Cute and short
The controls are a bit weird but damn this game hits home with its dialog. Really captures some emotions.
Really cute, hopefully their world will be better eventually!
Very nice art and music! The dialog makes me want more of the story :) Will the protagonist have to switch to a piston filler and learn to write with their left hand? We need to know! ❤️
Such a stylish game!
Resolution could be more for Gameboy jam :) I wish u had more time to make it bigger. Still nice style and good job!
Love GB, love the music and the pixel-art. Beautiful little package. I wish there was a UFO-50 like package of these little GB experiences.
Didn't expect a cautionary tale. We don't have many more options left, if not going full France or Albania mode :(
Cute idea, nicely done for a few hours work, found the narrative compelling.
I like the graphics style! I hope the next day will turn out better!
This is such a lovely and incredibly nostalgic little package! I always have a huge soft spot for authentic Game Boy Studio entries (`.gbc` format), and it fits the "Old Tech" theme so perfectly.
I have to admit, I got a bit confused on Itch.io at first and couldn't figure out how to make the protagonist move (or what keys to press to progress past the title screen). But once I read the description, clicked the screen, and figured out the `WASD` + `J` setup, everything clicked! The pixel art style is super clean and authentic, and the chiptune background music creates a wonderfully cozy, slightly melancholic atmosphere. The dialogue and narrative layout feel very compelling for a project made in just a few hours.
Beautiful work! Thank you for the experience, and thanks a lot for stopping by my page and leaving a review for my retro-tech ASMR cleaning game, I really appreciate your support! Good luck with the ratings! 💾➿👾✨
Is there a good day ending in this?
@andriybyelikov not in our timeline unfortunatly
Cute game!
hey on itch.io it says it is for LD56, guess it is a typo since you entered a different game for LD56. Kind of dark moodwise. They audio is non configurable and destructively loud. The game fits the theme very well and makes a few statements. Good job
I like this kind of simpler entries bc usually I get to test jam games in the evening hours, when my attention/energies are not the highest. The mood and the story were really nice. Wish I could play this with real hardware.
Really nice mood, cute visuals and dialogs! I also appreciated the background subtly moving with the character, that's the kind of details I enjoy :)
this is a very authentic game boy experience. the music and the simple pixel art fit the old tech theme perfectly, and the melancholic mood of the story really draws you in.
the visuals are very basic, which is expected for the hardware, but the controls felt a bit confusing at first on the itch page. once i figured out the keys, it became a really cute and emotional little narrative.
great job. good luck with the ratings!
Small game with cute graphics. Nice
Simple, but pretty good... the cussing was unnecessary. I liked the simple graphics and simple music, although there was no sound effects (but I don't really think it needed any). The storyline was clear and cute... and a little sad. Good job.
Cute little game but with full plot, nice pixel art and music. Together in a square screen they fit the theme pretty well. The story and color scheme also hits me. (is the character able to walk with w and s? seems like I can only walk to the left and right)
