It is suspected that this hell is endless. Interesting implementation. Weak brakes
Very fun game but I got stuck just by flipping on side.
Really cool, like the overall style. I think roundabouts should spawn off screen, so they don't just pop in. Also a mode where you can just wreck other cars without losing would be nice.
Awesome Job! :)
Fun little game. I feel like I'd prefer it if the control directions were relative to the screen/map rather than relative to the car. That may just be me.
@wevel Believe me, I wanted to add in a free roam mode (and one where you have a time limit to reach the next exit), but was *way* too busy to get it done. In the meantime, take solace in the fact that you can keep driving and crashing cars with the game over screen up.
@eduard-hauer We noticed that was a problem a bit too late to get a proper solution in, but if you hit the "r" key, it'll drop the car back at the initial spawn!
@mathemagician thank for your tip
This car needs a brake check. Love when the cars jump, would be cool if you could jump your own car? Really grand execution of the theme--love the art, music, and physics disasters.
God-tier main menu screen, very creative.
Very nice game. I really like the graphical aesthetic you went with.
Wow that was so fun :D Main menu screen is just awesome. Love the music also. Well done
This was an exceptionally professional entry and felt extremely polished but I found I got bored fairly quickly.
As others have noted the breaks felt very weak, I also drove off the bottom of the menu and got lost.
I especially found the later levels where I had to re-tread my steps became quite tedious, I think I would have enjoyed it more with some mechanics that pushed me to take risks with my driving something like a time limit or de-buff system where your car gets fixed in accelerate mode for 1 roundabout or something
Very fun game, good job! Crashing into cars is very satisfying
The graphics look amazing. I think it would be more fun if I didn't spend most of the time upside-down.
This was a fun game! The controls were smooth and crashing into cars were indeed satisfying xd. I like the menu too, love how it was a mini tutorial haha. Nice job!
Very cool little game! I hate roundabouts in real life, so when you guys stacked them, it really was a nightmare for me haha. For some reason I actually got stuck on a roundabout with only wrong exits, is this possible, or did I do something wrong? Also, I actually found that hitting the cars was so much more fun than not hitting them, so maybe you could actually do something with that mechanic. Follow the fun, and all that. Good job on this game guys :)
@virtual-turtle-studio What probably happened there is that we can pick the next exit from *any* of the exposed exits, not just one in the newly generated roundabout. We've definitely been getting feedback that it feels a little tedious backtracking for things like that, so we'll have to figure out something cleaner if we go further with it. You're 100% right about finding the fun with the car crashes, we may have a pivot and a new mode on our hands soon.
@copito Originally I wanted to have varied layouts you'd have to drive through to mix things up, but those kinds of powerups/constraints are a really good idea. The brakes were definitely bit of a mistake: I wanted to add in a handbrake, but ran out of time to get it feeling good and just added in a reverse (which accelerates half as fast as forwards) instead, which doesn't really cut it. Could've used some tweaking if I hadn't done it last minute haha
This is a really fun game, good job!
Simple yet fun concept, more challenging than I expected at first sight. Well done!
Good gameplay
Nice look and 10/10 menu screen!!
Dang! That title screen/tutorial is really good!
Menu screen is pretty cool! I loved that I could just roam around freely, and I like the physics, I think it's cool my car totally flips if I collide with someone (when I'm going the wrong direction).
