Interesting experience, it looked cool, though I still don't fully understand how it worked, I think the dots only seemed to turn green on the left of the cursor. I liked it the most when the white ball appeared and started ramping up a cloud, when everything started moving it looked too chaotic and I was just spraying everywhere.
neat! the game froze on me a few times, but the particles are cool!
1101!!! We did it :D Fun little experiment here. Nice work.

Nice little thingy... It just doesnt feel like a real game though. Still pretty cool though!
Simple yet mesmerising. Never heard about Bevy, will definately check it out

@stef-studio-7 Appreciate this; on some further investigation, if you move the triangle over the blue circle at the same time as a dot enters it, the game hangs. I've replicated this on Chrome, but I suspect it's present on all platforms. There is an end-state you can reach if you're so inclined.
@solidhinken I've written a little postmortem on it, if you're curious: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/1100-dots/bevy-thoughts

Nice demo! Reminded me of the game Noita. Would like to see a game with such particles physics
Cool concept game, playing with what felt a lot like orbital physics with a twist was fun. It took a little experimenting to figure out what the mechanic was, but as soon as it clicked that “Oh, I am a vacuum” I had a lot of fun. Adding the progression of difficulty getting the dots into the circle was a good touch, it stopped me from just parking the triangle and holding the same spot. The devious trap of the game hanging when passing over the goal did end my run just shy of the goal :( This was a lot of fun to play with for a little bit, nice job!

Fun to see somebody doing rust, and bevy at that!
Interesting little game. It was fun to each time be surprised by a new mechanic that made it more difficult. Good job!

I liked this, and it is very cool to see a rust/bevy game out in the wild! Bevy has been on my radar for awhile, and I'll be sure to check out that post mortem you wrote up :)
The physics were very fun to play with - It felt really satisfying and intuitive, even if I couldn't quite enunciate the specifics of how the system worked. In fact, that it felt so intuitive and vibey without being something that I could describe in words was a really neat feeling!
Very trippy and engaging, I liked it
I was kinda tempted to do a particle themed game too but went to a other direction in the jam (I would have used unitys particle system thought). Too bad you did not have time to flesh this out to more of a game. Havent heard of Bevy before or touched Rust but data-driven game engine seems like fun. One more option to play around in future if i want to challenge my self with a new engine stuff :D

Haha, I was thinking "wow, this is easy" until other shapes showed up and things started moving! Really interesting and addicting game. Fairly simple in the current stage, but it works! Nice job!

This was a really cool prototype of a game :D I really loved how it looked and the gameplay was actually also interesting. I feel like some calming music could really fit the vibe here :)
One thing that isnt so clear to me is what the different colors of particles mean. Is it just for aesthetics (which really works) or is there a meaning to it?
Woah! What a fascinating game. I like that the physics are not as simple as 'they follow the direction of the arrow'. They seem to have several factors influencing where they are attracted, how they keep momentum, etc. Made for quite a fun experience trying to coax them, and reason about their behavior (rather than just setting the mouse and walking away)
Lovely visuals, totally unique. Made me feel like I was a billion lightyears tall, and moving stars around with my mouse.
Very cool! I really like it.

@prunus-padis Keep it to yourself, but the particle system is really easy to make in Bevy :hushed:
@wuppos It was actually a debug feature; I was having trouble getting the capture cone of the hoover in the right place ( :anger: vectors), so to visualise what was going on I had every particle that got captured by the hoover turn green. I liked the effect, so it stayed in! Apart from that, they're not actually any different. I did have them turn back to red afterwards originally, but the way I implemented it tanked the performance so hard I didn't bother in the end.

Very unique idea and true to the theme! Was actually quite satisfying to mess around with and I like the color feedback the game gives you.

Original use of the particle system! I liked that even with such a simple execution, there's still room for progression and challenge in this game.

Chaos! I liked the idea, although I had a hard time understanding how to play.Good job! Captura de pantalla 2025-10-08 200607.png

A fellow particle system lover. Nice to see another game with pixels flying all over the place
Nice work buddy
Why 1100? Anyway, this was fun to play with. It's really cool to see the particles move. It's really smooth. Satisfying to see them change color. With the soft bloom, I almost forget that I'm looking at circles and triangles.

@pincushion 'cause that's when I ran out of ideas and time for new twists on the formula: it was originally 1000 but it didn't quite feel right. Besides, it sounds like I put more thought into it

What a neat little idea, short and sweet! It would be fun to see this grow out into multiple stages with different challenges with different attractors/repellers, maybe needing to combine colors, etc. Nicely done!
Oh it turns out this is made with rust and bevy, that's awesome! The concept is interesting, the particles look great and feel satisfying with all the dynamism. Would love to see this idea developed into a full game in the future.
This is a pretty cool light show, especially when all the objects start moving around the screen. It'd be neat if you could place your own objects and build your own light show that way.
