Great game, I really enjoyed playing it :)

I love the art style and the animations, everything fit together pretty well and the sound design really tied it all together. The music was great and the sound effects complimented it nicely.

Some specific notes I have: - It was hard to get started at first, figuring out that I had to put the plants in different spots was especially hard. Maybe some colour in the icons for weather would help that? - If I put a plant on top of the water spray or fertilizer, it made it impossible to select them so I would have to move the plants temporarily first. I would prioritize those when the player clicks because they are more crucial to the gameplay. - There's not too much player feedback in terms of UI, so it was a bit harder at the beginning to figure out what I'm supposed to click and what I'm not. I would suggest differentiating between the background and gameplay objects - adding an outline or highlighting it when the player mouses over, something like that.

Overall I had a really good time, it gets pretty hectic once I started getting a lot of plants. Great work :)

Great game. My game is similarly about taking care of house plants. Yours is much cuter though. My partner was trying to convince me to add a monstera, but I didn't get around to it. I love the sounds the character makes.

It's great seeing someone else taking the theme about taking care of plants.

It was a little difficult to know where my tools were at first, but then figured it out. Great use of art, animations, and sound. Really cute little game.

Lovely game and a really nice intepretation of the theme! As it's already been said, some extra feedback to guide my actions would be awesome. Great job nonetheless!

The mood of this was great - I enjoyed figuring out what the plants needed, then providing that need. The music was well balanced, and without the "keeping alive" part, I would see this as a low stress game. I really like your text, simple colors, and font (oh those fonts!). Your "controls" were very simplistic and I like how there was a screenshot displaying them. (keep these things up!)

So - multiple playthroughs - my plants kept dying. I either over-watered them, or something else was wrong that I didn't understand. When looking at the plants, it would be nice to see "Needs more sun" or "needs fertilizer"... sometimes I just didn't understand what the plant needed (or didn't need). It would also be nice to have "red" marks where I SHOULDN'T water. :( They just kept dying! A little more adjustment to the difficulty curve would have been a nice welcome!

I with you enabled "mood". It did have a great relaxing feel to it (until I kept dying). Your next game should focus on that mood - I think that was a great strength of this game.

I love the throwback to the games of old :) I found it really hard to play. I 'm still not sure how to grab something that I apparently dropped on a plant. Also placing the plants in the correct place was hard for me, using a touchpad at least. I love the artwork because the plants really looked like the ones I've at home :)

Good Game with a happy aura! It's really hard to get started because you don't know the needs of each plant at first. I would have scratched the "learn about plant" feature and just given the player the info immediately. And damn those plants are sensible. You can't even tell how much water/fertilizer you'll add.

This game has a lot of potential though. If you'd just constantly display the plants requirements and add a range to those requirement-bars it would be a lot more accessible.

The graphics are really lovely the overall mood is really nice. But as the previous comment, I think the game would benefit some better feedback. It's really hard during the first games.

Nice graphics and style. Seems I can kill virtual plants as well as real ones.

Took me a little while to figure out how to keep the plants alive but overall, despite not having a virtual green thumb AT ALL I had a lot of fun! The graphics are beautiful ~

Super cute graphic style and music/sounds. Quite a frustrating game if I'm honest! I couldn't seem to click where I wanted the player to move to, and then I just had a stockpile of dead plants so it got even harder to move around, so an option to dispose of the dead plants would be nice (unless it's there and I missed it). I would also suggest that maybe the player just naturally learns about the plants over time without the faff of picking one up and moving it to the computer. Overall nicely done though. :)

Amazing. Love the design. But I'm such a bad gardener xD all my plants died :(

This is beautiful and very chill. quite a peaceful game It was a bit hard at first because things aren't explained well, but once I got things it was much better! I do have to say point and click wasn't very responsive and a lot of conflict happened between overlapping objects. As such I could never reach the screen to (allegedly) learn about the plants. Also a garbage for dead plant would be nice.

Great job!

Wonderful relaxation game :sunflower: I loved the minimal aesthetic, instruction window was super clear, it could've even appeared as a "popup tutorial" as one starts the game for the first time. Nice entry!

@devilqube I can relate :smile:

dave-follett 2020-04-30 03:56

Great job. I really liked the artwork and sound effects as well as the concept. I killed many many plants :( some more instructions on how to play would really help. I couldn't figure out where to move the plants for example.

Really like the art and it was a fun and relaxing game! Great work!
