challenging by laser box pursuing you from behind. This game definitely has potential, and it could benefit from more responsive and tighter movements, currently the jump feels too floaty.
I liked that the first few levels introduce you to the game. I was a bit worried at the beginning as I didn't notice the first plate with the wasd sign
I believe that the sprint should pretty much be always on and eventually you should be able to disable it with shift, so the way around from how it currently works.
Please remove the red warning sign when you restart the level. It really gets in the way of your play session. It kind of breaks the pace of the game.
Overall a solid entry. Nice work!
For my taste, your entry has one of the coolest gameplay cycles from all the games I've played so far from this jam! Reminded me of Ghostrunner, which I very like)
Some ideas, that I've thought of while playing: 1. Level design sometimes has some dissonance with main character speed and idea of the game (game asks you to go fast, but level design wants you to slow down sometimes - which breaks the inertion and sometimes causes you to fall somewhere exactly between platforms). Though, at times when leveldesign and game idea work together, this gameplay cycle really shines) 2. It would be cool if character could wallrun off the created platforms!; 3. I found slowmo quite useless for my tasks, but an airdash would be highly anticipated; 4. It would be great to have more responsiveness from the game - faster shoot animation (and maybe, less cooldown between them); an ability to move right when you spawn (instead of needing to wait 2-3 second when the red sign goes off)
Regardless of that, a really great entry! I would gladly buy an full version for a game like this, in case you decide to continue development of this project :)
I really enjoyed the game; it's quite simple but has its unique twist. The gameplay is quite original, in my opinion. Keep it up. I won't mention all the shortcomings and bugs in the game as they have been described above
