That's a nice game overall, also if I do not really see the theme in the game. Otherwise, I suggest you to guide the player between the levels because when I first run the game, I do not know if I have to go to the first skull and so I have done the last level for beginning :joy: Anyway good job
Like it was written above, the game is balanced and the diversity of skills is really nice. It's also nice to have a little music for having an atmosphere and not have a feeling of void. The only thing which bothers me was the graphics, but it's a good surprise so
I was not expecting to see that kind of game for this theme, but it's a cool idea. Maybe more feedback will be good for the player. Like said above, you don't know if you gain money ore if you're attacked. Otherwise, it's a good thing to have a tutoriel
@vlad-ilisan We wanted to add some money mechanic too but we ran out off time and we prefer to resolve some bug. But if we do a post gamejam update, this is one of the things that we want to improve.
Anyway, @keithdae, @vlad-ilisan, I hope you enjoy our game et thank you for playing :)
It's nice to have a relaxing game with a great atmosphere after a day of work. I didn't read the "how to play", but I was able to catch some fish after several attempts. The system to throw the fishing hook feels weird at first, but after some time, I think it was perfect for the lazy gamer that I am.
The graphics are nice and it's cool to see new creatures wave by wave. I thinks the atmosphere can be a lot better with some ambient sounds but for a game done in two day and in solo, it's already really cool.
@kr4xkan Thanks for your comment. I was in charge of most of the assets and as a student in tech art I completely agree with you. I would like to make some custom CRT/Glitch post-process, but I didn't get the time of course. I may the post process later to draw my frustration
@barbaraann @moomka Yes, we somewhat fucked up with the mouse movement. It was our first time doing an fps. We will do better next time
It's a really cool game. The graphics, the parallax effect on the menu the particles and the sound design make the game look really polished. I've got some problem to move in the menu and got stuck one time, but overall a really great game.
The graphics are really lovely the overall mood is really nice. But as the previous comment, I think the game would benefit some better feedback. It's really hard during the first games.
It's a good start. You've implemented a menu and a hud that are simple but clear. I smile when I heard the music. I suppose you used bosca ceoil? I think it's really cool to see that you've created your own music. The game can be improve with more feedback in the gameplay. At least some particles when you hit something or the trail of the bullet. But overall, it's a great start.
