Great game! Love the graphics and really enjoyable. Only nitpick is that it feels impossible to win by defending so I could only win with an all-out attack strategy.
Cool concept, really enjoyed playing it, though it quickly grows out of control with jellies covering the whole the screen (and even beyond), leaving absolutely no hope for the poor pixel-warriors.
With some kind of population regulation mechanism (maybe those mutations could do the trick) it could become a really nice game!
Fun game, very original. It's really challenging to run around avoiding the monsters so that you can bunch them up and get multiple kills with each shot, well done!
The game runs really smoothly, but you can indeed just put all orbs on one tower slot and move them around as needed with no downside at all. Lacks a few extra mechanics to become really interesting and give a true sense of choice since removing all orbs from the central orb currently feels absolutely optimal.
@haneton You can use right-click to close the menus (not obvious at all I know ^^)
Great game, you really nailed the war feeling in my opinion.
Only nitpick is that the heavy mood was slighty ruined by a typo in the screen after the game the "soliders" instead of "soldiers"

Very satisfying to profit off of your gobelin's death to build a bigger and bigger army :smiling_imp:
I did run into the bug where you get the cymbal crash but still have units in the wave, looks like it happens when you mix gobelins and other units, as soon as all gobelins die the wave is considered over maybe ?
Really cool game, the idea of sacrifying your high-level towers to build more towers works well. The difficulty spikes brutally at wave 10 so I wasn't prepared since before that it was really easy so I didn't try really hard :smile:

Nice game! A map could have helped because at some point I couldn't really remember what I hadn't explored yet.
Currently the best game I've played in the jam, great aesthetics and challenging levels.

Everything worked perfectly and looked really nice. Only minor complaint is that sounds ended up a little messed up when my whole screen was filled with towers, most likely from too many sounds playing at once.

@djindegames Thanks for the comment, we were definitely too ambitious and ran out of time to properly test or implement everything. Many issues are specific to things like screen resolution (ultrawide simply doesn't work at all), tutorial button doesn't work on fullscreen, etc
Other bugs are only visual, like the health bars not updating on the last hit of the fight (but the hit does work properly).
Very nice tower defense, though as the others mentionned before the game is a little too easy/repetitive in its current state.
Starting over from nothing each wave while keeping your money is interesting. With varying waves you could try to win while saving as much money as possible for a boss wave every 5 waves for instance.

@marxy-37 We clearly wanted to make a tutorial but ran out of time and ended up putting a wall of text hoping that players would figure out how to play, glad you could enjoy it anyways
Very nice game, the art and sound are great.
I like the idea of being able to tank the hits for the miner, the different weapons and the gameplay "loop" are a little underwhelming but the game is enjoyable anyways :thumbsup:
Great retro style in the art and soundtrack.
The game ends up being more of a rythm challenge as you progress because you can shoot everything down instantly with the increased rate of fire.

Currently it's very simple since there's only one tower and a few positions allowed.

You can spam the right-click on the second part to stay on the "hook point" infinitely which makes it completely trivial.

@bentebent The exit condition is to survive a loop for 1 minute, it's easy to overlook the timer in the top-right corner ^^
@mathemagician The gatling guns have unlimited range so you figured out the optimal strategy!
@spacecadet There is no way to completely lose the game. The effects do get too extreme, I didn't have a good idea on how to fix it and ran out of time anyways.

@DragonZBW Maybe change .Replace(β\nβ,ββ) with .Replace(β\\\nβ,ββ), I think I read something about that at some point. Or add a .Replace(β\rβ,ββ) since on windows the line returns are \r\n if I recall correctly

@nidup Looking back on the controls, pure mouse could have been made fairly easily and would have made a lot more sense.

Very fun game, my only nitpick was that (at least in normal difficulty) it was a bit long to complete the game, I survived a long time and barely won in the end. But really, great work π
