Still nothing? ._.
That's a nice game overall, also if I do not really see the theme in the game. Otherwise, I suggest you to guide the player between the levels because when I first run the game, I do not know if I have to go to the first skull and so I have done the last level for beginning :joy: Anyway good job
The lowpoly art brought me here and I like the concept but I may be missing something vital? I can't get past level one :) I see the rhythm of the spikes go up and down (cool with rhythm btw =) and I also see that there is a path around the spikes. When my vision is blacked out, I never make it to any sort of destination - the audio queues aren't enough for localization and a speedrun across the spikes has me impaled before I reach anywhere to level up.
@imphenzia You can listen to the sound of spikes. For level 1, remember the pattern of spikes and notice the sound's volume. When you get closer to the spikes, you'll hear a louder sound. When you get closer to the exit, you'll hear a beeping sound's pitch going higher and higher. Good luck.
Went to the last level on my first try so it was a little funny to complete the game in a short while. It feels a little too easy to complete when the exit is always at the end corner, maybe if the exit was somewhere in the middle that might make it more interesting. Really unique concept, but I'm not sure if the spike gameplay works with walking in the blind - maybe having it such that listening to a voice guiding you in a maze would be a little more in line with using your listening to guide your movement. I love the art style and the satisfying spike sounds.
Hmmm... interesting game. First I failed, then I got what it requires from me.
Thank you for making it!
Really nice game, the lowpoly art is clean and polished, and I liked the audio!
Good job!
I liked the idea but I felt like I didn't have enough information most of the time. For the first two levels I basically walked forward at the right time, and the third one I felt was just luck. Adding a footstep sound would have helped. Maybe make it correspond to walking a certain distance. The sounds and visuals were really polished though, and I liked the idea, just the main mechanic could have used a bit more polishing.
Nice graphics and game idea. I accidently started with the last level though (: But does it fit the theme? Reminds me of "you can only move or see, not both". Anyway cool creation! :D
@randomphantom I'll think about your suggestions. Thanks a lot :)
@sockman Acutally, I have the footstep sound in my game. :open_mouth: Maybe it's too quiet? The mechanism needs to be more polished, I agree!
The screen is just uniform grey for me after I launch. IDK if that's a bug or my PC is acting up or something. I'll get backto this.
