Really fun idea! I felt an emotional connection to not dying so I will not leave a baby devil behind alone in the world.

really enjoyed the game, it had a dose of nostalgia for me since I played a lot of ace speeder when I was a kid.
It took me a bit to get used to drawing the symbols but I really enjoyed the mechanic. Fun game!
Hi, fun game! I didn't realize I could pan the camera until I beat the game at the spawn point. Maybe increase difficulty a little so I need to take into account the rest of the screen.
I really enjoyed the mechanic, this was fun!
Really fun game, fusing runes to summon a fusion monster gave me a yu-gi-oh type of vibe.
This gives an entirely new meaning to deviled eggs. :)
Loved the idea of combining spells, reminded me of Magicka and loved the fact that by making your own spells you can play the game in a manner suited to your liking.
I would've preferred to have some sort of guide to know what the components do before playing the game but I guess there is also the aspect of discovering and figuring stuff out as you play the game. Still at least an in game tooltip or some vague hint on each components effects might've been a cool addition.
Overall, It was a fun experience to find out what the components did.
Loved the feel and atmosphere of the game.
Cool idea, summoning a demon from a vending machine. It took me a bit to understand the mechanic but it was really fun.
Thank you for all the feedback so far everyone @alxje, @westeaststudio, @suksu, @moonblast, @mortith, @semenov, @emaigualmc2-art, @pedsm, @zedgame, @magnat, @louiewu
We overestimated how much time we actually had to put our idea in practice. The art and sounds were the first we started to work on and then we realized we didn't have much time left to get basic controls and gameplay done.
Really appreciate all of your feedback and will definitely try to work on polishing it and actually finishing the original idea that we had.

We agree with all of your comments so far, the game is too easy and you don't really have an incentive to use the chain until the last part.
Initially we wanted to have a single jump with the possibility of upgrading the number of jumps but we noticed that using the chain too much might get annoying with the sound effect for some people.
Long story short we didn't plan our time very well and didn't do enough play testing to make it a proper challenge.
I wrote a blogpost going through our experience we had on this game jam if you are interested in giving it a read: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/ascension/devlog-kind-off
Overall, all the comments so far have had a lot of constructive criticism and we definitely want to continue working more on the game, adding all the mechanics that we originally wanted and adjust its mechanics properly.
Again, thanks for all the feedback and criticism!
Fun game, having all the upgrades at the end was a nice surprise, not sure I would've survived otherwise.
Well, that was an experience that's for sure. Nice work!
It has some super meat boy vibes, super butter boy maybe? Grate work!
Could've played more levels. Good Job! I really like the bunnies and the colors of the graphics, they have a dusty feeling.
Went to the left and fell of the map :). Nice music and atmosphere, good job!
Nice variety of creatures.
Good Job! I really like how the movement feels, it's quite satisfying.
Love the vibe of the game, it reminds me of some older miniclip games. Good job!
A bit frustrating, but fun. Cool game!
Interesting mechanic, but my hand hurts from all the clicking :). Good job!
Cool idea, but the red alien has a white square instead of a regular item.
Damn, I couldn't get past the boss. Fun experience :), good job!
Loved the music and the aesthetic of the game, felt a bit clunky with the controls but that might just be on me. Good Job!
Great art and sound, got stuck a bit with the movement for a moment but nice game overall. Good Job!
Really cool vibe, like a blast from the past.
Cute cozy game. Good Job!
Spent too much time playing this, as others pointed out it is very addicting. The bar above the player not going all the way to the right felt a bit weird, I was always thinking I have 1 more space in my inventory.
Brought some nostalgia with the bomberman vibes. Good job!
Damn this was impressive. The atmosphere sent chills down my spine. I might have a teeth phobia now. Amazing job!
Hi @damyyr , the map is much bigger then what you can see and play currently. There are blocking cats also at the left of the map.
We got hit by scope creep pretty hard and had to rush to make something playable for the Jam.
Originally we planned to have quests to deliver letters between npcs with some puzzle solving to find your way around the map and unlock a suburban area and a bigger city area all with their own obstacles and puzzles.
The current game was supposed to be just a mini game or a triggered event, and the current starting point was supposed to be more of a tutorial area for the final game.
We are thinking to continue working on the game to finalize the original idea.
Also the art is made by @pigeonic. I worked on the code and made the music. We tried to make everything from scratch just for the Jam.
really nice nostalgic feel. the embbeded html on the page doesn't seem to work though, I played it on itch.
Cute game, it can be a bit challenging, at least for me :)
Loved the music and the vibe. Good Job!
took a bit to adjust to the controls of the ship but it was nice. good job!
OMG, a gorilla fighting leopards?! this is bananas!!!
I approve this game :) My pigeon building her nest(that's a fry from mcdonalds): WhatsApp Image 2025-10-06 at 21.55.59.jpeg
I like the atmosphere, a bit of Indiana Jones vibe. Good Job!
interesting concept. good job!
