WAAAAAH THE GRAPHICS ARE SO COOL
Really atmospheric game: the apartment feels alive and unsettling, and the telephone adds tension. I liked the mix of horror, puzzles, and even pigeons — such a unique touch
An atmospheric game. the visuals evoke specific emotions, well done!
the graphics are cool and the theme is really cool. I love nervous games a lot. And with the art I really felt the spooky feeling. I would love to play this if this was computer game. But I think movement and camera style was making it difficult to play a bit
Really cool entry! I loved the concept and the overall mood you’ve created here. The controls felt responsive and the gameplay was super engaging for a jam project. Left full ratings! If you have a few minutes, we’d love for you to check out our game Meow Bomb! 🐱💣 The official LD page has our jam release, but I also assembled an alternative updated build with fixes and a working PC: https://naiper.itch.io/meow-bomb-by-naiper
Cheers!
I wasn't really sure what to do but it looks awesome! It was a bit annoying that the camera angle changed within the room itself but the vibes are great! I loved walking around and checking the messages on the old phone and pc
Dang this is so impressive!! I played through the whole thing and got Ending A: Collected. It was creepy yet also somehow super chill, I liked the general lack of time pressure and the spooky ambience. Really great work. I got stuck at a couple of points, the biggest one being that it took me ages to find the pliers. But other than that I absolutely loved it.
@kristinamay Thank you so much for playing our game! We are really happy to hear that you finished it! We also just put a warning on the itch page about them being hard to find, thank you for letting us know!
@iris3dart Thank you!! We really liked the idea of fixed cameras like in the original Resident Evil games, but this is our first time trying it out. The feedback really helped!
@corruptde @1ncors @kwuwky @nursultan Thank you so much for playing, we wanted the game to have an old horror game type of feel, glad you enjoyed it!
@yarakdemir Thank you so much for playing it and we're really glad that people liked the art, we really appreciate it! Could you clarify what you meant by "if it was a computer game"? The game as it is now is playable on pc on browser or to download. We didn't manage to make it work on other platforms as well yet.
I didn't find the screwdriver but... Very spooky atmosphere. Love the old change of camera in each room.
Nicely done!
Well... Call me stupid, because I could not find that damn screwdriver... (At least I fed the pigeon)
I'll leave out ratings for overall, and fun for now, but I think it is all very well put together. I really felt like it is a finished product. The original resident evil feel is very present.
Those apartment blocks outside the window feel very familar. A phone with a 4 AM deadline is creepy enough, then you have those figures staring up from the courtyard. Also glad the pigeons made it in.
Rated! Would appreciate you checking out our entry too if you have time: [Robot Workshop](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/trashfight).
Hi, yeah the placement of the screwdriver is not great (and not that intended, I blame on the scope creep and rushing to finish the game:) ). Here is an image of where you can find it so people don't get stuck there anymore.screwdriver.png
@coderaurus @tomtomgome
The combination of fixing strange machinery in that Eastern European apartment is such a cool juxtaposition. I particularly love the inclusion of the pigeons, which adds a genuinely unique and unexpected touch to the horror atmosphere!
Nice atmosphere indeed, well done :) I had a bit of trouble navigating around, but almost got to the end nonetheless ! Just couldn't figure out what I was supposed to dial at the end.
Great submission, a little hard with the navigation. Mood, art, liked it very much! Congrats of submitting
I'm obsessed with your concept, what a fantastic idea you had
Rrrr! The game is too interesting! I sat down to play for a couple of minutes before leaving the house. Had to turn it off and replay from the start when I back home.
Very cool graphics and sound. I did not think before that you could get such a thick horror atmosphere in a Point and click game. From nitpicks maybe just very awkward controls, especially when the camera changes. Otherwise great game! Congrats!
that was so fun to play u guys rlly went in there with those graphics as of n its prolly the best game ive played on this ludum
Well... At least we can come to the conclusion that I am NOT very good at figuring out what amp a resistor is supposed to have!
I need help. I can't figure out the morse for the dial setting.
Hi @stingdragon don't beat yourself up too much, the blame is mostly on me and my poor time management thinking I can balance the puzzle clarity and difficulty in just 72 hours. Managed to submit and publish the game on itch with 30 seconds left on the clock :)))) Maybe with more practice in the future I will.
For the resistors R1 + R2 must equal 550. In the cabinet on the office shelf you will have a note that will tell you which color means what digits you can append and what you multiply them by. The first 2 colors are the digits the last color is the multiplier, so orange(3) orange(3) brown(10) is 33 multiplied by 10 which is 330. Right now there are only 2 resistor that together will add to 550. Or you can see the solution bellow if you want :) !> red-red-brown and orange-orange-brown
For the morse setting, the sequence is saved in your notebook and you can look on the bulletin board at the way to translate it. Fit the rubber belt underneath the telephone by using the pliers and set 1 digit for each ring and then press SET. Or just see the solution bellow !> Ring1 = 4, Ring2 = 1, Ring3 = 7, then press SET
@pigeonescu I could hear the scratching for the morse but I could not cipher it sadly. Figured out the resistors at least! With some trial and error because the math did not math in my head.
I love the atmosphere! Let me play a bit more first then.. (too sleepy to do now).
Only complaint is the infamous Godot freeze in web when switching scenes. :/ Let me play more and comment further! :) Thanks!
Cool entry. Walking around was sometimes a bit hard due to the changing fixed camera angles, but I still had fun. :D
Hi, made a downloadable version for windows as well just in case the web doesn't go too smoothly (it's at the bottom of the itch page). Also I really need to experiment more with the camera, I like the vibe of the old resident evil and also Obscure(2004) so this was my first attempt at this type of pov. @aweskybear @fraanns
@aweskybear Thank you! I will try the Windows build and update this comment. :)
That may be my favorite game of the jam so far, the vibes are fantastic, the puzzles are great, and I love the art style! The movement was a bit rough at times, I love that you kept going on the direction of the first camera perspective but I think the environment was a bit too small and with too many camera cuts to move effectively. And even then it's nitpicky, I've had a great time, 10/10! Also love the voices ahahha
I love the graphics and the vibes. I can feel it getting really spooky over time. But I got stuck on the tagged leads puzzle. Not sure how to progress.
