The graphics were neat and detailed. It took me while to grasp how things worked but after that the basic gameplay was fairly solid although I often just ended up chasing the sacrifices in a circle for a while :smile:
Amazing game! It was so good I didn't even realize there were not animations
The game is really cool! You know, It would be even better with multiplayer, but, still, It is quite fun to play:)
an interesting entry.
the theme feels forced, because nowhere other than at the title screen, which i doubt a lot of people read.
but the gameplay is solid. feels good. - even though i've got confused by diagonal walls, i thought i can ricochet from them and like keep moving in a different direction. would be cool. but you would need a way to stop then mid way. - i also've got a bit frustrated because my movement speed while in charge wasn't much higher compared to those green peasants. so i've got into a situation where i kept charging for a bunch of those for a while. - also wasd movement doesn't make a lot of sense, since i pretty much always move by charging. there should be a penalty for using charge too much or remove the wasd movement at all
the art is also great. as well as the music.

Really love the general aesthetics, they really feel consistent aswell on the sound and the setting of everything. Even though I think the movement would perfectly fit a controller layout since diagonals are quite easier to make. Although it feels pretty well and the speed of the charge looks like the perfect to me, if you keep trying and trying you'll finally get the sacrifices and that moment when you hit a bunch of them feels pretty cool. Nice work!

Gameplay wise I think I'd not have given the "dash" to tributes, made them quite annoying to chase (and with my gooooold!). Also the gameplay encourages you to camp at the middle, I'm not sure if this is what you intended or not.
In any case, good job!

I really like the simple and clean graphics this game has. Maybe the sacrifices could be a bit slower so they would be bit easier to catch and there would be less running in circles with them.

As some others have stated it can be really hard to catch the tributes since they just run away at almost the same speed which can get a little frustrating
Had a lot of fun with this! The art is concise and clean, and even though it's not animated it feels really good in motion. The dust effect for charging and the arrow to indicate your movement direction are great touches. I also loved the coin scatter, I wish there were more coins placed in the level to charge through!
I found it pretty difficult to catch the peasants, as others have said. Charging speed seems like it *should* be a fair bit faster than a fleeing peasant. Also, I'm not sure if I totally understood what the tribute counter was tracking? At first it went up with each kill so I figured it was tracking my sacrifices, but then it went down a couple of times and I didn't know why, or if that was just a bug.
I really liked the graphics, but I really have to agree with the other commenters, the dash to the peasants made them hard to catch and the best way was to camp the middle.

Cool aesthetic. I have a feedback suggestion to you, let's see if I can explain it as my english is not native: when you are pressing right and up in the keyboard, and you crash against a wall, the character stops. It would be pretty nice to have the character just keep moving right instead of negating all your input.
Once you grasp you have to dash towards green people while avoiding blue ones the game is a lot of fun but it was a bit hard to get it at first. The graphics and the music were well fitting the game so good job !

Great stuff. It's like a really cool twist of PacMan. I had a lot of fun playing this.
It bothers me how the green guys run slightly slower than the dash speed and you can be chasing them for a long while. If the green guys run slower I think it would be even a better experience.
As I said I really enjoyed it though. So congrats!
Nice game. I liked the art and music, also how the IA reacts but maybe with a more aggressive IA the game would increase the fun. Well done!
This was an interesting entry, the graphics were nice although I would appreciate a little more to change on the map as you progress. The movement was satisfying though, although I agree the sacrifices speed could be lowered just a little so there is less running in circles. I also had my score continue to increase after I died which was interesting!
Overall this was a nice entry!
