Beautiful game! There are only things we could add on this concept. Everything is great!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD35 → Perception

Beautiful game! There are only things we could add on this concept. Everything is great!
Screenshots look cool! Wish there was a Mac version!
Really pleasant experience.
Really neat game, i guess this would be what a bat would kind of feel like.
Great game. It would be great if it would have more content.
I couldn't figure out the objective, but it was fun.
Very lovely game. I think I completed it
Awesome game, beautifully polished. It is great fun to explore and evolve. Good job!
Such a wonderful game! After much experimenting with the "parts," I finally found the objective.
whoa, really cool idea!
This game is absolutely brilliant. The concept is amazing and very well executed.
I really love the core mechanic and how clever it goes with the theme. Really good job.
WOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm giving this perfect scores!!
Very very well done! Simple yet elegant, beautiful game!
Wow! Beautiful and polished. Using perception as an interpretation of shapeshifting is very creative. I also liked the little proverbial statements; they really added to the mood!
The thing I found interesting was that the more perception modules one obtained, the harder it became to navigate, since your size got bigger. However, I think this actually had a positive effect to the gameplay, forcing players to lose perception so that they seek to get it back. Combined with the text about not focusing on what we lack, it was perfect.
As an interesting side effect, the game makes you think about people who have perceptual disabilities, like blindness or deafness. Excellent work!
Really enjoyed it! At the beginning I picked up too many things too quickly and missed the description of what I was picking up, but was able to figure out most of them before long.
Extremely interesting concept! I managed to find the light eventually :). It seems modules are not really balanced (the grid module...?), but this could be expanded into something quite neat. But there a subtle line to tread to avoid frustration.
Great concept and very fun to play!
This was an amazing experience! Good aesthetic. Thanks for making this game. Glad to see more GMS users here :)
I love the idea, but it's irritatingly difficult to add on the new abilities where I want them to go. I wanted it adjacent to a particular one so as not to dramatically increase my size? Nope, now it attached diagonally to the outermost square and I can't navigate anywhere now. Fuck
Really nice mechanics. The graphics are simple but well made! The atmosphere is good too! Very good job!
Super interesting idea! I included it in my video compilation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/KyB-5ZqWXwk
This is really creative! Simple, fun and unique! :)
Brilliant! One of the most innovative games I've played!
Managing the perceptors was a very clever mechanic, as the more aware you were of your surroundings the "clumsier" you would get because of the size. That added some welcome challenge as well.
Congratulations, this could be interesting as a full game!
Nice game, absolutely brilliant.
wow. that was very interesting and somewhat I felt like it's like going through life. There will be always something you think you might be lacking, but if you concentrate on it, it not only risks ever arriving to your goal (that you don't even know yet), but it also slows you down o.o also, you can't prepare for everything no matter how hard you try.
This game is the best one out of the 30 I have seen so far. Great Job!
Thought this was a really fascinating experience. The two things that really bogged me down were not knowing which type of bad things I was hit by (wall vs. green orb), and the ambiguous instructions on what the game's objective is. More clarity early on for both of those accounts would really help.
Amazing idea!
You have been featured on today's Ludum Dare to Believe! Check it out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i0IenE6HQE
There is a sort of philosophical tale in this game. Whatever you do, you only perceive what you're equipped to, and that's not only true in the game. Anyway, very interesting entry, well done. :)
Really cool idea and game!
