Well-made, I had fun, it's rewarding that every enemy drops something. Maybe some kind of power-ups to improve it? Like more speed?
Anyways, good job (but no love for Azerty made it hard to test x)).
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD32 → Utensil Attack

Funny idea, but you should limit the burning hats a bit, you can just wait for a bunch of zombies kill them with a hat and get ten more hats.
Well done. I think that OP mode is not necesary, so much heal and burning hats are over op. GJ for 48h compo ;)
Nice game!
My criticisms would be the candles seems overpowered. If you get a bunch of those early on, you can just keep going on practically doing nothing. Also, maybe in a post-ld version you should make the drops more rarer later on, because after you kill a bunch of zombies there is pretty much an endless supply of pickups.
The burning hats made me laugh. Pretty simple, but does what it does well!
Solid work. The main problem in my eyes is that zombies line up perfectly with each other while chasing you so you can't tell how many are coming after you.
Nice Job! Very funny, hardest at the beginning, but when you got the other weapons it become more easy, until you die.
well thought complete game. I don't get why there's a "god mode"(when you press p), and I don't get burning hats either. Weapons seem either underpowered or overpowered, while there are tons of pickups. They ruin the But it's a fun complete game with sounds and stuff! It could use some polish and some obstacles, but great work!
This game feels really good. I like how everything you throw and all the zombie blood stays on the battlefield. One of the more complete entries I've seen. Great job!
Couldn't run the game on Linux: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: engine/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Hi, Thanks for all the great feedback so far. I have now added a recompiled version of the game for Mac/Linux and Java 1.7 users. If you continue to have issues please let me know!
Fun! I like the unusual controls, they work for me.
Nice to see a Java game! I felt like basic enemies should kill faster, that would have felt more empowering. I like how the battlefield gets slowly more cluttered with weapons and power ups.
Another classic run away from zombies firing spoons game! I had a lot of fun playing this game. Liked the way that the jam slowed the zombies down. Great job!
I've played tons of games in this jam where you attack with spoons, but only in this one do I actually feel like I'm throwing spoons. There's a nice variety of weapons, too. The banana hat is OP, though,
Nice to see a game using good old pixel manipulation of AWT/Swing buffers :)
Nice game, would be nice to scroll through the weapons
Yeah, I go pretty far until accidentally switched window =) When I returned, I was already dead. Classic idea and nice implementation =)
In Linux i get the following.

I like it, but kind of a grind. If the difficulty increases, it does so too slowly.
